༄༅། །ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་བྲིས་པའི་མགུར།

A Song Requested by the Buddhist Monk Jamyang Yönten Gyatso

ཨོཾ་སྭཱསྟི། །

om swasti

Oṃ svasti.

སྐྱབས་གནས་ཀུན་འདུས་བླ་མ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་། །

kyabné kündü lama dorjé chang

Guru Vajradhara, the embodiment of all sources of refuge,

བཀའ་དྲིན་མཉམ་མེད་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་མཁྱེན། །

kadrin nyammé chökyi lodrö khyen

Chökyi Lodrö, incomparable in your kindness, care for me!

བདག་རྒྱུད་ཆོས་དང་འདྲེས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

dak gyü chö dang drepar jingyi lob

Inspire me to fuse my mindstream with the Dharma!

གསལ་སྟོང་ཟུང་འཇུག་སྤྲོས་བྲལ་ལྟ་བ་སྟོང་། །

saltong zungjuk trödral tawa tong

Help me to realize the view of the union of clarity and emptiness, beyond conceptual elaboration,

ཡེངས་མེད་འཛིན་མེད་བསྒོམས་པ་ལམ་དུ་ཁྱེར། །

yengmé dzinmé gompa lam du khyer

To integrate it through the meditation that is undistracted and without fixation,

སྡོམ་པ་གསུམ་གྱི་ཀུན་སྤྱོད་རྣམ་པར་དག །

dompa sum gyi künchö nampar dak

To maintain utterly pure conduct by means of the three sets of vows,

དབང་བཞིའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཚེ་འདིར་སྨིན་པར་ཤོག །

wang zhi drebu tsé dir minpar shok

And to reap the fruits of the four empowerments within this very lifetime!

མདོར་ན་སྐྱིད་སྡུག་ལེགས་ཉེན་ཅི་བྱུང་ཡང་། །

dorna kyiduk lek nyen chi jung yang

In short, whatever befalls me, whether happiness or sorrow, circumstances good or bad,

རེ་ས་གཞན་ན་མེད་དོ་བླ་མ་མཁྱེན། །

resa zhen namé do lama khyen

I have no other hope but you – O guru, care for me!

བྱང་ཆུབ་བར་དུ་འབྲལ་མེད་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་གཟུང་། །

changchub bardu dralmé tukjé zung

Until I reach awakening, hold me with your compassion without ever parting.

ཞེས་པས་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་མཁྱེན་སྤྲུལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་བྲིས་པའོ། །དགེ་ལེགས་འཕེལ།། །།
