When you have confidence in the Buddha,
The blessings of the lineage will surely arise.
When you have devotion to the masters of the past,[1]
Compassionate blessings will surely appear.
When you have heartfelt yearning for the guru,
Meditative experience and blessings are sure to arise.
When you recognize appearance and existence as dharmakāya,
Kleśas are sure to be released in their own natural condition.
When you apply the seal of settling nakedly in pristine freedom,
That is surely the enlightened intent of the buddhas.
When you discover physical and vocal bliss,
That is surely the blessing of the guru.
When deluded external appearances cease,
That is surely your own application of effort.
I, a yogin who has realized things to be this way,
Am happy, as I distinguish saṃsāra and nirvāṇa.
