༁ྃ༔ དག་སྣང་ཡེ་ཤེས་དྲྭ་བ་ལས༔ སྣང་མཐས་མངོན་སུམ་གསུངས་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་བཞུགས་སོ༔
A Prayer Spoken by Amitābha Himself

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་ཡེ༔
Namo guruye!1
རང་རིག་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་གདིང་ཆེན་པོས༔
With the great confidence of bodhicitta, self-awareness, recite:
ཨེ་མ་ཧོ༔
emaho
Emaho!
རང་སྣང་རྣམ་དག་དོན་གྱི་འོག་མིན་དབྱིངས༔
rangnang namdak dön gyi womin ying
In the ultimate expanse of Akaniṣṭha—utterly pure self-display—
ཡེ་ཤེས་བཀོད་པ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ༔
yeshe köpa trul gyi zhingkham su
In the pure realm of wisdom’s magical array,
གཞི་ཡི་ཆོས་སྐུ་རྒྱལ་བ་འོད་དཔག་མེད༔
zhi yi chöku gyalwa öpakmé
Resides the original dharmakāya, Buddha Amitābha,
རང་རྩལ་བྱང་སེམས་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཚོམ་བུར་ངོམས༔
rang tsal changsem tsok kyi tsombur ngom
And a host of bodhisattvas—his creative power’s display.
ཤེས་རབ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མངོན་གྱུར་རྩལ་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས༔
sherab yeshe ngöngyur tsalshuk kyi
Through the power of insight and wisdom made manifest,
ནམ་ཞིག་སྣང་བ་གནས་སུ་འགྱུར་བའི་ཚེ༔
namzhik nangwa né su gyurwé tsé
When the time comes for these appearances to transform,
གདོད་མའི་ཡེ་གདངས་མཆོག་དེ་ཚད་ཕེབས་ནས༔
dömé yé dang chok dé tsepeb né
May supreme, primordial radiance reach full measure.
དོན་གཉིས་མཐར་ཕྱིན་སྐུ་བཞི་མངོན་འགྱུར་ཤོག༔
dön nyi tarchin ku zhi ngön gyur shok
Thus, may I attain the four kāyas—the perfection of the two goals.
རང་སྣང་བདེ་བ་ཅན་གི་རྟེན་བརྟེན་པར༔ ཡིད་ལ་མངོན་བྱེད་སྨོན་པ་འདི་བརྗོད་བྱ༔
Recite this prayer while bringing to mind the supporting environment and supported inhabitants of Sukhāvatī, the pure realm of self-display.
ས་མ་ཡ༔ རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ དྷ་ཐིམ༔ ཅེས་པ་འདི་ཡང་ཁྲག་འཐུང་བདུད་འཇོམས་རྡོ་རྗེས་སྙན་གྲགས་ཀྱི་ངོར་ཕབས་པའོ༔
Samaya. Seal, seal, seal. Dhatim. This was received and transcribed by Traktung Dudjom Dorje himself.2 May this bring virtue!
