༄༅། །ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་ཁང་གི་སྨོན་ཚིག

Aspiration for Lotsawa House

འཇིག་རྟེན་མིག་གི་རྒྱན་གྱུར་གཞལ་ཡས་ཁང་། །

jikten mik gi gyen gyur zhalyé khang

May this celestial mansion, an adornment for the eyes of the world,¹

བློ་ལྡོག་རྣམ་བཞིའི་རྩིག་རྨང་རབ་ཏུ་བརྟན། །

lo dok nam zhi tsik mang rabtu ten

Remain stable upon a foundation of fourfold contemplation to transform the mind,²

བདེན་གཉིས་ཟུང་འཇུག་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་བ་གམ་མཛེས། །

den nyi zungjuk semkyé bagam dzé

Be enhanced by the exquisite pavilions of bodhicitta, the union of the two truths,

བསྐྱེད་རྫོགས་རྫོགས་ཆེན་ཉི་འོད་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

kyedzok dzogchen nyi ö bar gyur chik

And shine resplendent in the sunlight of generation, completion and Great Perfection!

ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཨ་དམ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། མི་ཉག་འབྲོག་རྒན་འཁྱམས་པོ་བ་ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཉི་མར་འབོད་པ་གང་དེས་སྤྱི་ལོ་ 2026 རབ་གནས་མེ་རྟ་ལོ་ཚེས་ ༡༠ ལ།

In response to a request from the senior lotsāwa Adam-la, I, the one named Tubten Nyima, an old wandering nomad from Minyak, wrote this on a tenth day during the Fire Horse year (2026).

1. This line plays upon the meaning of Lotsawa House. Translators are referred to in Tibetan as "eyes of the world" ('jig rten mig), which is said to be the origin of the term lotsāwa (Skt. lokacakṣu). ↑
