༁ྃ༔ ཕུར་པ་ཡང་ཟབ་སྙིང་པོ་ལས༔ གསོལ་འདེབས་བྱིན་རླབས་ཆར་འབེབས་བཞུགས་སོ༔

The Falling Rain of Blessings: A Prayer of Inspiration

from Lerab Lingpa’s revelation ‘The Deepest Heart-Essence of Vajrakīlaya’ (Purba Yang Zab Nyingpo)

 

རྩ་བ་གསུམ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ༔

Homage to Guru, Yidam and Ḍākinī!

བླ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་པ་ནི༔

Pray to the Guru:

ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཧཱུྂ་ཕཊ༔

om benza kili kilaya hung pé

oṃ vajra kīli kīlaya hūṃ phaṭ

རང་ཡི་དམ་གྱི་སྐུར་གསལ་བའི་སྤྱི་བོར་བླ་མ་ཀུན་འདུས་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་ཡབ་ཡུམ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བསྒོམ་ལ༔

I visualize myself as the yidam deity, and above my head Guru Padmākara with consort, embodying all the masters, and actually present in person.

ན་མོ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ༔

namo, sangye tamché kyi ngowo

Namo! Essence of all Buddhas,

ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ༔

chö tamché kyi dakpo

Master of all Dharma,

བྱིན་རླབས་ཀུན་གྱི་འབྱུང་གནས་

jinlab kün gyi jungné

Source of all blessings,

བླ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ༔

lama la solwa deb so

To the guru I pray!

ལུས་ལ་སྐུ་ཡི་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས་ཤིག༔

lü la ku yi jingyi lob shik

Bless my body with your wisdom body,

ངག་ལ་གསུང་གི་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས་ཤིག༔

ngak la sung gi jingyi lob shik

Bless my speech with your wisdom speech,

ཡིད་ལ་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས་ཤིག༔

yi la tuk kyi jingyi lob shik

Bless my mind with your wisdom mind,

ནམ་ཞིག་བྱང་ཆུབ་མ་ཐོབ་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་གཟིགས་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ༔

nam zhik changchub ma tob kyi bardu tukjé zik la jingyi lab tu sol

Until I attain enlightenment, look on me with your compassion, inspire me with your blessing!

Three times

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྂ༔ ཆོས་སྐུ་སྐྱེ་བ་མེད་པ་དོན་གྱི་སྐུ༔

om ah hung, chöku kyewa mepa dön gyi ku

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! Unborn is the dharmakāya, the body of truth and meaning;

ལོངས་སྐུ་འགགས་པ་མེད་པ་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ༔

longku gakpa mepa lhün gyi drub

Unceasing is the sambhogakāya, spontaneous perfection;

སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་ཐོག་པ་མེད་པས་འགྲོ་དོན་མཛད༔

tulku tokpa mepé dro dön dzé

Unobstructed is the nirmāṇakāya, accomplishing the benefit of beings;

ཡོན་ཏན་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་རང་ལ་རྫོགས༔

yönten pak tu mepa rang la dzok

Unlimited are the noble buddha qualities, all perfect in you;

ཕྲིན་ལས་རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པས་འགྲོ་བ་འདྲེན༔

trinlé gyün ché mepé drowa dren

Uninterrupted is your enlightened activity, guiding sentient beings!

བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་དང་༔

lama yidam khandro chökyong dang

Gurus, yidams, ḍākinīs, dharmapālas,

དཔའ་བོ་དཔའ་མོ་ཀུན་གྱི་བདག་ཉིད་ནི༔

pawo pamo kün gyi daknyi ni

Vīras, and vīriṇīs—you are the embodiment of all:

རྗེ་བཙུན་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་དངོས༔

jetsün chenpo pema jungné ngö

Great and noble Padmākara, here in person,

སྐྱབས་དང་རེ་ས་ཁྱེད་ལས་མ་མཆིས་པས༔

kyab dang resa khyé lé machipé

I have no other refuge, no other hope but you;

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ༔

solwa deb so orgyen rinpoche

So to you I pray, Orgyen Rinpoche—

ཐུགས་རྗེས་འབྲལ་བ་མེད་པར་བཟུང་དུ་གསོལ༔

tukjé dralwa mepar zung du sol

Hold me with your compassion, without ever parting!

དངོས་གྲུབ་ཐོག་པ་མེད་པར་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ༔

ngödrub tokpa mepar tsal du sol

Grant me the attainments in my practice, without any obstacle!

ཕྲིན་ལས་འབད་མེད་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ༔

trinlé bemé drubpar dzé du sol

Carry out your enlightened activity, always without any effort!

ན་མོ་བདག་ནི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མཆོག་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དེ༔

namo dak ni changchub chok tu semkyé dé

Namo! I awaken the heart of the enlightened mind, the bodhicitta;

རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕུར་པ་གསང་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་དུ༔

dorje purpa sangwé kyilkhor du

In this secret maṇḍala of Vajrakumāra

ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་བཞིན་རྗེས་སུ་བསྒྲུབ་ལགས་ན༔

khyé kyi ka zhin jesu drub lak na

I shall practise exactly according to your teachings!

སྒྲུབ་ལ་བར་ཆད་མེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས༔

drub la barché mepar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing so there be no obstacles to my practice!

དངོས་གྲུབ་རྣམ་གཉིས་ཐོབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས༔

ngödrub nam nyi tobpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessings so I obtain the siddhis, ordinary and supreme!

བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཕ་ལ་ཧཱུྂ་ཨཱཿ ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ར་ཙ་ཧྲི་ཡ་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྂ༔

benza guru pema heruka sarva siddhi pala hung ah harinisa ratsa hri ya sarva siddhi hung

vajra guru padma heruka sarva siddhi pala hūṃ āḥ harinisa ratsa hri ya sarva siddhi hūṃ

འཁོར་གྱི་ལས་བྱེད་དཔའ་བོ་དཔའ་མོ་དང་༔

khor gyi lejé pawo pamo dang

May all of you in the retinue: deities who carry out actions, vīras and vīriṇīs,

རིག་འཛིན་མཁའ་འགྲོ་འབུམ་ཕྲག་མང་པོ་རྣམས༔

rigdzin khandro bumtrak mangpo nam

Vidyādharas, and ḍākinīs in their hundreds of thousands,

མོས་པའི་བུ་ལ་བརྩེ་བའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས༔

möpé bu la tsewé tuk kyi gong

Look upon me, this child of devotion, with the love of your wisdom mind,

རྟག་ཏུ་འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས༔

taktu dudral mepar jingyi lob

And let your blessings inspire my mind, inspire my heart, without any end!

ཧཱུྂ་ཧཱུྂ་ཧཱུྂ༔

hung hung hung

Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ

ཞེས་བརྗོད་ལ་རིག་པ་ངར་བསྐྱེད་དོ༔ བྱིན་རླབས་ཆེ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ༔ ས་མ་ཡ༔ སློབ་དཔོན་བཀའ་བཞིན་མཚོ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས༔ བྲིས་ཏེ་ཕྱི་རབས་དོན་དུ་བཞག༔ ལས་ཅན་རྣམས་དང་འདི་འཕྲད་ཤོག༔

As you recite this, arouse and sharpen your rigpa. The blessing of this is immense. Samaya! According to the master’s instructions Tsogyal wrote this down, to benefit future generations. Let all those who have the karmic connection meet with it!

གཏེར་རྒྱ༔ སྦས་རྒྱ༔ ཟབ་རྒྱ༔
