༄༅། །དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་བསྟོད་པ་བཞུགས།

In Praise of the Three Jewels

རྒྱ་གར་སྐད་དུ། ཏྲི་རཏྣ་སྟོ་ཏྲཾ།

In the language of India: Triratnastotra

བོད་སྐད་དུ། དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་བསྟོད་པ།

In the language of Tibet: Könchok sum gyi töpa (dkon mchog gsum gyi bstod pa)

དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

Homage to the Three Jewels!

སངས་རྒྱས་གཙོ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

sangye tso la chaktsal lo

To Buddha the foremost, I pay homage!

སྐྱོབ་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

kyobpé chö la chaktsal lo

To the Dharma that protects, I pay homage!

དགེ་འདུན་ཆེ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

gendün ché la chaktsal lo

To the great Saṅgha, I pay homage!

གསུམ་ལ་རྟག་ཏུ་བདག་ཕྱག་འཚལ། །

sum la taktu dak chaktsal

To these three, I offer continuous veneration!

ཚོགས་ཆེན་གཉིས་རྫོགས་མཁྱེན་བཞི་སྐུ་གསུམ་གྲུབ། །

tsokchen nyi dzok khyen zhi ku sum drub

You have perfectly amassed the two great stores and accomplished fourfold wisdom¹ and the three kāyas;

རྣམ་རྟོག་མི་མངའ་ཅི་ཡང་ས་ལེ་མཁྱེན། །

namtok mi nga chiyang salé khyen

You lack conceptual thought but know everything with perfect clarity;

ཆོས་སྐུ་མཁའ་འདྲ་གཟུགས་སྐུ་མཛེས་སྐུ་ལྡན། །

chöku kha dra zukku dzé kuden

You possess the sky-like dharmakāya and beautiful form kāyas—

སངས་རྒྱས་དཔག་བསམ་འདྲ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

sangye paksam dra la chaktsal lo

To the Buddha, who is like a wish-granting tree, I pay homage!

ཆོས་ཉིད་རྒྱུ་མཐུན་གསུང་རབ་བཅུ་གཉིས་དང༌། །

chönyi gyu tün sungrab chunyi dang

The twelve branches of excellent teaching are causally concordant with dharmatā;

ཆོས་ལ་སྐྱེ་འགག་མེད་ཅིང་སྤྲོས་ལས་དབེན། །

chö la kyegak mé ching trö lé wen

The Dharma has no arising or ceasing; it is devoid of conceptual elaboration;

དེ་ལ་དམིགས་ཏེ་ཡོན་ཏན་ཀུན་གྲུབ་པ། །

dé la mik té yönten kün drubpa

Focusing on this, all qualities are accomplished—

ལེགས་རྒྱུ་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

lek gyu dampé chö la chaktsal lo

To the sacred Dharma, the cause of excellence, I pay homage!

ཉོན་མོངས་སྒྲིབ་དང་ཤེས་བྱའི་སྒྲིབ་པ་དག །

nyönmong drib dang shejé dribpa dak

With afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations

གཉེན་པོས་རིམ་པར་བསལ་ནས་སར་བཞུགས་ཤིང༌། །

nyenpö rimpar sal né sar zhuk shing

Gradually eliminated through their remedies, you abide on the bhūmis,

སེམས་ཅན་དོན་མཛད་སངས་རྒྱས་ཞིང་སྦྱོང་བ། །

semchen dön dzé sangye zhing jongwa

Bring benefit to sentient beings, and purify buddha-realms—

འཕགས་པའི་དགེ་འདུན་ཆེ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །

pakpé gendün ché la chaktsal lo

To the great and noble Saṅgha, I pay homage!

དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་བསྟོད་པ་སློབ་དཔོན་ཆེན་པོ་མ་ཏི་ཙི་ཊས་མཛད་པ་རྫོགས་སོ།།
