Minling Dorsem Lineage Prayer

ཁྱབ་བདག་དང་པོའི་མགོན་པོ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་། །

khyabdak dangpö gönpo kuntuzang

Samantabhadra, omnipresent lord and original protector,

བདེ་སྟོང་དབྱེར་མེད་དཔལ་ལྡན་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས། །

detong yermé palden dorjé sem

Glorious Vajrasattva, bliss and emptiness indivisible,

རྒྱལ་ཚབ་སྟོན་པ་དགའ་རབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ། །

gyaltsab tönpa garab dorjé la

And the regent and teacher Garab Dorje—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

ཟུང་འཇུག་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ཤྲཱི་སིཾ་ཧའི་ཞབས། །

zungjuk tarchin shri singhé zhab

Noble Śrī Siṃha, who perfected non-dual union,

གསང་བའི་མཛོད་འཛིན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཧཱུྃ་མཛད་དང་། །

sangwé dzö dzin dorjé hungdzé dang

Vajra Hūṃkāra, holder of the secret treasury,

ཟབ་ལམ་སྙིང་པོའི་དོན་གཟིགས་བི་མ་ལར། །

zablam nyingpö dön zik bimalar

And Vimalamitra, who saw the essence of the profound path—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

དུས་གསུམ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་དངོས་པདྨ་འབྱུང་། །

dü sum sangye kün ngö pema jung

Padmākara, actual embodiment of all the buddhas of the three times,

མཁའ་སྤྱོད་དབང་མོ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཚོ་རྒྱལ་དང་། །

khachö wangmo yeshe tsogyal dang

Yeshe Tsogyal, powerful queen of the celestial ḍākinīs,

ངེས་དོན་ལམ་བཟང་གསལ་མཛད་བཻ་རོ་རྗེར། །

ngedön lamzang sal dzé bai ro jer

And distinguished Vairotsana, who illuminated the excellent, definitive approach—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

སྔ་འགྱུར་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་། །

ngagyur tenpé nyima terdak ling

Terdak Lingpa, sun of the teachings of the Ancient Translations,

བི་མའི་རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་རིན་ཆེན་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ། །

bimé namtrul rinchen nampar gyal

Rinchen Namgyal,¹ a manifestation of Vimalamitra himself,

རིག་འཛིན་ས་བརྙེས་པདྨ་བསྟན་འཛིན་ལ། །

rigdzin sa nyé pema tendzin la

And Pema Tendzin,² who reached the level of a vidyādhara—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

ངེས་གསང་ལམ་སྟོན་ཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ། །

ngé sang lam tön trinlé nampar gyal

Trinlé Namgyal,³ who revealed the definitive and secret path,

མཆོག་གཟིགས་པདྨ་དབང་རྒྱལ་ལྕམ་དྲལ་ཟུང་། །

chok zik pema wanggyal chamdral zung

Pema Wangyal,⁴ seer of the sublime, together with his sister Jetsün Trinlé Chödrön,⁵

གཙུག་ལག་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་གཏེར། །

tsuklak chögyal jamyang khyentsé ter

And dharma king Jamyang Khyentse, a treasury of knowledge and love—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

སྨིན་གྲོལ་འདོད་དགུའི་མཆོག་སྩོལ་བླ་མ་རྗེ། །

mindrol dögü chok tsol lama jé

Noble guru who bestows the best of what is sought after, ripening and liberation,

བདེ་ཆེན་སྒྱུ་མའི་རྣམ་རོལ་ཡི་དམ་ལྷ། །

dechen gyumé namrol yidam lha

Yidam deity, the illusory manifestation of great bliss,

ཕྲིན་ལས་ཐོགས་མེད་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ལ། །

trinlé tokmé khandro chökyong la

And ḍākinīs and dharmapālas whose activity is unobstructed—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings!

འདིས་ཐོབ་དགེ་བས་བདག་གཞན་མཁའ་མཉམ་འགྲོ །

di tob gewé dakzhen khanyam dro

Through the virtue gained hereby, may I and others—all beings who are as numerous as space is vast—

བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་འབྱོངས་གང་སྣང་ལྷ་སྐུར་ཤར། །

changchub sem jong gang nang lha kur shar

Master the mind of awakening, so that all appearances arise as deity forms;

ཁྲེགས་ཆོད་ལྟ་བ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ཐོད་རྒལ་གྱི། །

trekchö tawa tarchin tögal gyi

May we perfect the view of Trekchö, and reach the culmination

འཕོ་མེད་ཟབ་ལམ་མཐའ་རུ་ཕྱིན་པར་ཤོག །

pomé zablam ta ru chinpar shok

Of the profound path of Tögal, beyond transition or regress.

ཅེས་མདོ་ཁམས་གོ་འཇོ་བླ་མ་ཤེས་རབ་འོད་ཟེར་དང་བསོད་ནམས་ཕུན་ཚོགས་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བསྐུལ་ངོར་འགྱུར་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེས་བྲིས་པའོ།། །།
