༄༅། །མྱུར་འབྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས་ཐུགས་རྗེ་བསྐུལ་བའི་སིལ་སྙན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། །

Cymbals to Invoke a Compassionate Response:

A Prayer for the Swift Rebirth of Khandro Tsering Chödrön

རྒྱལ་ཀུན་འདུས་ཞལ་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྡོ་རྗེ་སོགས། །

gyal kündü shyal tso kyé dorje sok

Lake Born Vajra Padmasambhava,  the very face and embodiment of all the buddhas,

སྐྱབས་གནས་རབ་འབྱམས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ། །

kyabné rabjam gyatsö tsok nam la

With the whole vast, infinite gathering of sources of refuge,

གཡོ་མེད་གདུང་བའི་དབྱངས་ཀྱིས་གསོལ་འདེབས་ན། །

yomé dungwé yang kyi soldeb na

When I call on you, unwavering, in this heartfelt yearning melody, 

སྨོན་པའི་དོན་འདི་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད། །

mönpé dön di yishyin drubpar dzö

Let this prayer of mine come true!

སྣང་སྟོང་དབྱེར་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཁ༵འ་འ༵གྲོའི་གཟུགས། །

nangtong yermé yeshe khandrö zuk

Appearance and emptiness indivisible, the form of the wisdom dakini,

གང་ཚེ༵་རིང༵་ནས་འཁོར་ལོའི་མགོན་པོ་དང་། །

gang tsering né khorlö gönpo dang

Since long ago, you have been inseparable from the lord of the mandala,

གཉིས་མེད་ལྷན་སྐྱེས་གར་གྱི་རོལ་མཛད་པའི། །

nyimé lhenkyé gar gyi rol dzepé

And delighted in the dance of the innate nature,

རྗེ་བཙུན་ཆོས༵་ཀྱི་སྒྲོན༵་མེར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

jetsün chö kyi drönmer solwa deb

Noble lady, “Lamp of Dharma”, to you I pray!

ཉམས་དང་རྟོགས་པའི་འོད་དཀར་དྲ་བའི་དཔྱིད། །

nyam dang tokpé ökar drawé chi

As the fresh, brilliant light fusing experience and realization

ཟབ་ཡངས་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་མཁའ་ལ་བལྟམས་པ་ན། །

zab yang tuk kyi kha la tampa na

Arose in the profound and vast, sky-like expanse of your wisdom mind,

གནས་གསུམ་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་རྒྱུ་སྐར་བཀྲ་བའི་དབུས། །

né sum khandrö gyukar trawé ü

You appeared amidst the bright constellations of the dakinis of the three spheres,

མངོན་པར་མཐོ་ཞིང་བཞུགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

ngönpar to shying shyuk la solwa deb

As the highest, most exalted of all—to you I pray!

དགེ་ལེགས་ཆུ་ཤེལ་ཁམས་ཆེན་ལས་བསྐྲུན་པའི། །

gelek chushel kham chen lé trünpé

Arising from the great elements of virtue and goodness,

ཁྱེད་སྐུ་ཉ་གང་ཟླ་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ཆེ། །

khyé ku nyagang dawé kyilkhor ché

You appeared like the great disc of the full moon,

ལྔ་བདོའི་སྨག་གིས་དགེ་སྣང་བསྒྲིབ་བའི་དུས། །

nga dö mak gi gé nang dribwé dü

Now that the light of virtue is obscured by the darkness of the five degenerations,

གློ་བུར་ཆུ་ལྷར་ཞུད་འདི་ཅི་ཡི་ཚུལ། །

lobur chulha shyü di chi yi tsul

Suddenly, you have set in the west¹—how could this be?

དེ་ཕྱིར་ཌཱཀིའི་མཚན་ལྟས་འོད་ཞགས་ཀྱིས། །

dechir daki tsen té ö shyak kyi

So, with all the radiance of the auspicious signs of a dakini,

འཁྱུད་པའི་ཡང་སྲིད་ཉི་གཞོན་དབང་མོ་གང་། །

khyüpé yangsi nyishyön wangmo gang

May your rebirth swiftly appear, like the new rising sun

བསྟན་འགྲོ་ཤར་རིའི་ཕྲག་པར་མྱུར་འབྱོན་ནས། །

ten dro shar ri trakpar nyur jön né

That dawns over the eastern mountains of the teachings and beings,

དགེ་ལེགས་པདྨོའི་འདབ་སྟོང་གྲོལ་གྱུར་ཅིག །

gelek pemö dab tong drol gyur chik

And makes the thousand petalled lotus of virtue and goodness burst into bloom.

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ཡང་འཇམ་མགོན་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་གསང་ཡུམ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཚེ་རིང་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་དགོངས་པ་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་སུ་ཐིམ་སྐབས། རིག་པ་ཆོས་ཚོགས་ནས་བསྐུལ་མ་མཛད་པ་བཞིན་འཁོན་རིགས་ས་སྐྱ་ཁྲི་འཛིན་ངག་དབང་ཀུན་དགས་དྭངས་བའི་བློས་ཆེད་དུ་སྦྱར་བ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

When the wisdom mind of the secret consort of Jamgön Khyentse Dorje Chang, Khandro Tsering Chödrön, dissolved into the dharmadhatu, I, Sakya Trizin Ngawang Kunga of the Khön family composed this with a clear mind of inspiration, just as the Rigpa Sangha requested. May it come to pass!
