The Descent of Blessings

ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ

Hūṃ. Hrīḥ.

སྤྲོས་པ་ཀུན་བྲལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ། །

tröpa kündral chö kyi ku

The dharmakāya, free from all elaboration,

འགགས་མེད་གསལ་སྟོང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས། །

gakmé saltong longchö dzok

The sambhogakāya of unceasing clarity and emptiness,

ཐུགས་རྗེའི་རིག་རྩལ་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །

tukjé riktsal trulpé ku

And the nirmāṇakāya expression of resonant awareness—

སྐུ་གསུམ་བླ་མས་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །

ku sum lamé jin pob chik

Three-kāya guru, shower down your blessings!

 

དགོངས་བརྡ་སྙན་ནས་བརྒྱུད་པ་ཡི། །

gong da nyen né gyüpa yi

Vidyādharas of mind-direct, sign and aural lineages

རིག་འཛིན་རིག་རྩལ་འཆང་བའི་ལྷས། །

rigdzin riktsal changwé lhé

And deities who hold the force of awareness,

བྱིན་རླབས་དགོངས་པའི་རྩལ་བསྐྱེད་ལ། །

jinlab gongpé tsal kyé la

Enhance the power of blessings and realization,

གནས་འདིར་བྱིན་ཕོབ་དབང་མཆོག་བསྐུར། །

né dir jin pob wang chok kur

Shower down blessings and confer supreme empowerment!

 

ཀུན་འདུས་རིག་འཛིན་བདེ་བ་ཆེ། །

kündü rigdzin dewa ché

Vidyādhara embodiment of all, guru of great bliss,

མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་འབྱུང༌། །

maha guru pema jung

Mahāguru Padmasambhava,

སྐུ་ལྔ་མཚན་བརྒྱད་ལ་སོགས་པའི། །

ku nga tsen gyé lasokpé

With your countless billions of emanations—

རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་བྱེ་བ་བསམ་ཡས་པས། །

namtrul jewa samyé pé

The five enlightened forms, eight manifestations and the rest,

དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་འདི་ལ་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །

kyilkhor di la jin pob chik

Shower down your blessings upon this maṇḍala!

སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྫས་ལ་བཀྲག་ཅིག་སྟོན། །

drubpé dzé la trak chik tön

Cause the articles of accomplishment to shine in vivid splendour!

 

སྔོན་ནས་འབྲེལ་བའི་ཡི་དམ་ལྷ། །

ngön né drelwé yidam lha

Yidam deities with whom we have connections from the past,

དཔལ་ཆེན་རིག་འཛིན་སྒྲུབ་སྡེ་བརྒྱད། །

palchen rigdzin drubdé gyé

Eight Awesome Ones, the vidyādharas’ means of attainment,

ཞི་ཁྲོ་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲྭ་བ་དང༌། །

zhitro gyutrul drawa dang

Peaceful and wrathful deities from the Illusory Net,

ཚེ་འོད་དཔག་མེད་ཐུགས་ཆེན་སོགས། །

tsé öpakmé tuk chen sok

Boundless Life, Boundless Light, Great Compassionate One, and the rest—

ཡི་དམ་ལྷ་ཚོགས་འདིར་གཤེགས་ལ། །

yidam lhatsok dir shek la

Hosts of yidam deities, come here now,

གནས་འདིར་བྱིན་ཕོབ་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

né dir jin pob ngödrub tsol

Shower down your blessings and grant attainments!

 

དབྱིངས་ཕྱུག་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕག་མོ་དང༌། །

yingchuk dorjé pakmo dang

Queen of Space, Vajravārāhī,

མཁའ་འགྲོ་སེང་གེའི་གདོང་པ་ཅན། །

khandro sengé dongpachen

Ḍākinī with the face of a lion,

རྣལ་འབྱོར་མ་དཔལ་མཚོ་རྒྱལ་སོགས། །

naljorma pal tsogyal sok

Glorious yoginī Tsogyal and the rest,

སྐུ་གསུམ་གནས་ན་བཞུགས་པ་ཡི། །

ku sum né na zhukpa yi

Hosts of ḍākinīs residing throughout three-kāya realms,

ཌཱ་ཀིའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །

daki tsok kyi jin chen pob

Shower down your blessings!

 

བརྒྱུད་གསུམ་དམ་ཅན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་དང༌། །

gyü sum damchen gyatso dang

Ocean of oath-bound guardians of the three lineages,

ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་གནས་ཡུལ་སྐྱོང༌། །

norlha terdak neyul kyong

Wealth deities, treasure-keepers, protectors of locales,

དཔའ་བོ་དཔའ་མོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀྱིས། །

pawo pamo rabjam kyi

Infinite valorous ones, male and female,

གནས་འདིར་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཕྲིན་ལས་སྒྲུབས། །

né dir jin pob trinlé drub

Shower blessings upon this place! Accomplish your activity!

མ་གཡེལ་མ་གཡེལ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་ལྷ། །

ma yel ma yel tukjé lha

Do not neglect us! Compassionate deities, do not neglect us!

དགྱེས་པའི་གར་གྱིས་འདིར་གཤེགས་ནས། །

gyepé gar gyi dir shek né

Approach now through your dance of delight,

བྱིན་རླབས་ནུས་པའི་རྩལ་ཆེན་སྟོན། །

jinlab nüpé tsal chen tön

And reveal the great power of your blessings and capacity.

དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ་བའི་དུས་ལ་བབས། །

ngödrub tsolwé dü la bab

Now the time has come to bestow attainments!

 

སྣང་སྲིད་སྣོད་བཅུད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀུན། །

nangsi nöchü tamché kün

Bless the whole of appearance and existence,

ཡེ་ཤེས་ཕྱག་རྒྱས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

yeshe chakgyé jingyi lob

Habitat and inhabitants, with the wisdom mudrā.

རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་གྲུབ་པར་མཛོད། །

dorjé ku chok drubpar dzö

Bring about attainment of the supreme vajra-kāya.

བྱིན་ཆེན་བྱིན་ཕོབ་དབང་མཆོག་བསྐུར། །

jin chen jin pob wang chok kur

Shower down great blessings, confer supreme empowerment.

རྟགས་དང་མཚན་མ་མྱུར་དུ་སྟོན། །

tak dang tsenma nyurdu tön

Swiftly reveal to us the signs and indications.

བསྒྲུབ་པའི་རེ་འབྲས་མཆིས་པ་དང༌། །

drubpé ré dré chipa dang

Cause all our hopes for success to be realized,

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

chok dang tünmong ngödrub tsol

And bestow attainments, ordinary and supreme.

བཛྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཨཱ་ཝེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ

benza jnana awé shaya a ah

vajra-jñāna āveśaya a āḥ

 

མང་དུ་བརྗོད་པས་བྱིན་དབབ་པོ།

By reciting this many times, cause blessings to descend.

 

ཞེས་པའང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་སོ།། །།
