༄༅། །ཆོས་རྗེ་དམ་པ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུས་མཁན་ཆེན་མཆོག་ལ་མངའ་གསོལ་གཟེངས་བསྟོད་གནང་བ།

Verses of Commendation and Investiture of the Sublime Great Khenpo Tsultrim Lodrö

རྣམ་དག་ཚུལ༵་ཁྲིམ༵ས་གཙང་མའི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྫོགས། །

namdak tsultrim tsangmé yönten dzok

With your qualities of pure ethical discipline fully perfected,

གཞན་ཕན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་བློ༵་གྲོས༵་རྒྱས། །

zhenpen changchub sem kyi lodrö gyé

And your intelligent, altruistic mind of bodhicitta developed,

འཆད་རྩོད་རྩོམ་ལ་ཐོགས་མེད་གཉིས་པ་ཞེས། །

ché tsö tsom la tokmé nyipa zhé

In exposition, debate and composition, a second Asaṅga—

སྡེ་སྣོད་གསུམ་གྱི་བདག་པོར་མངའ་གསོལ་ལོ། །

denö sum gyi dakpor ngasol lo

I empower you as a master of the three piṭaka collections.

སྔགས་རྒྱུད་སྤྱི་དང་ནང་རྒྱུད་ཡོ་ག་གསུམ། །

ngak gyü chi dang nanggyü yoga sum

By upholding, preserving and spreading the tantras in general

འཛིན་སྐྱོང་སྤེལ་ལ་གསང་བདག་གཉིས་པ་ཞེས། །

dzin kyong pel la sangdak nyipa zhé

And three inner yogas in particular, a second Lord of Secrets,

སྙན་པས་ས་གསུམ་ཁྱོན་ཀུན་ཡོངས་གང་བའི། །

nyenpé sa sum khyön kün yong gangwé

Whose renown extends throughout the entire threefold world—

རྒྱུད་སྡེ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བདག་པོར་མངའ་གསོལ་ལོ། །

gyüdé gyatsö dakpor ngasol lo

I empower you as a master of an ocean of tantra classes.

དེ་ལྟར་བདག་གི་བསམ་པ་རྣམ་དག་གིས། །

detar dak gi sampa namdak gi

Through empowering and praising you with pure intention

མངའ་གསོལ་གཟེངས་བསྟོད་ཇི་བཞིན་སྨོན་པ་འདིར། །

ngasol zengtö jizhin mönpa dir

In this way, may all the victors and their bodhisattva heirs

དབྱིངས་ནས་གཟིགས་པའི་སྲས་བཅས་རྒྱལ་ཀུན་གྱིས། །

ying né zikpé sé ché gyal kün gyi

Look upon this aspiration from the realm of absolute space

མཐུན་འགྱུར་བྱིན་རླབས་མཆོག་གི་དཔལ་སྩོལ་ཅིག །

tün gyur jinlab chok gi pal tsol chik

And confer their sublime blessings, so that all is favourable.

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་རབ་རྒྱན་ཤིང་ཕག་ལོའི (1995) ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ཟླ་བའི་ཚེས་གསུམ་ཉིན་ཆོས་རྗེ་དམ་པ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུ་མཆོག་གིས་དུས་རབས་ཉེར་གཅིག་པའི་གངས་ཅན་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ཕུལ་བའི་སྙིང་གཏམ་སྤྲིན་གྱི་རོལ་མོ་ལྗགས་རྩོམ་གནང་བ་ཡོངས་སུ་མཇུག་གྲུབ་ཅིང་། འགྲོ་དོན་ནམ་མཁའ་དང་མཉམ་པའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་དུ་བླ་རུང་དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་དབུས་སུ་ཁོང་གི་མ་འདས་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་ཞེས་པའི་མཚན་གསོལ་དང་ཁྲི་སྟོན་མཛད་སྐབས། མཁན་ཆེན་བླ་མ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་བློ་གྲོས་མཆོག་ལ་མངའ་གསོལ་གཟེངས་བསྟོད་གནང་བ་དང་སྦྲགས་ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཐོལ་བྱུང་དུ་བསྩལ་པའི་གསུང་བྱིན་རླབས་ཅན་ཞིག་གོ །

On the third day of the Month of Miracles in the year of the Wood Pig (March 4, 1995) in the seventeenth calendrical cycle, the sublime Dharma Lord, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel [i.e., Khenchen Jigme Puntsok], completed his composition "Music of the Clouds: Heart Advice to Tibetans of the Twenty-First Century". On that occasion, as auspicious interdependence, during the 'pre-passing reincarnation'¹ designation and enthronement amidst an ocean-like saṅgha gathering at Larung Gar, the Dharma Lord spontaneously composed these blessed words while performing the commendation and investiture of the sublime Khenchen Lama Tsultrim Lodrö.
