Serkyem Offering

༄༅། །རང་ལུགས་ཀྱི་སྲུང་མ་སྤྱིའི་གསེར་སྐྱེམས་བཞུགས།

Serkyem (Golden Libation) Offering to the Guardians of the Tradition

འབྲུ་བཅུད་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཕུད་གཙང་མ།

Bless the pure select portion of offerings, including food and drink, with:

རྂ་ཡྂ་ཁྂ་དང་། ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྂ། གིས་བརླབས་ལ།

ram yam kham | om ah hung

Raṃ yaṃ khaṃ! Oṃ āḥ hūṃ!

ཧཱུྂ། མཆོག་གསུམ་རིག་འཛིན་རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་དང༌། །

hung, chok sum rigdzin tsa gyü lama dang

Hūṃ! Three Jewels, vidyādhara root and lineage masters,

རྒྱུད་སྡེ་དྲུག་གི་ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ལྷ། །

gyü dé druk gi zhitro rabjam lha

Infinite deities of the six classes of tantra, peaceful and wrathful,

དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་དམ་ཅན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལ། །

pawo khandro damchen gyatso la

Ocean-like host of ḍākas, ḍākinīs and samaya-bound protectors:

གསེར་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ལོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

serkyem chöpa bul lo trinlé dzö

To you, we offer this golden drink: carry out your activity!

ཁྱད་པར་ལེགས་ལྡན་མ་ནིང་བདུད་མགོན་ནག །

khyepar lekden maning dügön nak

Especially Lekden, Maning, and the Black Dügon,

ཨེ་ཀ་ཛ་ཊི་སྲོག་སྒྲུབ་རེ་མ་ཏི། །

ekadzati sokdrub remati

Ekajaṭī, Sokdrupma and Rematī,

དྲང་སྲོང་གཟའ་མཆོག་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལེགས་པ་ལ། །

drangsong za chok dorjé lekpa la

Supreme ṛṣi Rāhula, and Dorjé Lekpa

གསེར་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ལོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

serkyem chöpa bul lo trinlé dzö

To you, we offer this golden drink: carry out your activity!

དབང་མོ་ཉེར་བརྒྱད་འཆི་བདག་ཕུར་སྲུང་དང༌། །

wangmo nyergyé chidak pur sung dang

The twenty-eight īśvarīs, Lord of Death and guardians of Kīlaya,

དཀར་མོ་ཉི་ཟླ་བདུད་རྒྱལ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་ཅན། །

karmo nyida dügyal tötreng chen

Karmo Nyida and Dügyal Tötreng Chen,

བཙན་རྒོད་འབར་བ་སྡེ་དཔོན་སུམ་ཅུ་ལ། །

tsen gö barwa depön sumchu la

The blazing wild Tsen, and the thirty chieftains of divisions,

གསེར་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ལོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

serkyem chöpa bul lo trinlé dzö

To you, we offer this golden drink: carry out your activity!

དྲེགས་ཆེན་བཅོ་བརྒྱད་བརྟན་མ་བཅུ་གཉིས་དང༌། །

drek chen chobgyé tenma chunyi dang

The eighteen great arrogant ones, twelve tenmas

ཟབ་གཏེར་སྲུང་མ་གཞི་བདག་དཀར་ཕྱོགས་སྐྱོང༌། །

zabter sungma zhidak karchok kyong

Guardians of the profound termas, local deities, and those who protect the Dharma and the good,

འགོ་བའི་ལྷ་ལྔ་སྐྱོབས་བྱེད་ལྷ་རྣམས་ལ། །

gowé lha nga kyobjé lha nam la

The five patron deities, and all deities who give protection:

གསེར་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ལོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

serkyem chöpa bul lo trinlé dzö

To you, we offer this golden drink: carry out your activity!

གཞན་ཡང་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདས་དང་མ་འདས་པའི། །

zhenyang jikten dé dang madepé

Also, you who belong to this world and those who are beyond it,

ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་སྡེ་བརྒྱད་རིགས། །

chökyong norlha terdak dé gyé rik

Dharmapālas, wealth deities, terma lords, and the eight classes,

སྣང་ཞིང་སྲིད་པའི་འཁོར་འདས་མགྲོན་རྣམས་ལ། །

nang zhing sipé khordé drön nam la

To all guests of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, of all appearance and existence,

གསེར་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ལོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

serkyem chöpa bul lo trinlé dzö

To you, we offer this golden drink: carry out your activity!

ཁྱེད་རྣམས་མཆོད་ཅིང་ཕྲིན་ལས་བཅོལ་བའི་མཐུས། །

khyé nam chö ching trinlé cholwé tü

You! By the power of our offering and commanding you to act,

རྒྱལ་བའི་བསྟན་དང་བསྟན་འཛིན་དར་ཞིང་རྒྱས། །

gyalwé ten dang tendzin dar zhing gyé

Make the teaching and the holders of the teaching flourish and spread,

ཕན་བདེའི་དགེ་མཚན་ཡར་ངོའི་ཟླ་ལྟར་འཕེལ། །

pendé getsen yar ngö da tar pel

Make auspicious signs, of help and happiness, increase like a waxing moon,

ཆོས་མཐུན་བསམ་དོན་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད། །

chö tün samdön yizhin drubpar dzö

And make all our aspirations according to the Dharma be fulfilled, just as we wish!

ཅེས་འབུལ་བར་བྱའོ། །

Reciting this, make the offering.

གཏེར་མིང་ལས་རབ་གླིང་པས་བྲིས་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགེ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག། །།
