༄༅། །བདེ་ཆེན་ཞིང་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་གསོལ་འདེབས་བཞུགས།

Prayer for the Land of Great Bliss Practice

by the Fourteenth Karmapa

 

ན་མོ་ཨ་མི་ཏཱ་བྷཱ་ཡ།

Namo amitābhāya!

ནུབ་ཕྱོགས་བདེ་ལྡན་པདྨ་བཀོད་ཞིང་གཙོ། །

nub chok deden pema kö zhing tso

Main deity of the blissful land to the west, Lotus Array,

འཆི་མེད་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འོད་སྣང་མཐའ་ཡས་ལ། །

chimé chomden önang tayé la

The deathless buddha Amitābha, Boundless Light,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་མཐུ་ཆེན་ཐོབ་ལ་སོགས། །

chenré zik wang tuchen top la sok

Lord Avalokiteśvara, mighty Vajrapāṇi and the rest,

བྱང་སེམས་ཉན་རང་དགྲ་བཅོམ་འཁོར་ཚོགས་ལ། །

chang sem nyen rang drachom khor tsok la

With your retinue of bodhisattvas, śrāvaka and pratyekabuddha arhats,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

སངས་རྒྱས་གཉིས་པ་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་པདྨ་འབྱུང༌། །

sangye nyipa tsokyé pema jung

Second buddha, lake-born Padmākara,

རིག་འཛིན་གྲུབ་ཐོབ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ། །

rigdzin druptop gyatsöi tsok nam la

And the hosts of infinite vidyādharas and siddhas,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

མི་འགྱུར་རྡོ་རྗེ་བདུད་འདུལ་རོལ་པ་རྩལ། །

mingyur dorje düdul rolpa tsal

Mingyur Dorje, Düddul Rolpa Tsal,

རྩ་བརྒྱུད་དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མ་མཆོག་རྣམས་ལ། །

tsa gyü palden lama chok nam la

Supreme and glorious root and lineage gurus,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

ཞི་དང་འཁྲོ་བོས་སྤྲུལ་བསྒྱུར་སྣ་ཚོགས་པར། །

zhi dang trowö trul gyur natsok par

Peaceful and wrathful emanations displaying various forms,

སྟོན་མཛད་ཡི་དམ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ། །

tön dzé yidam gyatsö tsok nam la

Hosts of infinite, ocean-like yidam deities:

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

མ་མགོན་ལྕམ་དྲལ་སེང་གདོང་ཡབ་ཡུམ་སོགས། །

ma gön cham dral seng dong yab yum sok

Wrathful mother and protector, your brothers and sisters, the Lion-Faced in union, and the rest,

བསྟན་སྲུང་དམ་ཅན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ། །

tensung damchen gyatsö tsok nam la

The infinite hosts of oath-bound guardians of the teachings:

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

solwa depso chinlap ngödrup tsol

I pray to you: bestow your blessings and attainments!

གདོད་མའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dömé sangyé drubpar chin gyi lop

Inspire us to realize primordial buddhahood!

 

དེ་ལྟར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱིས། །

dé tar solwa tabpé chinlap kyi

Through the inspiration and blessings of praying in this way,

སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་ནད་གདོན་བར་ཆད་ཞི་བ་དང༌། །

drip nyi né dön bar ché zhiwa dang

May the two obscurations, illness, harmful influences and obstacles be pacified,

ཚེ་དཔལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྣང་བ་རབ་ཏུ་རྒྱས། །

tsé pal yeshé nangwa rabtu gyé

And the light of longevity, glory and wisdom fully develop and expand,

འོད་དཔག་མེད་མགོན་དབྱེར་མེད་སངས་རྒྱས་ཤོག །

öpakmé gön yermé sangyé shok

And may we attain Enlightenment inseparable from the protector Amitābha!

 

ཅེས་གནམ་ཆོས་འོད་ཆོག་གི་བརྒྱུད་པའི་གསོལ་འདེབས་ཉུང་བསྡུས་འདིའང༌། དགེ་སློང་ཀརྨ་ཆོས་ལྡན་གྱིས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། ༧ཀརྨ་པ་བཅུ་བཞི་པས་གང་ཤར་འཕྲལ་དུ་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

At the request of the bhikṣu Karma Chöden, the Fourteenth Karmapa wrote down whatever came to mind. May it be virtuous!
