སྐྱབས་ཡུལ་གསལ་བཏབ་ནི།

The visualization of the sources of refuge is as follows:

རང་སྣང་དག་པའི་ས་ཕྱོགས་ཞིང་།  །

rangnang dakpé sachok zhing

My own perception is a pure realm

བདེ་བ་ཅན་གྱི་བཀོད་པ་ལྟར།  །

dewachen gyi köpa tar

Arranged like Sukhāvatī, Land of Bliss—

ཡིད་འཕྲོག་ངོ་མཚར་འབྱམས་ཀླས་པའི།  །

yitrok ngotsar jamlepé

Boundless, wondrous and enchanting.

རང་གི་མདུན་གྱི་ནམ་མཁར་དབུས།  །

rang gi dün gyi namkhar ü

In the middle of the space before me,

སེང་ཁྲི་པདྨ་ཉི་གདན་ལ།  །

sengtri pema nyi den la

On a lion throne, lotus and sun-disc,

རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་དཔལ་ཆེན་པོ།  །

tsawé lama palchenpo

My magnificent root guru appears

སེངྷེ་ཤྭ་ར་དམར་སྨུག་མདངས།  །

senghé shara marmuk dang

As Siṃheśvara²—reddish brown in colour,

ཁྲོ་འཛུམ་སྒེག་པའི་ཉམས་དང་ལྡན།  །

tro dzum gekpé nyam dangden

With a wrathful smile and graceful charm,

དར་དང་རིན་ཆེན་རུས་པས་བརྒྱན།  །

dar dang rinchen rüpé gyen

He wears silks, jewels and bone ornaments.

ཕྱག་གཉིས་མཉམ་བཞག་ཞབས་རྡོར་སྐྱིལ།  །

chak nyi nyamzhak zhab dor kyil

His two hands in equanimity, he sits in vajra posture.

དབུ་གཙུག་བརྒྱུད་པའི་བླ་མ་ནི།  །

u tsuk gyüpé lama ni

The lineage gurus are seated in tiers

ཐོ་བརྩེགས་ཚུལ་དུ་བཞུགས་པ་དང་།  །

to tsek tsul du zhukpa dang

Above the crown of his head.

མཐའ་བསྐོར་བརྒྱུད་གསུམ་བླ་མའི་ཚོགས།  །

ta kor gyü sum lamé tsok

Around him are the gurus of the three lineages of transmission,

ཡི་དམ་དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་དང་།  །

yidam pawo khandro dang

The yidams, vīras and ḍākinīs,

ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་རྣམས།  །

chökyong norlha terdak nam

Dharmapālas, wealth deities and treasure-keepers.

ཡེ་ཤེས་གཅིག་གི་རོལ་པ་ལས།  །

yeshe chik gi rolpa lé

Unceasingly, from the play of unique wisdom,

མ་འགགས་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་ཅིར་ཡང་འཆར།  །

magak gyutrul chiryang char

Illusion manifests in all manner of forms,

མངོན་སུམ་བཞིན་དུ་གསལ་བར་གྱུར།  །

ngönsum zhindu salwar gyur

As vividly clear as if present directly.

༧སྐྱབས་རྗེ་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་པདྨ་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེས་འབྲུག་པུརྞ་ཁའི་མཁན་ཆེན་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཡེ་ཤེས་སེངྒེ་ལ་སྨིན་ཁྲིད་སྐབས་སྩལ་བའི་ཕྱག་བྲིས་དངོས་ལས་ཞལ་བཤུས་པའོ།  །།  །

This was copied from a manuscript produced when Kyabjé Khyentse Dorje Chang Pema Yeshe Dorje granted the empowerment and instructions to Khenchen Jamyang Yeshe Senggé of Punakha, Bhutan.
