༄༅། །བལ་ཡུལ་ཡང་ལེ་ཤོད་ཀྱི་གནས་བསྟོད་བཞུགས།

In Praise of Yangleshö in Nepal

ཤྲཱི་བཛྲ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་ན་མོ། །

shri benza heruka namo

Homage to the glorious Vajra Heruka!

འབར་བའི་སྐུ་ནི་གཅིག་ཏུ་འཁྱིལ། །

barwé ku ni chik tu khyil

The blazing body of the heruka resides here,

ཡེ་ཤེས་གྲུབ་པའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེ། །

yeshe drubpé chakgya ché

And the great mudrā, whose nature is wisdom.

གདོད་ནས་གྲུབ་པའི་འོག་མིན་ནི། །

döné drubpé womin ni

This is the primordial heaven of Akaniṣṭha,

ས་འདིར་འཕོས་པ་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང༌། །

sa dir pöpa mé du jung

Transferred into this very world—amazing!

རྡོ་རྗེའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་བཀོད་པ་ནི། །

dorjé lü kyi köpa ni

The features of the indestructible vajra body

ཕྱི་རོལ་དངོས་པོའི་ཆོས་སུ་ཤར། །

chirol ngöpö chö su shar

Are all manifest here as external forms.

དཔྱད་ལེགས་རྣམ་ཤེས་དག་པ་ཡི། །

ché lek namshé dakpa yi

Look carefully: it is ornamented with the auspicious signs,

བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྟགས་ཀྱི་མཚན་མས་སྤྲས། །

tashi tak kyi tsenmé tré

Representing the purest aspects of consciousness.

ཧཾ་དང་ཨ་ཐུང་སྙོམས་ཞུགས་ཀྱི། །

hang dang atung nyom zhuk kyi

There is a crystal white peak as a sign of union,

ཁ་སྦྱོར་རྟགས་སུ་ཤེལ་དཀར་རི། །

khajor tak su shel kar ri

The coming together of a HAṂ and A-stroke,

ནགས་ཚལ་སྟུགས་པོའི་རྣམ་པར་མཛེས། །

naktsal tukpö nampar dzé

Beautifully adorned with thickest woodland.

སྤྲུལ་པའི་འཁོར་ལོ་ས་འཛིན་ནི། །

trulpé khorlo sa dzin ni

As the cakra of manifestation, the land

ཟླུམ་པོ་ཐིག་ལེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་འཁྱིལ། །

dumpo tiklé chik tu khyil

Lies in the shape of a sphere, a single bindu.

དྲན་པ་རྣམ་བཀོད་དྭངས་བསིལ་རྫིང༌། །

drenpa nam kö dang sil dzing

Awareness is represented by deep refreshing pools,

རྔམ་ལ་རོ་དྲུག་འདོད་ཡོན་མཆོད། །

ngam la ro druk döyön chö

Offerings of the six tastes and sensual delights,

བདེ་སྐྱིད་ལྷ་མོའི་གར་གྱིས་རྩེན། །

dekyi lhamö gar gyi tsen

With bliss-sustaining goddesses dancing and playing.

ཨ་དོན་སྐྱེ་མེད་སྟོང་པའི་སྒྲ། །

a dön kyemé tongpé dra

“A” is the sound of emptiness signifying the unborn nature,

སུ་རས་མྱོས་པའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཀྱིས། །

suré nyöpé tulzhuk kyi

And “sura” the intoxicating drink of crazy yogic conduct.

དབང་ཆེན་རྔམས་པའི་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་པས། །

wangchen ngampé dra drokpé

Proclaiming the fearsome sounds of great power,

བདག་འཛིན་རུ་ཏྲ་རྣམ་གསུམ་གཞོམ། །

dakdzin rudra nam sum zhom

The three kinds of ego-clinging rudra are destroyed,

དཔལ་ཆེན་སྐུ་སྔགས་ཕྱག་མཚན་སོགས། །

palchen ku ngak chaktsen sok

And the great Glorious One’s enlightened form, mantra and attributes

ཕན་ཚུན་འགྲན་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བཀྲ། །

pentsün drenpa zhindu tra

Manifest clearly all around, as if competing with one another.

པདྨ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ། །

pema gyalpo tötreng tsal

Here the Lotus King (Pema Gyalpo) Tötreng Tsal,

ཡང་དག་གྲུབ་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡི། །

yangdak drubpa chenpo yi

On the night of the great accomplishment of Yangdak,

སྲོད་ལ་བདུད་རྣམས་ཀཱི་ལས་བསྒྲལ། །

sö la dü nam ki lé dral

Liberated obstructing māras through Kīlaya,

ཐོ་རངས་མངོན་པར་བྱང་ཆུབ་བརྙེས། །

torang ngönpar changchub nyé

And at dawn attained complete awakening.

དེ་ཡི་བྱིན་རླབས་སྒྲུབ་གནས་ཆེ། །

dé yi jinlab drub né ché

As a result of this blessing, this great and sacred place

ས་ཆེན་འདི་ན་འགྲན་ཟླ་དབེན། །

sa chen di na drenda wen

Is without equal anywhere upon the Earth.

ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་བའི་དེ་ཉིད་དང༌། །

chi nang sangwé denyi dang

Through these words of praise, elegantly composed,

ལེགས་སྦྱར་བཀོད་པའི་སྒྲ་དབྱངས་ཀྱིས། །

lek jar köpé drayang kyi

Describing the outer, inner and secret nature of this place,

སྲིད་གསུམ་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་བསྒྲལ་ནས། །

si sum drowa kün dral né

May all the beings of the three worlds be liberated,

གསང་བ་མཆོག་གི་གྲོང་འཇུག་ཤོག །

sangwa chok gi drong juk shok

And may they enter the city of the supreme and secret practice.

 

སླར་ཡང་ཆོས་གཏེར་བང་མཛོད་རྣམས། །

lar yang chö ter bangdzö nam

Once again, may the store of priceless Dharma riches—

ཕ་ནོར་བུ་ཡིས་སྤྱོད་པ་དང༌། །

pa norbu yi chöpa dang

The treasures of the father—be enjoyed by his heirs,

ས་གསུམ་རབ་དགའི་དབྱངས་སྒྲོགས་པས། །

sa sum rabgé yang drokpé

And may the melodious sounds of perfect joy resound throughout the three worlds,

འཛམ་གླིང་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཁྱབ་པར་ཤོག །

dzamling küntu khyabpar shok

Pervading the whole of Jambudvīpa.

 

ཅེས་པའང་རྡོ་རྗེ་གཟི་འབར་རྩལ་གྱིས་སོ། །
