༄༅། །རྗེ་བཙུན་བྱམས་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མའི་༧ཞབས་བརྟན་སྨོན་ཚིག

Aspiration for the Long Life of Jampa Kunga Tenpé Nyima

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་མཉྫུ་གྷོ་ཥཱ་ཡ།

Namo guru mañjughoṣāya!

 

བྱམས་མགོན་གཉིས་པ་རབ་འབྱམས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྗེ། །

jamgön nyipa rabjam chökyi jé

Illuminator of the teachings of Kunga Yeshe,1

ཀུན་དགའ་ཡེ་ཤེས་བསྟན་པ་གསལ་མཛད་པ། །

künga yeshe tenpa sal dzepa

Who was a second Maitreyanātha, an erudite master of Dharma,

མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་པའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན། །

khyentsé nüpé wangchuk drowé gön

Protector of beings, lord of knowledge, love and power,

ཡོངས་འཛིན་སྨྲ་བའི་ཉི་མ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

yongdzin mawé nyima zhabten sol

Sun among teachers, may your life remain secure!

 

རྣམ་དག་སྡོམ་པ་གསུམ་གྱིས་རྒྱུད་ཕྱུག་ཅིང་། །

namdak dompa sum gyi gyü chuk ching

May your mind be enriched by the pure threefold vows,

རྣམ་མང་ཐོས་བསམ་སྒོམ་པའི་ཕ་མཐར་སོན། །

nam mang tö sam gompé patar sön

May you reach perfection in multifaceted study, reflection and meditation,

རྣམ་ཀུན་འཆད་རྩོད་རྩོམ་པས་དུས་འདའ་ཞིང་། །

namkün ché tsö tsompé dü da zhing

May you spend all your time teaching, debating and composing,

རྣམ་དཀར་ཕྲིན་ལས་རྟག་ཏུ་རྒྱས་གྱུར་ཅིག །

namkar trinlé taktu gyé gyur chik

And may your virtuous activity always flourish!

 

མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་བསྐལ་བརྒྱར་འཚོ་གཞེས་ཤིང་། །

chok gi tulku kal gyar tso zhé shing

Supreme emanation, may you remain for a hundred aeons.

ཐུགས་ཀྱི་བཞེད་དོན་མ་ལུས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ནས། །

tuk kyi zhedön malü lhündrub né

May all your enlightened aspirations be spontaneously fulfilled,

མཁྱེན་རབ་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྗེ་བཙུན་ས་སྐྱ་པའི། །

khyenrab wangchuk jetsün sakyapé

And may the sun of the teachings of the venerable Sakyapa,

བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་སྲིད་ན་འབར་གྱུར་ཅིག །

tenpé nyima si na bar gyur chik

Lord of wisdom, blaze throughout the world!

 

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་ངག་དབང་ལེགས་པས་རེ་སྨོན་བདེན་ཚིག་སྙིང་གི་དཀྱིལ་ནས་ཞུས་པ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་བཅིག །

The buddhist monk Ngawang Lekpa offered these words of truth and aspiration from the core of his heart. May they be fulfilled just so!
