The Constant Stream of Nectar Prayer

དངོས་གྲུབ་མ་ལུས་འབྱུང་བའི་གནས། །

ngödrub malü jungwé né

Sources of each and every form of attainment,

བྱིན་རླབས་བདུད་རྩིའི་སྤྲིན་འཁྲིགས་པའི། །

jinlab dütsi trin trikpé

In whom clouds of nectarous blessings amass—

བླ་མ་ཀུན་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །

lama kün la kyab su chi

All you gurus, in you I take refuge:

ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས་སུ་གསོལ། །

tukjé chen gyi zik su sol

Look upon me with your compassionate gaze.

 

རྣམ་དག་ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

namdak chökü podrang du

To Samantabhadra and consort, who are within

ཀུན་བཟང་ཡབ་ཡུམ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

kunzang yabyum la solwa deb

The dharmakāya palace of utter purity, I pray:

གདོད་ནས་གཞི་རྩ་བྲལ་བ་ཡིས། །

döné zhi tsa dralwa yi

Grant your blessings, that I may realize

སེམས་ཉིད་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

semnyi tokpar jingyi lob

The primordially groundless, sourceless mind-as-such.

 

འོད་གསལ་ལོངས་སྐུའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

ösal longkü podrang du

To the infinite peaceful and wrathful ones

ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

zhitro rabjam la solwa deb

Within the sambhogakāya palace of clear light, I pray:

ཡེ་ནས་སྟོང་གསལ་དག་པའི་སྐུ། །

yené tong sal dakpé ku

Grant your blessings, that I may spontaneously realize

ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

lhündrub tokpar jingyi lob

The primordially empty yet clear kāya of purity.

 

ཀུན་ཁྱབ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

künkhyab tulkü podrang du

To Vajradhara in the all-pervasive palace

རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dorjé chang la solwa deb

Of the nirmāṇakāya, I pray:

འགགས་མེད་ཐུགས་རྗེ་རོལ་པ་ཡིས། །

gakmé tukjé rolpa yi

Grant your blessings, that I may secure others’ benefit

གཞན་དོན་རྫོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

zhendön dzokpar jingyi lob

Through the unceasing display of compassion.

 

གསལ་སྟོང་འོད་ལྔའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

saltong ö ngé podrang du

To Vajrasattva in the palace of the five-coloured light

རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dorjé sempa la solwa deb

Of clarity and emptiness, I pray:

གསལ་སྣང་འོད་གསལ་ཞིང་ཁམས་དེ། །

sal nangö sal zhingkham dé

Grant your blessings, that I may swiftly master

མྱུར་དུ་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

nyurdu jongpar jingyi lob

The realm of clear, luminous appearance.

 

ལྷུན་རྫོགས་བརྗོད་མེད་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

lhün dzok jömé podrang du

To Vajrapāṇi in the palace

ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

chak na dorjé la solwa deb

Of spontaneous perfection beyond expression, I pray:

ཉོན་མོངས་བདུད་དཔུང་བར་ཆད་དང་། །

nyönmong düpung barché dang

Grant your blessings, that I may avert afflictions,

རྐྱེན་ངན་བཟློག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

kyen ngen dokpar jingyi lob

The hordes of māras, obstacles and adversity.

 

འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

dudral mepé podrang du

To Garab Dorje in the palace

དགའ་རབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

garab dorjé la solwa deb

Beyond union and separation, I pray:

གདོས་བཅས་སྒྱུ་ལུས་ཕུང་པོ་འདི། ། །

dö ché gyulü pungpo di

Grant your blessings, that this illusory, material form

འོད་ལུས་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

ö lü dakpar jingyi lob

May be purified into a body of light.

 

མུ་བཞི་གདལ་བའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

mu zhi dalwé podrang du

To Mañjuśrīmitra in the expansive palace

འཇམ་དཔལ་བཤེས་གཉེན་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

jampal shenyen la solwa deb

Beyond the four extremes, I pray:

ཕྱི་ནང་གཟུང་འཛིན་རིག་པ་འདི། །

chinang zungdzin rigpa di

Grant your blessings, that this awareness

རང་སར་གྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rang sar drolwar jingyi lob

Of outer and inner, perceiver and perceived, may be liberated in its own place.

 

བླང་དོར་མེད་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

langdor mepé podrang du

To Śrī Siṃha in the palace

ཤྲཱི་སིང་ཧ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

shrising hala solwa deb

Beyond acceptance and rejection, I pray:

གཏད་མེད་རང་ཤར་རིག་པ་འདི། །

temé rangshar rigpa di

Grant your blessings, that this naturally arising awareness

འཛིན་མེད་ཆེན་པོར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dzinmé chenpor jingyi lob

Without reference point may become the great absence of fixation.

 

རང་གསལ་གདལ་བའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། ། །

rangsal dalwé podrang du

To Jñānasūtra in the palace

ཛྙཱ་ན་སཱུ་ཏྲ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

jnana su tra la solwa deb

Of expansive and natural clarity, I pray:

ཀུན་ཁྱབ་གཞི་རྫོགས་ལྟ་བ་ཉིད། །

künkhyab zhi dzok tawa nyi

Grant your blessings, that the view of the all-pervasive, perfect ground

མ་བཙལ་རང་རྫོགས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

ma tsal rang dzok jingyi lob

May be realized spontaneously without searching.

 

མཁྱེན་རབ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

khyen rab yeshe podrang du

To Vimalamitra in the palace

དྲི་མེད་བཤེས་གཉེན་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

drimé shenyen la solwa deb

Of perfect knowledge and wisdom, I pray:

རང་བབས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་བསྒོམ་པ་ཉིད། །

rangbab lhündrub gompa nyi

Grant your blessings, that the meditation of natural, spontaneous presence

མ་བཙལ་རྫོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

ma tsal dzokpar jingyi lob

May be perfected without searching.

 

རང་བཞིན་དག་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

rangzhin dakpé podrang du

To Tingdzin Zangpo in the palace

ཏིང་འཛིན་བཟང་པོ་ལ་གསོལ་འདེབས། །

tingdzin zangpo la soldeb

Of natural purity, I pray:

ཏིང་འཛིན་འོད་གསལ་ཉི་ཟླ་ཉིད། །

tingdzin ösal nyida nyi

Grant your blessings, that the sun and moon

གསལ་འགྲིབ་མེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

sal drib mepar jingyi lob

Of clear-light samādhi may never waver in intensity.

 

ཚོགས་ཆེན་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

tsokchen yongdzok podrang du

To the sublime Chögyal in the palace

ཆོས་རྒྱལ་མཆོག་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

chögyal chok la solwa deb

Of the completion of vast accumulation, I pray:

བསམ་རྫོགས་ཆོས་སྐུའི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ལ། །

sam dzok chökü gyalsi la

Grant your blessings, that all beings may dwell

འགྲོ་ཀུན་གནས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dro kün nepar jingyi lob

In the kingdom of dharmakāya, perfect in every conceivable way.

 

སྙིང་པོ་ལྷུན་འབྱམས་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

nyingpo lhün jam podrang du

To Dangma Lhungyal in the palace

ལྡང་མ་ལྷུན་རྒྱལ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dang ma lhün gyal la solwa deb

Of the heart-essence, spontaneous and vast, I pray:

སྒྲིབ་བྲལ་ཅོག་བཞག་དགོངས་པ་ཉིད། །

dribdral chok zhak gongpa nyi

Grant your blessings, that I may realize the great perfection,

ཡོངས་རྫོགས་ཆེན་པོར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། །

yongdzok chenpor jingyi lob

The wisdom mind that is just as it is, free from obscuration.

 

འོད་ལུས་དག་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

ö lü dakpé podrang du

To Sengé Wangchuk in the palace

སེང་གེ་དབང་ཕྱུག་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

sengé wangchuk la solwa deb

Of the pure body of light, I pray:

ལུས་སེམས་སྲིད་པའི་འཆིང་བ་ལས། །

lü sem sipé chingwa lé

Grant your blessings, that I may liberate body and mind

ཚེ་འདིར་གྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

tsé dir drolwar jingyi lob

From the bonds of conditioned existence within this very life.

 

གཞི་ཀློང་ཀུན་གྲོལ་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

zhi long kün drol podrang du

To Gyalwa Zhangtön in the palace

རྒྱལ་བ་ཞང་སྟོན་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

gyalwa zhang tön la solwa deb

Of the ground expanse of universal freedom, I pray:

གཉིས་འཛིན་འཁྲུལ་པའི་རི་བོ་འདི། །

nyidzin trulpé riwo di

Grant your blessings, that I may destroy

རང་སར་ཞིག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rang sar zhikpar jingyi lob

This mountain of dualistic delusion in its own place.

 

སྣ་ཚོགས་ཡོན་ཏན་གྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

natsok yönten gyi podrang du

To Khepa Nyibum in the palace

མཁས་པ་ཉི་འབུམ་ལ་གསོལ་འདེབས། །

khepa nyi bum la soldeb

Of manifold qualities, I pray:

ཚིག་དོན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བདུད་རྩི་ཡིས། །

tsikdön chö kyi dütsi yi

Grant your blessings, that I may purify

བདག་རྒྱུད་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dak gyü dakpar jingyi lob

My mind-stream with the nectar of Dharma—words and meaning.

 

གསལ་སྟོང་ཉི་ཟླའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

saltong nyidé podrang du

To Guru Jober in the palace

གུ་རུ་ཇོ་འབེར་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

guru jo ber la solwa deb

Of the empty radiance of the sun and moon, I pray:

འཆི་བ་རྗེས་དྲན་བསྐུལ་མ་ཡིས། །

chiwa jedren kulma yi

Grant your blessings, that I may accomplish the sacred Dharma,

དམ་ཆོས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

damchö drubpar jingyi lob

Spurred on by the recollection of mortality.

 

གཟུང་འཛིན་རང་གྲོལ་གྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

zungdzin rangdrol gyi podrang du

To the great Trulshik¹ in the palace

འཁྲུལ་ཞིག་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

trulzhik chenpo la solwa deb

Of self-liberated dualistic perception, I pray:

སྣ་ཚོགས་འཁྲུལ་བའི་བག་ཆགས་སྤྲིན། །

natsok trulwé bakchak trin

Grant your blessings, that the clouds

རང་སར་དེངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rang sar dengpar jingyi lob

Of habitual delusion in varied forms may dissolve in their own place.

 

རྩོལ་བྲལ་ཉག་གཅིག་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

tsoldral nyakchik podrang du

To Dawa Munsel in the palace

ཟླ་བ་མུན་སེལ་ལ་གསོལ་འདེབས། །

dawa münsel la soldeb

Of wholeness beyond effort, I pray:

བྱར་མེད་རང་བབས་གནས་ལུགས་ལ། །

jarmé rangbab neluk la

Grant your blessings, that I may discover great self-abiding

རང་གནས་ཆེན་པོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rangné chenpo jingyi lob

In the natural state, spontaneously settled without the need for action.

 

རྟོགས་པ་ནམ་མཁའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

tokpa namkhé podrang du

To Kumārādza in the palace

ཀུ་མ་རཱ་ཛ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

ku ma radza la solwa deb

Of sky-like realization, I pray:

ཕྱོགས་མེད་རི་ཁྲོད་དབེན་གནས་སུ། །

chokmé ritrö wenné su

Grant your blessings, that I may recognize

རང་ངོ་ཤེས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rang ngoshepar jingyi lob

My own true nature in isolated retreats without fixed abode.

 

ཡེ་གྲོལ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

yedrol chönyi podrang du

To Drimé Özer in the palace

དྲི་མེད་འོད་ཟེར་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

drimé özer la solwa deb

Of dharmatā, free from the beginning, I pray:

ཡངས་དོག་མེད་པའི་རིག་པ་འདི། །

yangdok mepé rigpa di

Grant your blessings, that I may realize

ཕྱོགས་ལྷུང་བྲལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

choklhung dralwar jingyi lob

This dimensionless awareness, free from limitations.

 

རང་སེམས་དད་མོས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

rangsem dé mö kyi podrang du

To the root guru in the palace

རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

tsawé lama la solwa deb

Of my own mind’s faith and devotion, I pray:

བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཆུ་རྒྱུན་གྱིས། །

jinlab ngödrub chugyün gyi

Grant your blessings, that my mind may be filled

བདག་རྒྱུད་གང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། །

dak gyü gangwar jingyi lob

With a constant stream of blessings and attainments.

 

ལུས་དག་པ་ལྷ་ཡི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

lü dakpa lha yi podrang du

To the infinite peaceful and wrathful ones in the palace

ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

zhitro rabjam la solwa deb

Of the pure body as deity, I pray:

རང་གདངས་འོད་ཀྱི་སྒྲོན་མེ་ཡིས། །

rang dang ö kyi drönmé yi

Bless me, that I may realize

རང་གསལ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

rangsal tokpar jingyi lob

Natural clarity with the lamp of self-radiant luminosity.

 

ངག་དག་པ་སྔགས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

ngak dakpa ngak kyi podrang du

To the channel-based chakras in the palace

རྩ་གནས་འཁོར་ལོ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

tsa né khorlo la solwa deb

Of the pure speech as mantra, I pray:

སྣ་ཚོགས་ཐེག་པའི་རང་སྒྲ་ཡིས། །

natsok tekpé rangdra yi

Bless me, that I may ripen the six classes of beings

འགྲོ་དྲུག་སྨིན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dro druk minpar jingyi lob

With the spontaneous resounding of various yānas.

 

སེམས་དག་པ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །

sem dakpa chökü podrang du

To the wisdom of the perfect ground in the palace

གཞི་རྫོགས་ཐུགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

zhi dzok tuk la solwa deb

Of the pure mind as dharmakāya, I pray:

རང་བཞིན་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་དགོངས་པ་དེ། །

rangzhin lhündrub kyi gongpa dé

Bless me, that the realization of natural, spontaneous presence

ནང་ནས་འཆར་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

nang né charwar jingyi lob

May dawn from within.

 

དེ་ལྟར་བླ་མའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ། །

detar lamé tsok nam la

Inspired physically, vocally and mentally, I pay homage

སྒོ་གསུམ་དང་བས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

go sum dangwé chaktsal lo

To the hosts of gurus in this way.

མཆོད་པའི་སྤྲིན་གྱི་ཕུང་པོ་མཆོད། །

chöpé trin gyi pungpo chö

I present billowing clouds of offerings.

སྡིག་པའི་ཚོགས་ཀུན་རབ་བཤགས་ཏེ། །

dikpé tsok kün rab shak té

I confess the full extent of my harmful deeds.

དགེ་བ་ཀུན་ལ་རྗེས་ཡི་རང་། །

gewa kün la jé yi rang

I rejoice in every form of virtue.

ཆོས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་བསྐོར་བ་དང་། །

chö kyi khorlo korwa dang

I request the turning of the Wheel of Dharma.

མྱ་ངན་མི་འདའ་རྟག་བཞུགས་ནས། །

nya ngen mi da tak zhuk né

I beseech you to remain forever without passing into nirvāṇa

ཐུགས་རྗེས་སྤྱན་གྱིས་དགོངས་སུ་གསོལ། །

tukjé chen gyi gong su sol

And to look upon me with your compassionate gaze.

 

ལས་ངན་སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

lé ngen dikdrib dakpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may purify negative actions, misdeeds, and obscurations.

རྐྱེན་ངན་གྲོགས་སུ་འཆར་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

kyen ngen drok su charwar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may experience adversity as an ally.

འཁོར་བའི་ཞེན་པ་བཟློག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

khorwé zhenpa dokpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may dispel attachment to cyclic existence.

སྐྱོ་ཤས་གཏིང་ནས་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

kyoshé tingné kyewar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may feel a deep sense of disenchantment.

ཅི་བསམ་ཆོས་སུ་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

chi sam chö su drubpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that all my thoughts may involve the Dharma.

ཆོས་ཕྱོགས་དཀའ་སྤྱད་ནུས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

chö chok kaché nüpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may bear hardship for the Dharma’s sake.

སྣང་བ་ཆོས་སྐུར་འཆར་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

nangwa chökur charwar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that appearances may arise as dharmakāya.

ཆོས་ཉིད་ཟད་སར་འཁྱོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

chönyi zé sar khyolwar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that I may reach the stage of exhaustion into dharmatā.

གཞན་དོན་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

zhendön lhün gyi drubpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that others' welfare may be spontaneously accomplished.

མཐོང་ཐོས་བདེ་ལ་འགོད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

tong tö dé la göpar jingyi lob

Grant your blessing, that all who see or hear me may be brought to bliss.

མདོར་ན་ཅི་བསམ་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dorna chi sam drubpar jingyi lob

In brief, grant your blessing, that I may accomplish whatever I wish.

 

གསོལ་འདེབས་བདུད་རྩིའི་ཆུ་རྒྱུན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ། དཔལ་ཀུ་མ་རཱ་ཛའི་ཞབས་ཀྱི་པདྨོ་དྲི་མ་མེད་པ་ལ་གཏུགས་ཤིང་། ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་བཟུང་བའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་བྱར་མེད་ཀློང་ཡངས་ཀྱིས། མཆིམས་ཕུ་དཔལ་གྱི་ནགས་ཁྲོད། རང་བྱུང་པདྨའི་བཞུགས་གནས་སུ་སྦྱར་བ་རྫོགས་སོ།། །།དགེའོ། །དགེའོ། །དགེའོ།། །།

This concludes the prayer, entitled The Constant Stream of Nectar, which was composed by the yogin of the vast expanse of non-action, who touched the unblemished lotus feet of the glorious Kumārādza and was held in his care, in the glorious hermitage of Chimphu, residence of the self-arisen Padma. Let it be virtuous! Virtuous! Virtuous!
