༄༅། །མར་མེའི་སྨོན་ལམ་བཞུགས་སོ།།

Light-Offering Aspiration Prayer

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།

om ah hung

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ

མར་མེའི་འོད་སྣང་འཇའ་འོད་དུ། །

marmé ö nang ja ö du

May the light of this lamp become rainbow light,

གྱུར་པས་གནམ་ས་བར་སྣང་ཁྱབ། །

gyurpé nam sa bar nang khyab

Filling the sky, the earth and the space between,

ནང་ནས་མཆོད་པའི་ལྷ་མོ་དང་། །

nang né chöpé lhamo dang

And from this light may offering goddesses emerge,

གང་འདོད་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་འབྱུང་གྱུར་ཅིག །

gang dö longchö jung gyur chik

Together with desirable gifts and sensory delights.

བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ། །

lama yidam könchok sum

To the guru, chosen deities, and the Three Jewels,

མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ཚོགས་བཅས་ལ། །

khandro chökyong tsok ché la

And also the hosts of ḍākinīs and dharma-protectors,

དངོས་འབྱོར་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་སྤྲུལ་པ་ཡི། །

ngö jor yi kyi trulpa yi

I offer this lamp of the brilliant, clear appearance

སྣང་གསལ་མར་མེ་འདི་འབུལ་ལོ། །

nang sal marmé di bul lo

Of real gifts and those imagined by the mind.

མར་མེ་ཕུལ་བའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱིས། །

marmé pulwé sönam kyi

Through the merit of offering this light,

མ་རིག་མུན་པ་སངས་བར་ཤོག །

marik münpa sangwar shok

May the darkness of ignorance be dispelled!

ལས་ངན་སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་དག་པར་ཤོག །

lé ngen dik drip dakpar shok

May misdeeds, harms and obscurations all be purified!

རྐྱེན་ངན་བར་ཆད་ཞི་བར་ཤོག །

kyen ngen barché zhiwar shok

May adversity and obstacles be overcome!

ཚེ་དང་བསོད་ནམས་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

tsé dang sönam bar gyur chik

May my life-force and merit blaze forth!

ཉམས་རྟོགས་ཡོན་ཏན་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

nyam tok yönten bar gyur chik

May my qualities of experience and realization blaze forth!

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་པ་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

sangyé tenpa bar gyur chik

May the Buddhist teachings long remain ablaze!

འགྲོ་ལ་བདེ་སྐྱིད་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

dro la dekyi bar gyur chik

And may happiness and well-being blaze throughout the world!

ཅེས་མར་མེའི་སྨོན་ལམ་འདི་ནི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ཞབས་དཀར་བས་སྦྱར་བའོ། །སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།། །།
