Praise of Kunga Yeshe

༄༅། །བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་གཞུང་ལུགས་རབ་འབྱམས་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་བཞུགས་སོ།།

Praise of Kunga Yeshe, Great Being and Master of Extensive Scriptural Traditions

ཨོཾ་སྭ་སྟི།

om swasti

Oṃ svasti!

རབ་འབྱམས་རྒྱལ་ཀུན༵་འདུས་པའི་ཞལ། །

rabjam gyal kündüpé zhal

Personification of all the infinite victorious buddhas,

མཐོང་ཐོས་དྲན་རེག་ཙམ་གྱིས་ཀྱང་། །

tong tö dren rek tsam gyi kyang

Merely to see, hear, touch or remember you,

ཕན་བདེའི་དག༵འ་སྟོན་འགྱེད་མཛད་པ། །

pendé gatön gyé dzepa

Brings a joyous celebration of benefit and happiness—

ཡེ༵་ཤེ༵ས་ལུས་ཅན་དེ་ལ་འདུད། །

yeshe lüchen dé la dü

Embodiment of wisdom, to you I bow down!

ཤེས་བྱ་མ་ལུས་སྟོན་པའི་གསུང་། །

sheja malü tönpé sung

Your speech reveals all that is knowable,

ཀུ༵ན་དག༵འི་དཔལ་དུ་སྤྲོས་པའི་ཚེ། །

kün gé pal du tröpé tsé

Unfolding as the splendour of total joy—

འཇམ་དཔལ་ཡེ༵་ཤེ༵ས་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡི། །

jampal yeshe sempa yi

To you who possess the liberative speech

གསུང་གི་རྣམ་ཐར་རྫོགས་ལ་འདུད། །

sung gi namtar dzok la dü

Of the wisdom being Mañjuśrī, I bow down!

ཆོས་རྣམས་ཀུན༵་གྱི་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད། །

chö nam kün gyi dezhin nyi

You illumine the nature of all phenomena

དག༵འ་བཞིའི་ལམ་གྱིས་གསལ་མཛད་པ། །

ga zhi lam gyi sal dzepa

Through the path of the four joys,

བདེ་སྟོང་ཟུང་འཇུག་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར། །

detong zungjuk ngön du gyur

And, realising the union of bliss and emptiness,

ཡེ༵་ཤེ༵ས་ལྔ་ལྡན་ཐུགས་ལ་འདུད། །

yeshe ngaden tuk la dü

Possess the five wisdoms—to you I bow down!

མཁས་ཀུན༵་དག༵འ་བར་བྱེད་པ་ཡི། །

khé küngawar jepa yi

You bring delight to all the learned ones,

ལུང་རྟོགས་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གཏེར། །

lungtok yönten gyatsö ter

A treasury of oceanic qualities of scripture and realization,

ཡེ༵་ནས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པས་ན། །

yené lhün gyi drubpé na

All spontaneously perfect from the very beginning—

ཀུན་ཤེ༵ས་ཀུན་རིག་དེ་ལ་འདུད། །

kün shé kün rik dé la dü

To the one with universal knowledge and awareness, I bow down!

འགྲོ་ཀུན༵་དགེ་ལེགས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཡི། །

dro kün gelek gyatso yi

Your excellent activity brings the joyousness

དག༵འ་མཛད་འཕྲིན་ལས་བཟང་པོ་གང་། །

ga dzetrin lé zangpo gang

Of oceanic virtue and goodness for all beings,

འཁོར་བ་ཇི་སྲིད་གནས་ཀྱི་བར། །

khorwa jisi né kyi bar

And for as long as saṃsāra itself remains,

ཡེ༵་ཤེ༵ས་རོལ་པས་སྟོན་ལ་འདུད། །

yeshe rolpé tön la dü

You will reveal your wisdom display—to you I bow down!

ཅེས་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་ངག་ལེགས་པས་བྲིས་པའོ།། ། །མངྒ་ལཾ།།
