༄༅། །ཀརྨ་པ་མཁའ་ཁྱབ་རྡོ་རྗེར་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Prayer to Karmapa Khakhyab Dorje¹

by the Fifteenth Karmapa, Khakhyab Dorje

དཔལ་ལྡན་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་མཁའ་ལྟར་ཁྱབ། །

palden tenpé nyima kha tar khyab

Glorious sun of the teachings, all-pervasive like space,

མཆོག་གི་བློ་གྲོས་གཟི་བརྗིད་རབ་ཏུ་རྒྱས། །

chok gi lodrö ziji rabtu gyé

Your supreme intelligence shines out in brilliant splendour.

བདེ་ཆེན་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྷན་ཅིག་སྐྱེས་པའི་བདག །

dechen yeshe lhenchik kyepé dak

O sovereign of the primordial, co-emergent wisdom of great bliss,

མཁའ་ཁྱབ་རང་བྱུང་རྡོ་རྗེར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

Khakhyab Rangjung Dorje, to you I pray!

ཞེས་པའང་རང་སློབ་སྨིན་གྲོལ་འབོགས་པའི་ལས་ཀྱི་སློབ་དཔོན་དུ་དབང་བསྐུར་བ། ཤར་གསེར་རོང་ལྷ་རྩེ་བ་ཐུབ་བསྟན་འཇམ་དཔལ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་གྲགས་པའི་རེ་བ་སྐོང་སླད་རིག་འཛིན་གྱི་བཙུན་པ་མཁའ་ཁྱབ་རྡོ་རྗེས་མཚུར་མདོའི་པདྨ་རྫོང་དང་འདབས་འབྲེལ་བའི་སྒྲུབ་སྡེ་ཆེན་མོའི་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཕོ་བྲང་ནས་བྲིས་པའོ།།

In order to fulfil wishes of his own student Thubten Jampal Tsultrim Drakpa, who comes from the East of Serong, Lhatse and who has been empowered as a master of ceremonies capable of granting ripening empowerments and liberating instructions, the noble vidyādhara Khakhyab Dorje wrote this prayer at the Lhundrub Podrang of the great retreat centre near Padma Dzong of Tsurphu.
