༄༅། །མཁའ་འགྲོ་སྙིང་ཐིག་ལས། བླ་མའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་གསུམ་སྐབས་ཀྱི་གསོལ་འདེབས།
Prayer from the Outer, Inner and Secret Guru Yoga
from the Khandro Nyingtik
དངོས་མེད་མཐའ་བྲལ་ཀ་དག་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ། །
ngömé tadral kadak chö kyi ku
The dharmakāya of primordial purity, free from the extremes of real and unreal,
རང་རིག་གསལ་དྭངས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས། །
rangrig sal dang lhündrub longchö dzok
The sambhogakāya of self-knowing awareness, radiantly clear and spontaneously present,
ཀུན་ཁྱབ་ཤར་གྲོལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །
künkhyab shardrol natsok trulpé ku
And the nirmāṇakāya of the all-encompassing liberation of whatever arises, in all its variety—
དུས་གསུམ་རང་རིག་བླ་མ་རྣམས་ལ་འདུད། །
dü sum rangrig lama nam la dü
To the gurus of my own awareness throughout the three times, I bow.
དམིགས་མེད་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་དག་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
mikmé chöying dakpé podrang du
To Samantabhadra and Samantabhadrī, Father and Mother,
ཀུན་བཟང་ཡབ་ཡུམ་ཉིད་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
kunzang yabyum nyi la solwa deb
In the pure palace of the referenceless dharmadhātu, I pray:
ངོ་བོ་ཀ་དག་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
ngowo kadak tokpar jingyi lob
Bless me to realize the essence as pure from the beginning.
ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རང་གསལ་འོད་ཀྱི་གཞལ་ཡས་སུ། །
lhündrub rangsal ö kyi zhalyé su
To the assembly of the peaceful and wrathful saṃbhogakāya deities
ལོངས་སྐུ་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ཚོགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
longku zhitrö tsok la solwa deb
In the luminous palace of natural and spontaneous clarity,1 I pray:
རིག་པ་སྐུ་རུ་སྨིན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
rigpa ku ru minpar jingyi lob
Bless me so that pure awareness ripens as the kāyas.
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཕྱོགས་རིས་མེད་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
tukjé chokri mepé podrang du
To the nirmāṇakāya Vajradhara
སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
tulku dorjé chang la solwa deb
In the palace of compassion free from partiality or bias, I pray:
སྣང་སེམས་འཛིན་པ་སྟོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
nang semdzin pa tongpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that clinging to appearances and mind may be avoided.
དུར་ཁྲོད་མེ་རི་འབར་བའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
durtrö meri barwé podrang du
To Garab Dorje
དགའ་རབ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
garab dorjé ku la solwa deb
In the palace of the Blazing Fire Mountain charnel ground, I pray
ཆོས་ཉིད་དོན་དང་མཇལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi dön dang jalwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that I may encounter the ultimate meaning of dharmatā!
དུར་ཁྲོད་སོ་ས་གླིང་གི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
durtrö so sa ling gi podrang du
To Śrī Siṃha
ཤྲཱི་སིང་ཧ་ཉིད་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
shrising ha nyi la solwa deb
In the palace of the charnel ground Sosadvīpa, I pray:
བདེ་ཆེན་འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dechen dudral mepar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that great bliss may be forever beyond union and separation!
དཔལ་རི་པདྨ་འོད་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
palri pema ö kyi podrang du
To Padma of Oḍḍiyāna
ཨོ་རྒྱན་པདྨའི་སྐུ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
orgyen pemé ku la solwa deb
In the palace of Lotus Light on the Mountain of Glory, I pray:
འཆི་མེད་རིག་འཛིན་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chimé rigdzin drubpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that I may attain the level of an immortal vidyādhara!
གཞོ་སྟོད་ཏེ་སྒྲོ་བྲག་གི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
zho tö té dro drak gi podrang du
To the wisdom ḍākinī
ཡེ་ཤེས་མཁའ་འགྲོ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
yeshe khandroma la solwa deb
In the palace of Zhotö Tidro Cave, I pray:
ཆོས་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi ngönsum tongwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that I may directly perceive dharmatā!2

To Pema Ledrel Tsal
པདྨ་ལས་འབྲེལ་རྩལ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

In the palace of the pure celestial realm of the vidyādharas, I pray:
ཟབ་དོན་དགོངས་པ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
zab dön gongpa tokpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessings so that I may realize the profound meaning, the enlightened intent!
བྱར་ཡུལ་གྲོ་ས་ལུང་གི་དགོན་པ་རུ། །
jar yul dro sa lung gi gönpa ru
To Gyalse Lekdenpa (rgyal sras legs pa, 1290–1365).}}
རྒྱལ་སྲས་ལེགས་ལྡན་པ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
gyalsé lekden pa la solwa deb
In the glorious palace of Drosa in Jar, I pray:
བདག་གཞན་དོན་གཉིས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dakzhen dön nyi drubpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may accomplish the twofold benefit of self and others.
ལ་རྒྱབ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་སྟེང་གི་གདན་ས་རུ། །
la gyab lhündrub teng gi densa ru
To Rangjung Dorje3
རང་བྱུང་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
rangjung dorjé zhab la solwa deb
In the seat of Lagyab Lhundrup Teng, I pray:
འགྲོ་དོན་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dro dön lhün gyi drubpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may spontaneously benefit beings.
རྣམ་དག་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པའི་གཞལ་ཡས་སུ། །
namdak lhün gyi drubpé zhalyé su
To Darma Dorje
དར་མ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
dar ma dorjé zhab la solwa deb
In the palace of spontaneous purity, I pray:
འཁྲུལ་པ་རང་སར་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
trulpa rang sar dakpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may purify delusion in its own place.
གར་བཞུགས་དག་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །
gar zhuk dakpa chö kyi podrang na
To Namkha Dorje
ནམ་མཁའ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
namkha dorjé zhab la solwa deb
In the dharma palace of wherever-one-resides-being-pure, I pray:
ཆོས་ཉིད་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi denpa tongwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may see dharmatā reality.
བསྐྱེད་རྫོགས་བརྟན་པ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །
kyedzok tenpa tobpé podrang na
To Tsultrim Bum
ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་འབུམ་པའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
tsultrim bumpé zhab la solwa deb
In the palace of the attainment of stability in generation and completion, I pray:
སྐུ་ལྔ་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
ku nga lhün gyi drubpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may spontaneously actualise the five kāyas.
སྣང་སྲིད་སྒྱུ་མར་རྟོགས་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །
nangsi gyumar tokpé podrang na
To Dharma Lakṣa
དྷརྨ་ལཀྵའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོབ་འདེབས། །
dharma lakshé zhab la sob deb
In the palace of the recognition of appearance and existence as illusory, I pray:
ཨ་འཐས་འཁྲུལ་པ་ཞིག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
até trulpa zhikpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may overcome the delusion of reification.
བཀའ་དང་དམ་ཚིག་དག་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །
ka dang damtsik dakpé podrang na
To Buddha Śrī
བུདྡྷ་ཤྲཱིའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
buddha shri zhab la solwa deb
In the palace of pure instruction and commitment, I pray:
ལོག་རྟོག་དྲི་མ་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
loktok drima dakpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may purify the stains of wrong view.
སྤྱི་གཙུག་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོའི་གཞལ་ཡས་སུ། །
chitsuk dewa chenpö zhalyé su
To the root guru
རྩ་བའི་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
tsawé lamé zhab la solwa deb
In the palace of great bliss at the crown, I pray:
ཟབ་དོན་སྙིང་པོ་ལོན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
zab dönnying po lönpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may adopt the essence of the profound.
རང་ལུས་རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
rang lü nampar dakpé podrang du
To the hosts of ḍākinīs and peaceful and wrathful ones
ཞི་ཁྲོ་ཌཱཀྐིའི་ཚོགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
zhitro daki tsok la solwa deb
In the palace of the utter purity of my own body, I pray:
རང་སྣང་རང་ངོ་ཤེས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
rangnang rang ngoshepar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may recognise natural self-manifestations.
ལྡང་ལྷ་ཁྲ་མོ་བྲག་གི་དབེན་གནས་སུ། །
dang lha tramo drak gi wenné su
To the Ḍākinīs’ Heart-Essence itself
མཁའ་འགྲོ་སྙིང་ཐིག་ཉིད་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
khandro nyingtik nyi la solwa deb
In the secluded site of Danglha Tramo Drak, I pray:
གདོས་བཅས་འོད་ལུས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dö ché ölü drubpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may transmute this material form into a body of light.
བཀའ་དང་བསྟན་པ་བསྲུང་བའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན། །
ka dang tenpa sungwé podrang na
To the custodians of the teachings and the treasure guardians
བཀའ་བདག་གཏེར་སྲུང་རྣམས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
ka dak tersung nam la solwa deb
In the palace of guardianship of the word and teaching, I pray:
རྐྱེན་སྣང་བར་ཆད་ཞི་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
kyennang barché zhiwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that the manifestation of obstacles may be pacified.
ཆོས་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi ngönsum tongwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may directly perceive dharmatā.
རིག་པ་ཚད་ལ་ཕེབས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
rigpa tsé la pebpar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that awareness may reach its full measure.
ཉམས་སྣང་གོང་དུ་འཕེལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
nyam nang gong du pelwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that visionary experiences may increase.
ཆོས་ཉིད་ཟད་སར་འཁྱོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
chönyi zé sar khyolwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may reach the exhaustion into dharmatā.
བདེན་པ་མངོན་དུ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
denpa ngön du tongwar jingyi lob
Grant your blessing so that I may directly see the truth.
གྷར་དམ་པའི་སྒྲུབ་གནས་ཤུག་ཚར་དཔལ་གྱི་དགོན་པར་བདག་འཕགས་པ་དབོན་པོ་དར་མ་བཟང་པོས། འགྲོ་བ་རྣམས་བདེ་ཆེན་རྟོགས་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དང་ལྡན་པས་སྙིང་ཏིག་གི་ཡིག་ཆ་ཆ་ཚང་བར་བཞེངས་པ་འདིའི་དགེ་བས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་དར་ཞིང་རྒྱས་ཏེ་འཁོར་བ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་མྱུར་དུ་སྐེམས་པར་ཤོག་ཅིག །དགེའོ།། །།
In the monastery of Shuk Tsar Pal, in the practice place of Ghardampa, I, Pakpa Önpo Darma Zangpo,4 set out in full these notes on the Heart-Essence with the intention that beings might realize great bliss. Through the virtue of this, may the teachings of the buddhas flourish and spread, and may saṃsāra’s vast ocean of suffering swiftly dry up! Let it be virtuous!
