སྤྱི་བོར་པད་དཀར་ཟླ་སྟེང་དུ། །

chiwor pekar da tengdu

Above my head, on a white lotus and moon,

བླ་མ་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་བཞུགས། །

lama dorjé sempa zhuk

Sits the guru Vajrasattva.

སྐུ་ལས་བདུད་རྩིའི་ཆུ་རྒྱུན་འབབས། །

ku lé dütsi chu gyün bab

From his body flows a stream of nectar

རང་གི་སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་དག་པར་གྱུར། །

rang gi dikdrib dakpar gyur

That purifies my misdeeds and obscurations.

ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ས་མ་ཡ༔ མ་ནུ་པཱ་ལ་ཡ༔ བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཏྭེ་ནོ་པ་ཏིཥྛ་དྲྀ་ཌྷོ་མེ་བྷ་ཝ༔ སུ་ཏོ་ཥྱོ་མེ་བྷ་ཝ༔ སུ་པོ་ཥྱོ་མེ་བྷ་ཝ༔ ཨ་ནུ་རཀྟོ་མེ་བྷ་ཝ༔ སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་མྨེ་པྲ་ཡཙྪ༔ སརྦ་ཀརྨ་སུ་ཙ་མེ༔ ཙིཏྟཾ་ཤྲེ་ཡཾཿ ཀུ་རུ་ཧཱུྂ༔ ཧ་ཧ་ཧ་ཧ་ཧོཿ བྷ་ག་ཝཱན༔ སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་བཛྲ་མཱ་མེ་མུཉྩ་བཛྲཱི་བྷ་ཝ་མ་ཧཱ་ས་མ་ཡ་སཏྭ་ཨཱཿ

om benza sato samaya | manupalaya | benza sato tenopa tishta dridho mé bhava | sutokhayo mé bhava | supokhayo mé bhava | anurakto mé bhava | sarva siddhi mé prayaccha | sarva karma su tsa mé | tsittam shreyang | kuru hung | ha ha ha ha ho | bhagavan | sarva tatagata benza ma mé muntsa benzi bhava maha samaya sato ah

oṃ vajrasattva samayam anupālaya vajrasattva-tvenopa-tiṣṭha dṛḍho me bhava sutoṣyo me bhava supoṣyo me bhava anurakto me bhava sarva-siddhiṃ me prayaccha sarva-karma śuca me cittaṃ śreyaṅ-kuru hūṃ ha ha ha ha hoḥ bhagavān sarva-tathāgata-vajra mā me muñca vajrī-bhava mahā-samaya-sattva āḥ

ཞེས་ཡིག་བརྒྱ་བཟླས་མཐར།

Recite this hundred-syllable mantra. Then, at the end, continue with:

རྡོར་སེམས་འོད་ཞུ་རང་ལ་ཐིམ། །

dorsem ö zhu rang la tim

Vajrasattva melts into light and dissolves into me.

རང་ཉིད་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔར་གྱུར། །

rangnyi dorjé sempar gyur

Through this, I too become Vajrasattva.

རང་ལས་འོད་འཕྲོས་འགྲོ་ལ་ཕོག །

rang lé ö trö dro la pok

Light shines forth from my body and strikes other beings,

འགྲོ་ཀུན་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔར་གྱུར། །

dro kün dorjé sempar gyur

Whereby everyone is transformed into Vajrasattva.

ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧུྃ།

om benza sato hum

oṃ vajra sattva hūṃ

ཞེས་སྙིང་པོ་ཅི་མང་བཟླས་མཐར།

Recite this essence-mantra as many times as possible. Finally, conclude by saying:

དགེ་བ་འདི་ཡིས་མྱུར་དུ་བདག །

gewa di yi nyurdu dak

Through the positivity and merit of this, may I swiftly

རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ནས། །

dorjé sempa drub gyur né

Attain the realization of Vajrasattva, and thereby

འགྲོ་བ་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མ་ལུས་པ། །

drowa chik kyang malüpa

Every single sentient being

དེ་ཡི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག །

dé yi sa la göpar shok

Reach his state of perfection too.

ཅེས་རྡོར་སེམས་བསྒོམ་བཟླས་སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་འཁྲུ་བའི་ཆུ་རྒྱུན་འདི་ནི་སློབ་བུ་མང་པོ་ལ་༧་བྱ་བཏང་ཚོགས་དྲུག་རང་གྲོལ་གྱིས་གནས་ཆེན་གངས་རི་ནས་སྦྱར་བའོ།། །།

The renunciant Tsokdruk Rangdrol composed this 'Stream to Wash Away Misdeeds and Obscurations: Vajrasattva Visualization and Recitation' for numerous students at the great sacred place of the Glacial Peak.¹
