Concise General Torma Offering

༄༅། །རྩ་གསུམ་དམ་ཅན་སྤྱིའི་གཏོར་འབུལ་རྒྱུན་ཁྱེར་སྙིང་པོར་དྲིལ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། །

Concise General Torma Offering to the Three Roots and Dharma Protectors for Daily Use

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་བཛྲ་དྷ་ར་ཡེ།

Namo guru vajradharāya!¹

ཤ་ཆང་གི་དམ་རྫས་གཙོ་བོར་གྱུར་པའི་མཆོད་གཏོར་བཤམས་ལ་བདུད་རྩིས་བྲན། རང་ཉིད་ཡི་དམ་ལྷའི་ང་རྒྱལ་ལ་གནས་པས། རཾ་ཡཾ་ཁཾ་གིས་བསང་སྦྱང་།

Prepare an offering torma containing the principal samaya substances of meat and alcohol and sprinkle it with amṛta. Maintaining the dignity of being the yidam deity, cleanse and purify the offering torma with:

རཾ་ཡཾ་ཁཾ།

ram yam kham

raṃ yaṃ khaṃ

སྟོང་པའི་ངང་ལས་རླུང་མེ་ཐོད་སྒྱེད་སྟེང་། །

tongpé ngang lé lung mé tögyé teng

From within emptiness appear wind, fire, and a hearth of skulls,

བྷནྡྷའི་སྣོད་དུ་ཤ་ལྔ་བདུད་རྩི་ལྔ། །

bhendé nö du sha nga dütsi nga

Upon which sits a skull cup boiling with the five meats and five amṛtas.

བསྐོལ་ཞིང་འོད་ཞུ་ཟག་མེད་བདུད་རྩིའི་བཅུད། །

kol zhing ö zhu zakmé dütsi chü

Melting into light, they become undefiled amṛta,

འདོད་ཡོན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་འཕྲོ་བར་གྱུར། །

döyön gyatsö trinpung trowar gyur

Radiating vast billowing clouds of sensory delights.

Consecrate the offerings with:

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧོཿ ས་བརླབ།

om ah hung ho

oṃ āḥ hūṃ hoḥ

ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ རབ་འབྱམས་སྐུ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནས། །

hung hrih, rabjam ku sum gyalwé zhingkham né

Hūṃ hrīḥ. From the pure realm of the boundless trikāya buddhas,

བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་དང་། །

lama yidam khandro chökyong dang

Gurus, yidams, ḍākinīs, dharmapālas,

གནོད་སྦྱིན་ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་དང་གཞི་ཡི་བདག །

nöjin norlha ter dang zhi yi dak

Yakṣas, wealth gods, treasure- and land-owner deities—

ཐམས་ཅད་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་དབང་གིས་འདིར་གཤེགས་ཤིག །

tamché tukjé wang gi dir shek shik

Out of compassion, please come here!

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་དྷེ་ཝ་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་སརྦ་དྷརྨ་པཱ་ལ་བ་སུ་དེ་བ་ནི་དྷི་པ་ཏི་བྷུ་མི་པ་ཏི་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ ཞེས་པས་སྤྱན་དྲང་།

om ah hung benza guru pema dewa dakini sarva dharma pala basu dewa nidi pati bhumi pati sapariwara benza sama dza

oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra-guru padma deva ḍākinī sarva dharmapāla vasudeva nidhīpati bhūmipati saparivāra vajra samājaḥ

With that, summon them.

ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ ས་མ་ཡ་ཏིཥྠ་ནྟུ། ཞེས་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ།

dza hung ba ho | samaya tishtantu

jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ | samaya tiṣṭhantu

With that, request them to be seated.

ཨ་ཏི་པཱུ་ཧོཿ པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་ཧོཿ

ati pu ho | prati tsa ho

ati-pū hoḥ | pratīccha hoḥ

ཞེས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཞིང་ལན་གནང་བར་བསམ།

With that, pay homage and imagine they respond in turn.

ཧཱུྃ། དངོས་སུ་འབྱོར་དང་ཏིང་འཛིན་ལས་བྱུང་བའི། །

hung, ngö su jor dang tingdzin lé jungwé

Hūṃ. I present the common gifts of sensory delights, amṛta, rakta, torma, and more,

ཉེར་སྤྱོད་འདོད་ཡོན་སྨན་རཀ་གཏོར་ཚོགས་སོགས། །

nyerchö döyön men rak tor tsok sok

Both materially present and conjured by samādhi—

ནམ་མཁའ་རབ་འབྱམས་གང་བའི་མཆོད་པའི་སྤྲིན། །

namkha rabjam gangwé chöpé trin

Cloudbanks of offerings filling the sky’s infinite expanse.

འབུལ་ལོ་བཞེས་ནས་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

bul lo zhé né choktün ngödrub tsol

Accept them, I pray, and grant the supreme and common accomplishments.

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་དྷེ་ཝ་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཤྲཱི་དྷརྨ་པཱ་ལ་བ་སུ་དེ་བ་ནི་དྷི་པ་ཏི་བྷུ་མི་པ་ཏི་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨརྒྷཾ་ནས་ཤཔྡ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། མ་ཧཱ་པཉྩ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་ཁཱ་ཧི། མ་ཧཱ་རཀྟ་ཁཱ་ཧི། ཞེས་སྤྱིར་མཆོད།

om ah hung benza guru pema dewa dakini shiri dharma pala basu dewa nidi pati bhumi pati sapariwara argham padma pupé dhupé aloké gendhé newidya shapda pratitsa soha maha pentsa amrita khahi maha rakta khahi

oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma deva ḍākinī śrī dharmapāla vasudeva nidhīpati bhūmipati saparivāra arghaṃ padyaṃ puṣpe dhūpe āloke gandhe naivedye śabda pratīccha svāhā | mahā pañca amṛta khāhi | mahā rakta khāhi

With that, make general offerings.

བྱེ་བྲག་ཏུ།

For the specific offerings, imagine that:

ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལྗགས་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྦུ་གུའི་འོད་ཟེར་གྱིས་གཏོར་མའི་བཅུད་དྲངས་ཏེ་གསོལ་བར་གྱུར་པར་བསམ་ལ།

lha nam kyi jak dorjé bugü özer gyi tormé chü drang té solwar gyur

With the light rays of the vajra straws that are their tongues, the deities draw in and consume the torma’s essence.

རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐལ་མོ་ཁ་གྱེན་དུ་ཕྱེ་ཞིང་སེ་གོལ་གཏོགས་པ་དང་བཅས།

While joining your vajra palms together to make an open cup and then snapping your fingers, recite the following three or seven times to offer the torma.

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་དྷེ་ཝ་དྷཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་སརྦ་དྷརྨ་པཱ་ལ་བ་སུ་དེ་བ་ནི་དྷི་པ་ཏི་བྷུ་མི་པ་ཏི་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིངྟ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི།

om ah hung benza guru pema dewa dakini sarva dharma pala basu dewa nidhi pati bhumi pati sapariwara idam balingta kha kha khahi khahi

oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma deva ḍākinī sarva dharmapāla vasudeva nidhīpati bhūmipati saparivāra idaṃ baliṃta kha kha khāhi khāhi

ཞེས་ལན་གསུམ་མམ་བདུན་གྱིས་གཏོར་མ་ཕུལ།

ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མ་དང་། །

hung hrih, jinlab trinpung rigdzin lama dang

Hūṃ hrīḥ. Cloud-banks of blessings—vidyādhara gurus,

དངོས་གྲུབ་ཆར་འབེབས་ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ལྷ། །

ngödrub charbeb yidam zhitrö lha

Bringers of rains of accomplishment—peaceful and wrathful yidams,

ཕྲིན་ལས་རྨད་བྱུང་དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ལ། །

trinlé mejung pawo khandro la

Executors of wondrous activities—dākas and ḍākinīs,

གུས་པས་བསྟོད་དོ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

güpé tö do choktün ngödrub tsol

With devotion, I offer you praise! Grant the supreme and common accomplishments!

ཧཱུྃ། བདེ་ཆེན་ཐབས་མཆོག་དཔའ་བོ་ལེགས་ལྡན་ནག །

hung, dechen tab chok pawo lekden nak

Hūṃ. Supreme blissful means, heroic Black Lekden,

ཕྱག་བཞི་དཔལ་མགོན་སྡེ་ལྔ་དབང་ཕྱུག་ཆེ། །

chak zhi palgön dé nga wangchuk ché

Four-Armed Glorious Protector, the Five Classes, Mahādeva,

ཤན་དམར་ཁྱབ་འཇུག་རྡོར་ལེགས་བདུད་མགོན་སོགས། །

shen mar khyabjuk dorlek dügön sok

Red Slayer, Rāhula, Dorje Lekpa, Dügön, and all the rest—

མགོན་པོ་ཕོ་རྒྱུད་ཚོགས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བསྟོད། །

gönpo po gyü tsok la chaktsal tö

To the hordes of male protectors, I offer homage and praise.

ཤེས་རབ་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་རལ་གཅིག་མ། །

sherab ying kyi chakgya ralchikma

Seal of the wisdom expanse, protectress with a single lock of hair,

རང་བྱུང་རྒྱལ་མོ་དུར་ཁྲོད་མ་མོ་དང་། །

rangjung gyalmo durtrö mamo dang

Self-arisen queen, mamos of the charnel grounds,

ཚེ་རིང་མཆེད་ལྔ་གཡུ་སྒྲོན་བརྟན་མ་སོགས། །

tsering ché nga yudrön tenma sok

Five Tseringma sisters, Yudrönma, Tenmas, and all the rest—

སྣང་སྲིད་མ་མོའི་ཚོགས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བསྟོད། །

nangsi mamö tsok la chaktsal tö

To the mamos of appearance and existence, I offer homage and praise.

གཉིས་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་མ་ནིང་སྟོབས་པོ་ཆེ། །

nyimé yeshe maning tobpo ché

Nondual primal wisdom, Mighty Maning,

སྡེ་དཔོན་སུམ་ཅུ་ཕུར་སྲུང་ལྕམ་དྲལ་སོགས། །

depön sumchu pursung chamdral sok

Thirty Chieftains, brother and sister kīla guardians, and so on,

གནོད་སྦྱིན་ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་དང་གཞི་ཡི་བདག །

nöjin norlha ter dang zhi yi dak

Yakṣas, wealth gods, treasure- and land-owner deities—

དཀར་ཕྱོགས་སྐྱོང་བ་ཀུན་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བསྟོད། །

karchok kyongwa kün la chaktsal tö

To all who protect the side of virtue, I offer homage and praise.

སོ་སོའི་ཐུགས་དང་མཐུན་པའི་གཏོར་མ་དང་། །

sosö tuk dang tünpé torma dang

Accept these delightful tormas,

མགོ་རྒུའི་འདོད་ཡོན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་བཞེས་ལ། །

go gü döyön gyatso di zhé la

This ocean of perfect sensory delights.

རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བཀའ་བསྒོས་དམ་བཞག་ལྟར། །

tsa gyü lamé kagö damzhak tar

Just as the root and lineage gurus bound you by oath,

རྣལ་འབྱོར་བདག་ཅག་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་རྣམས་ལ། །

naljor dakchak khor dangché nam la

Aid us practitioners and our retinues:

ཞི་བའི་མཆོག་སྩོལ་རྒྱས་པའི་གཟི་མདངས་སྐྱེད། །

zhiwé chok tsol gyepé zidang kyé

Bestow on us supreme peace, enrich us with the splendour of prosperity,

དབང་གིས་ཟིལ་གནོན་དྲག་པོས་དགྲ་བགེགས་ཐུལ། །

wang gi zilnön drakpö dragek tul

Bring mastery through magnetizing, subdue enemies and obstructors with wrathful means,

བསྟན་འཛིན་ཞབས་བརྟན་བཤད་སྒྲུབ་བསྟན་པ་དར་། །

tendzin zhabten shedrub tenpa dar

Make the pillars of the Dharma live long, cause the study and practice of the teachings to flourish,

འགྲོ་ཀུན་བདེ་སྐྱིད་འཕེལ་བའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛོད། །

dro kün dekyi pelwé trinlé dzö

Enhance the happiness of all beings—fulfil these activities!

ཅེས་བསྟོད་ཅིང་ཕྲིན་ལས་གསོལ།

With that, offer praise and request the activities.

སྐོང་བ་དམིགས་བསལ་དུ་བགྱིད་པ་སྤྲོ་ན།

If you wish to perform a separate fulfilment, say:

ཧཱུྃ། རྔམ་བརྗིད་དུར་ཁྲོད་རོལ་པའི་གཞལ་ཡས་དབུས། །

hung, ngam ji durtrö rolpé zhalyé ü

Hūṃ. In the centre of a fearful charnel-ground palace

དགྲ་བགེགས་བསྒྲལ་བའི་དྲག་པོའི་ཉེར་སྤྱོད་དང་། །

dragek dralwé drakpö nyerchö dang

Are the wrathful offerings of liberated enemies and obstructors,

མཆོད་རྫས་རྟེན་རྫས་སྐོང་རྫས་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྫས། །

chödzé tendzé kong dzé drubpé dzé

And offering, support, fulfilment, and practice substances.

འདོད་རྒུའི་འབྱོར་པ་ཟད་མི་ཤེས་པ་འདིས། །

dögü jorpa zé mishepa di

Through this inexhaustible bounty of every possible delight,

ལེགས་ལྡན་ཕྱག་བཞི་དཔལ་མགོན་སྡེ་ལྔ་དང་། །

lekden chak zhi palgön dé nga dang

May the noble wishes of the hordes of male protectors—

དབང་ཕྱུག་ཤན་དམར་ཁྱབ་འཇུག་བདུད་མགོན་སོགས། །

wangchuk shen mar khyabjuk dügön sok

Lekden, Four-Armed Glorious Protector, the Five Classes,

ཕོ་རྒྱུད་མགོན་པོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་། །

po gyü gönpö tsok kyi tukdam kang

Mahādeva, Red Slayer, Rāhula, Dügön, and the rest—be fulfilled.

རྡོ་རྗེ་སྲིན་པོའི་མཐུ་ཡིས་བདུད་དཔུང་ཐུལ། །

dorjé sinpö tu yi düpung tul

With the might of Vajra Rākṣasa, subdue māra’s hordes!

ཨེ་ཀ་ཛཱ་ཊི་རང་བྱུང་དཔལ་འབར་མ། །

ekadzati rangjung palbar ma

Ekajaṭī, self-arisen Blazing Goddess,

དུར་ཁྲོད་ལྷ་མོ་ཚེ་རིང་མཆེད་ལྔ་སོགས། །

durtrö lhamo tsering ché nga sok

Charnel ground devis, five Tseringma sisters, and all the rest—

སྣང་སྲིད་མ་མོ་བྱེ་བའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་། །

nangsi mamo jewé tukdam kang

May the noble wishes of the mamos of appearance and existence be fulfilled.

ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆགས་པའི་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས་དགྲ་བགེགས་སྒྲོལ། །

tukjé chakpé shuk kyi dragek drol

With the force of your passionate compassion, liberate all obstructors and foes!

དཔལ་མགོན་མ་ནིང་སྡེ་དཔོན་སུམ་ཅུ་དང་། །

palgön maning depön sumchu dang

Glorious Guardian Maning, Thirty Chieftains,

ཕུར་སྲུང་ལྕམ་དྲལ་སྣང་སྲིད་འབྱུང་པོའི་ཚོགས། །

pursung chamdral nangsi jungpö tsok

brother and sister kīla guardians, jungpos of appearance and existence—

དཀར་ཕྱོགས་སྐྱོང་བ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་། །

karchok kyongwa yong kyi tukdam kang

May the noble wishes of those who guard the side of virtue be fulfilled.

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་སྲུང་བསྟན་དགྲ་ཆོམ་ལ་ཕོབ། །

sangye tensung ten dra chom la pob

Protect Buddha’s teachings and crush those who harm them to dust.

རྣམ་སྲས་ཛམ་ལྷ་ཡབ་ཡུམ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་བདག །

namsé dzam lha yabyum tsok kyi dak

Vaiśravaṇa, Jambhala and consort, Gaṇapati,

རྡོ་རྗེ་བདུད་འདུལ་གནོད་སྦྱིན་འབུམ་ཕྲག་དང་། །

dorjé düdul nöjin bumtrak dang

Dorje Düdül, and the millions of yakṣas—

རིན་ཆེན་གཏེར་འཆང་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཐུགས་དམ་བསྐང་། །

rinchen ter chang gyatsö tukdam kang

May the noble wishes of the infinite wealth deities be fulfilled.

ཚེ་སྲིང་དཔལ་སྐྱེད་འདོད་རྒུའི་འབྱོར་པ་སྤེལ། །

tsé sing pal kyé dögü jorpa pel

Foster longevity and splendour, and increase prosperity.

མདོར་ན་བརྒྱུད་གསུམ་རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མ་ཡི། །

dorna gyü sum rigdzin lama yi

In short, dharmapālas and wealth deities who made promises

སྤྱན་སྔར་ཁས་བླངས་ཆོས་སྲུང་ནོར་ལྷའི་ཚོགས། །

chen ngar khelang chösung norlhé tsok

Before the vidyādhara gurus of the three lineages—

ཐུགས་དམ་དགྱེས་བསྐང་རྣལ་འབྱོར་བདག་ཅག་གི །

tukdam gyé kang naljor dakchak gi

May your noble wishes be fulfilled, and may you bring to fruition

རེ་བའི་འབྲས་བུ་དུས་འདིར་མཆིས་པར་མཛོད། །

rewé drebu dü dir chipar dzö

The hopes of us practitioners, right here and now.

ཅེས་དང་། ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སྒོས་ཀྱི་བསྐང་གསོལ་གཞན་སྦྱར་བར་འདོད་ན་ཡང་འདིར་བྱ། མཐར་འབུལ་གཏོར་ལ་བདུད་རྩིས་བྲན་ཅིང་།

If you wish to insert fulfilments and petitions for specific Dharma protectors, you may do so here. Then, sprinkle amṛta on the offering torma, and envision that:

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧོཿ

oṃ āḥ hūṃ hoḥ

གཏོར་མ་དགྲ་བགེགས་ཀྱི་ཤ་ཁྲག་ཡེ་ཤེས་བདུད་རྩིའི་རང་བཞིན་འདོད་ཡོན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་འཕྲོ་བར་གྱུར་པར་བསམས་ལ།

torma dragek kyi sha trak yeshe dütsi rangzhin döyön gyatsö trinpung trowar gyur

The torma of enemies’ and obstructors’ flesh and blood becomes vast cloud banks of sensory delights, the nature of wisdom amṛta.

ཧཱུྃ། བདེ་ཆེན་ཐབས་མཆོག་མགོན་པོ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ །

hung, dechen tab chok gönpo heruka

Hūṃ. Lord Heruka, supreme blissful means,

ཤེས་རབ་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་ཐིག་ལེ་རལ་གཅིག་མ། །

sherab ying kyi tiklé ralchikma

Ekajaṭī, sphere of the wisdom expanse,

ཟུང་འཇུག་དབུ་མར་ཤར་བའི་མ་ནིང་ནག །

zungjuk umar sharwé maning nak

Black Maning, dawning in the central channel of union—

རྒྱུད་གསུམ་དྲེགས་ཚོགས་འཁོར་བཅས་འདིར་གཤེགས་ཤིག །

gyü sum drek tsokkhor ché dir shek shik

Drekpas of the three classes, along with your retinues, hasten here!

དགྲ་བགེགས་ཤ་རི་ཁྲག་མཚོའི་གཏོར་མ་ནི། །

dragek sha ri trak tsö torma ni

This torma, a mountain of enemies’ and obstructors’ bones, an ocean of their blood,

ཡེ་ཤེས་བདུད་རྩིའི་རང་བཞིན་འདོད་ཡོན་གཏེར། །

yeshe dütsi rangzhin döyön ter

Is a treasury of sensory delights, the nature of wisdom amṛta,

དགྱེས་རྒུར་འཆར་བའི་རྨད་བྱུང་མཆོད་པའི་སྤྲིན། །

gyé gur charwé mejung chöpé trin

Appearing as wondrous offering clouds of every possible delight.

སྔར་མཛད་ལེགས་པའི་གཏང་རག་ཆེན་པོར་འབུལ། །

ngar dzé lekpé tangrak chenpor bul

I present it in deep thanksgiving for your past noble deeds.

ད་བཅོལ་ལས་ཀྱི་གསལ་འདེབས་གཉེན་པོར་བཞེས། །

da chol lé kyi sal deb nyenpor zhé

Accept it as an entreaty to perform the activities now entrusted to you.

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་སྲུང་བསྟན་འཛིན་སྐུ་ཚེ་སྲིངས། །

sangye tensung tendzin kutsé sing

Protect Buddha’s teachings, extend the lifespan of the Dharma holders,

དགེ་འདུན་སྡེ་སྐྱོང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཕན་བདེ་སྤེལ། །

gendün dé kyong jikten pendé pel

Watch over the saṅgha, and foster bliss and benefit throughout the world.

ཁྱད་པར་བདག་ཅག་དཔོན་སློབ་ཡོན་མཆོད་ལ། །

khyepar dakchak pönlob yönchö la

Most especially, for us teachers, disciples, and patrons,

བྱང་ཆུབ་བར་དུ་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་མི་གཡེལ་བར། །

changchub bardu sung kyob mi yelwar

Until we reach awakening, protect us without fail.

འགལ་རྐྱེན་ཀུན་སོལ་མཐུན་རྐྱེན་ཆར་བཞིན་ཕོབ། །

galkyen kün sol tünkyen char zhin pob

Dispel all adversity. Shower down favourable conditions like rain.

ཞི་རྒྱས་དབང་དང་མངོན་སྤྱོད་ལ་སོགས་པ། །

zhi gyé wang dang ngönchö lasokpa

Pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, subjugating—

གང་བཅོལ་ཕྲིན་ལས་མྱུར་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད། །

gang chol trinlé nyurdu drubpar dzö

Swiftly accomplish whatever activities we entrust to you!

ཅེས་སྤོས་དང་རོལ་མོའི་མཚོན་པས་གཙང་སར་ཕུལ། མགྲོན་ཡེ་ཤེས་པ་རྣམས་རྟེན་ཡོད་ན་བརྟན་བཞུགས་དང་། མེད་ན་གཤེགས་སུ་གསོལ། འཇིག་རྟེན་པ་རྣམས། གཙྪ་གཙྪ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ནཱཾ་གྱིས་རང་གནས་སུ་བཏང་།

Recite that, and accompanied by incense and music, offer the torma in a clean place. Request the wisdom beings to remain in the supports, or, if you do not have any supports, request them to depart. Send the worldly beings back to their abodes with:

གཙྪ་གཙྪ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ནཱཾ།

gatsa gatsa sobhava nam

gaccha gaccha svabhāvanām

དགེ་བ་བསྔོ་ཞིང་ཤིས་པ་བརྗོད་པས་བདེ་ལེགས་སུ་བྱའོ། །

Conclude by dedicating the merit and reciting prayers for auspiciousness, thus fostering bliss and excellence.

As a convenient daily torma rite for myself and others, this was compiled from the works of the accomplished vidyādharas and arranged by Jikdral Yeshe Dorje. Jayantu!
