ཨོཾ་སྭ་སྟི།

om svasti

Oṃ svasti!

ཡེ་སྟོང་གདོད་མའི་རང་རྩལ་འགག་མེད་དུ། །

yé tong dömé rang tsal gak mé du

As the ceaseless natural expression of primordial emptiness,

ལྷུན་འགྲུབ་རོལ་སྐུའི་མཛེས་པ་འབུམ་སྤྲོ་བའི། །

lhun drup rol kü dzepa bum trowé

Myriad beautiful forms emanate in a spontaneously perfect display —

རྩ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་འཕྲིན་ལས་ཀྱིས། །

tsa sum gyalwa gyatsö trinlé kyi

Through the activity of the oceanic deities of the three roots,

དགེ་ལེགས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབས་པའི་ཤིས་པ་སྩོལ། །

gelek jin chen pobpé shipa tsol

May the auspiciousness of a great shower of virtue, excellence and blessings rain down!

མུ༵་མེ༵ད་སྲིད་མཚོར་ལྷུང་བའི་ཉམ་ཐག་འགྲོར། །

mu mé si tsor lhungwé nyam tak dror

To wearied beings who fall endlessly into the ocean of existence,

དག་པའི་ཡེ༵་ཤེ༵ས་སྣང་བ་མཆོག་སྩོལ་ཞིང༌། །

dakpé yeshe nangwa chok tsol zhing

Grant the supreme light of pure primordial wisdom!

མཚོ༵་བྱུང་ལྷ་མོ༵་དགྱེས་པའི་སྙན་འགྱུར་སྟོང༌། །

tsön jung lhamo gyepé nyen gyur tong

To the reverend one skilled in proclaiming

སྒྲོག་མཁས་རྗེ་བཙུན་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

drok khé jetsün ma la solwa dep

A thousand sweet sounds that delight the lake-born goddess, we pray!

སྐུ་ཚེ་མི་འགྱུར་རྡོ་རྗེའི་གཤིས་སུ་བརྟན། །

ku tsé mingyur dorjé shi su tön

May your life remain secure in the immutable vajra nature!

འཕྲིན་ལས་མཛད་པས་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོར་ཁྱབ། །

trinlé dzepé chok kyi khorlor khyap

May your enlightened activity extend continuously in all directions!

ཉེར་འབྲེལ་མཆོད་ཡོན་དམ་ཚིག་གཙང་མ་ཡིས། །

nyer drel chö yön damtsik tsangma yi

With pure commitments among all connections, teacher and patrons,

བསྟན་འགྲོའི་ཕན་བདེ་རིང་དུ་སྐྱོང་གྱུར་ཅིག །

ten dröi pen dé ring du kyong gyur chik

May the welfare of the teachings and beings be sustained long into the future!

སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་ཟབ་མོ་དང༌། །

kyab né gyalpö tuk kyé zabmo dang

Through the profound aspirations of the victorious sources of refuge

མཐུ་ལྡན་བསྟན་སྲུང་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ནུས་མཐུའི་སྟོབས། །

tu dan ten sung gyatsö nu tüi tob

The force of the powerful guardians of the teachings,

གཡོ་མེད་ལྷག་བསམ་བདེན་པའི་རེ་སྨོན་ལས། །

yo mé lhaksam denpé ré mön lé

And our sincere hopes and aspirations made with unwavering motivation,

འདོད་དོན་འགྲུབ་པའི་དགེ་མཚན་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག ། ། །

dö dön drubpé gé tsen bar gyur chik

May there be extensive signs of the fulfilment of our wishes!

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་རྗེ་བཙུན་མ་མི་འགྱུར་དཔལ་སྒྲོན་གྱི་ཡང་སྤྲུལ། མུ་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཚོ་མོའི་བརྟན་བཞུགས་སྨོན་ཚིག་འདི་འདྲ་ཞིག་དགོས་ཞེས། ༧ རྒྱལ་དབང་པདྨའི་གདུང་འཚོབ་མཁན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འཇིགས་མེད་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཞལ་སྔ་ནས་དང༌། དད་དམ་དགེ་བ་སེར་སྐྱ་དུ་མ་ཞིག་ནས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྒྱ་མཚོས། རབ་བྱུང་བཅུ་བདུན་པའི་ཟླ་༧་ཚེས་༡༦་ཕྱི་ལོ་༢༠༠༠་ཟླ་༩་ཚེས་༡༤་ཉིན་དྷ་རམ་ས་ལ་ཐེག་ཆེན་ཆོས་གླིང་དུ་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་ལེགས་འཕེལ།། །།

The Buddhist monk Tenzin Gyatso composed this prayer for the longevity of Mumé Yeshe Tsomo, the reincarnation of Jetsünma Mingyur Paldrön, in response to a request from Khen Rinpoche Jigme Phuntsok, the successor of Padma, Lord of the Victorious Ones, and from several monastic and lay practitioners who have pure devotion and samaya commitment. It was written at Tekchen Chöling in Dharamsala on the 16th day of the seventh month in the Iron Dragon year of the seventeenth calendrical cycle (14 September 2000). May virtue and positivity abound!
