An Aspiration to be Reborn in Sukhāvatī

རང་སྣང་དག་པ་བདེ་བ་ཅན་གྱི་ཞིང་། །

rangnang dakpa dewachen gyi zhing

In the blissful realm Sukhāvatī—self-display purified—

རང་རིག་གཞི་ཡི་སངས་རྒྱས་འོད་དཔག་མེད། །

rangrig zhi yi sangye öpakmé

Resides Amitābha, the buddha of original self-awareness,

རང་རྩལ་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་རོལ་བའི་འཁོར་དང་བཅས། །

rang tsal gyutrul rolwé khor dangché

Along with his retinue of illusory creative display.

རང་སྣང་ནུབ་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མངོན་འགྱུར་ནས། །

rangnang nub ma tak tu ngön gyur né

The moment my self-display dissolves may this pureland manifest.

འགྲོ་ཁམས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདྲེན་པའི་དཔལ་ཐོབ་ཤོག །

dro kham gyatso drenpé pal tob shok

Thus, may I become a glorious guide for all beings in all realms.

བཟང་ངན་འབྲེལ་བ་ཐོབ་པའི་སྐྱེ་འགྲོ་ཀུན། །

zang ngen drelwa tobpé kyendro kün

May all those connected with me—whether in a positive or negative way—

མ་རིག་འཁྲུལ་སྣང་དབྱིངས་སུ་སད་ནས་ཀྱང་། །

marik trulnang ying su sé né kyang

Awaken from ignorance and delusion within basic space

རང་རིག་ཆོས་སྐུའི་རྒྱལ་ས་ཟིན་པར་ཤོག །

rangrig chökü gyalsa zinpar shok

And seize the citadel of the dharmakāya of natural awareness!

སེར་ཐང་གྲུབ་ཆེན་པས་སོ།།
