ཉན་ཐོས་ཞི་བ་ཚོལ་རྣམས་ཀུན་ཤེས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཉེར་ཞིར་འཁྲིད་མཛད་གང་ཡིན་དང་། །
འགྲོ་ལ་ཕན་པར་བྱེད་རྣམས་ལམ་ཤེས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དོན་སྒྲུབ་མཛད་པ་གང་། །
གང་དང་ཡང་དག་ལྡན་པས་ཐུབ་རྣམས་རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་ལྡན་སྣ་ཚོགས་འདི་གསུངས་པ། །
ཉན་ཐོས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚོགས་བཅས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ནི་ཡུམ་དེ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ། །

Through all-knowledge, you lead the peace-seeking śrāvakas to perfect quiescence,
Through path-knowledge, you enable those who benefit beings to bring about the welfare of the world,
Endowed with you, the omniscient Sages can teach in various ways—
Homage to you, the Mother of the buddhas and hosts of śrāvakas and bodhisattvas.

Chapter 1, verse 1

སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པ་ནི་གཞན་དོན་ཕྱིར། །
ཡང་དག་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་འདོད། །

Arousing bodhicitta is: for the sake of others,
Longing to attain complete enlightenment.

Chapter 1, verse 18

འདི་ལས་བསལ་བྱ་ཅི་ཡང་མེད། །
གཞག་པར་བྱ་བ་ཅུང་ཟད་མེད། །
ཡང་དག་ཉིད་ལ་ཡང་དག་ལྟ། །
ཡང་དག་མཐོང་ན་རྣམ་པར་གྲོལ། །

In this, there is not a thing to be removed,
Nor the slightest thing to be added.
It is looking perfectly into reality itself,
And when reality is seen, complete liberation.[1]
