༄༅། །བརྟན་བཞུགས་སྤྱི་འགྲོ་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པའི་གསུང་།

General Long-Life Prayer

ཨོཾ་ཨ་མཱ་ར་ཎི་ཛི་ཝནྟི་ཡེ་སྭ་ཧཱ།

om amarani dziwantiyé soha

oṃ amaraṇi jīvantaye svāhā

སྣང་སྟོང་བདེ་ཆེན་གཞོམ་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ། །

nangtong dechen zhommé dorjé ku

Vajra kāya of indestructible great bliss, union of appearance and emptiness,

མཚན་དཔེའི་ལང་ཚོ་རབ་རྒྱས་རྒྱལ་ཀུན་གྱི། །

tsenpé langtso rabgyé gyal kün gyi

Fully blossomed youthful form with all the marks and signs,

ངོ་མཚར་སྤྱི་གཟུགས་གང་འདུལ་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །

ngotsar chizuk gang dul trulpé ku

Wonderful embodiment, the nirmāṇakāya who tames everyone,

འགྱུར་མེད་སྐུ་ཡི་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

gyurmé ku yi dorjé zhabten sol

We pray: may the life of the unchanging vajra kāya be firm!

གྲགས་སྟོང་འགགས་པ་མེད་པ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་གསུང་། །

drak tong gakpa mepa dorjé sung

Vajra speech, the unceasing union of sound and emptiness,

ཡན་ལག་དྲུག་ཅུ་ཟབ་གསང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ། །

yenlak drukchu zabsang chö kyi dra

The sixty aspects of the melodious sound of the profound and secret Dharma,

འགྲོ་བློའི་བསམ་པ་བཞིན་སྟོན་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས། །

dro lö sampa zhin tön longchö dzok

The sambhogakāya who teaches beings according to their needs,

འགག་མེད་གསུང་གི་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

gakmé sung gi dorjé zhabten sol

We pray: may the unceasing vajra speech remain ever firm!

རིག་སྟོང་སྐྱེ་འགག་གནས་བྲལ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཐུགས། །

riktong kye gak né dral dorjé tuk

Vajra mind, the union of rigpa and emptiness, without birth, ceasing, or abiding,

ཟབ་གསལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་ཀུན་འབྱུང་བའི་དབྱིངས། །

zabsal yeshe chö kün jungwé ying

The profound clear wisdom expanse from which all phenomena arise,

ཁྱབ་བདག་རྒྱལ་བའི་སྙིང་པོ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ། །

khyabdak gyalwé nyingpo chö kyi ku

The all-pervasive lord dharmakāya, the essence of all the victors,

འཁྲུལ་མེད་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

trulmé tuk kyi dorjé zhabten sol

We pray: may the undeluded vajra mind remain ever firm!

ཀུན་ཁྱབ་མཁའ་ལ་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཉིན་པོར་བྱེད། །

künkhyab kha la trinlé nyinpor jé

You are the sun of activity in the all-encompassing sky,

འཆར་ནུབ་ཡོངས་བྲལ་ཕན་བདེའི་སྣང་བ་ཅན། །

char nub yongdral pendé nangwachen

Beyond rising and setting, the light of benefit and happiness,

བསྟན་འགྲོའི་པད་ཚལ་རྒྱས་པའི་ཉེར་འཚོ་མཆོག །

ten drö petsal gyepé nyer tso chok

Supreme nourishing water which causes the lotus petals of the teachings and beings to bloom,

བསྐལ་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོར་རབ་ཏུ་གསལ་གྱུར་ཅིག །

kalpa gyatsor rabtu sal gyur chik

May your presence be clearly manifest for an ocean of aeons!

ཅེས་བརྟན་བཞུགས་སྤྱི་འགྲོ་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པའི་གསུང་ངོ། །
