༄༅། །ས་བདག་བཤགས་འབུམ་བསྡུས་པ་བཞུགས་སོ།།

Brief Confession to the Earth Lords¹

ཀྱཻ། བདག་དང་རྒྱུ་སྦྱོར་ཡོན་བདག་གིས། །

kyé, dak dang gyujor yöndak gi

Kye! Whatever we practitioners and our patrons

ལྷ་ཀླུ་གཉན་གསུམ་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ལ། །

lha lunyen sum khyé nam la

Have done towards the devas, nāgas and nyen spirits,²

ཕ་མ་སྔ་རབས་འདས་པ་དང་། །

pama ngarab depa dang

Including the actions of our ancestors from the past,

བུ་ཚ་ཕྱི་རབས་ཡན་ཆད་དུ། །

butsa chirab yenché du

And of our descendants in the future—

ས་གཉན་རྐོས་དང་རྡོ་གཉན་སློང་། །

sa nyen kö dang do nyen long

Transgressions, such as digging up the spirits of the earth, raising the spirits of stone,³

ཆུ་གཉན་དཀྲུགས་དང་ཤིང་གཉན་བཅད། །

chu nyen truk dang shing nyen ché

Stirring the spirits of water, cutting the spirits of trees,

དུར་བཏབ་གཤིན་ལས་གང་བྱས་སོགས། །

dur tab shin lé gang jé sok

Disturbing burial ground and funeral rites, and the like—

མ་རིག་དབང་གིས་ཅི་བགྱིས་པ། །

marik wang gi chigyi pa

Whatever we have done in our ignorance,⁴

མཐོལ་ལོ་བཤགས་སོ་དག་གྱུར་ཅིག །

tol lo shak so dak gyur chik

We hereby declare and confess: may it all be purified!

ཅེས་པའང་མཁས་གྲུབ་རཱ་ག་ཨ་སྱས་བྲིས་པའོ།། །།
