Ahoye!

སྟེང་རྣམ་དག་འཇའ་འོད་འཁྲིགས་པ་ཡི་ཀློང་ན། །

teng namdak ja ö trikpa yi long na

Residing in the utterly pure expanse of rainbow light above

ཕ་རྩ་གསུམ་ཀུན་འདུས་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་དེ་བཞུགས་ཡོད། །

pa tsa sum kündü pema jungné dé zhuk yö

Is father Padmasambhava, embodiment of all Three Roots,

འཁོར་རིག་འཛིན་དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཡི་བསྐོར་ནས། །

khor rigdzin pawo khandro yi kor né

Surrounded by a retinue of vidyādharas, vīras and ḍākinīs.

བུ་བདག་ལ་དགྱེས་པའི་འཛུམ་ཞལ་ནི་ལམ་མེ། །

bu dak la gyepé dzum zhal ni lammé

Reveal to this child of yours your radiant and joyous smile.

མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་དང་ནུས་པ་ཚད་མེད་ཀྱི་གཏེར་ཆེན། །

khyentsé dang nüpa tsemé kyi terchen

Great treasury of boundless knowledge, love and capacity,

མི་བདག་གི་རེ་ལྟོས་འདུན་པ་ཡི་གཏད་ས། །

mi dak gi ré tö dünpa yi tesa

You are the one in whom I place all my hope and trust,

ཕ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བསླུ་བ་ནི་མི་སྲིད། །

pa khyé kyi tukjé luwa ni mi si

For your paternal compassion could never let me down.

དུས་བཟང་པོ་ཚེས་བཅུའི་མཆོད་པ་ཡི་དུས་ཆེན། །

dü zangpo tsé chü chöpa yi dü chen

The excellent occasion is the great festival of the tenth day,

ཡུལ་གནས་དང་ཉེ་གནས་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཡི་འདུ་བ། །

yul né dang nyené khandro yi duwa

When the ḍākinīs of the sacred places and locality gather.

ཚད་བཟུང་ལས་འདས་པའི་ཚོགས་གྲལ་གྱི་དབུས་ན། །

tsé zung lé depé tsokdral gyi ü na

And in the midst of this immeasurably vast assembly,

ང་གཏད་མེད་རིག་པའི་ཁྱེའུ་ཆུང་འདི་སྐྱིད་དོ། །

nga temé rigpé khyé'u chung di kyi do

I, an aimless, carefree child of awareness, am content.

ཚོགས་འདོད་ཡོན་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་ནམ་མཁའ་ལྟར་ཁྱབ་ཅིང་། །

tsok döyön trinpung namkha tar khyab ching

The delights of the feast fill the sky like billowing clouds,

ལྷ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་དབང་པོས་དགྱེས་རྒུར་ནི་རོལ་པས། །

lha dorjé wangpö gyé gur ni rolpé

And with vajra faculties the deities savour every pleasure,

ཉམས་བདེ་ཆེན་ཟག་བྲལ་དགའ་བཞི་ནི་འབར་རོ། །

nyam dechen zakdral ga zhi ni bar ro

Thereby igniting fourfold joy and immaculate great bliss.

སྒྲ་གྲགས་སྟོང་ཨ་དཱི་ཀ་དཱི་ཡི་མཆོད་དོ། །

dra drak tong a di ka di yi chö do

Sounds are a vowel and consonant gift—audible, empty.

སྐུ་གར་གྱི་ཉམས་བརྒྱའི་བྲོ་བརྡུང་ནི་ཁྲིགས་སེ། །

ku gar gyi nyam gyé drodung ni trik sé

Form is the dazzling display of the hundred modes of dance,

ཐུགས་ཨ་ཧཾ་འབར་འཛག་བདེ་སྟོང་གིས་མྱོས་པས། །

tuk a hang bar dzak detong gi nyöpé

Mind is a-haṃ, blazing, dripping, empty-bliss intoxication,

རྩ་འཁོར་ལོ་བཞི་ཡི་ལྷ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་གར་བསྒྱུར། །

tsakhor lo zhi yi lhatsok kyi gar gyur

Which causes the assembled deities of the four chakras to dance.

ལུས་ཕུང་ཁམས་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་ལྷར་སྣང་དུ་བྱིན་རློབས། །

lü pung kham kyemché lhar nang du jin lob

Inspire perception of bodily skandhas, elements and sources as deities,

ངག་སྲོག་རྩོལ་འགྲོ་འོང་དབུ་མ་རུ་དེངས་ནས། །

ngak soktsol dro ong uma ru deng né

Cause speech and prāṇa to dissolve within the central channel,

ཡིད་རྟོག་ཚོགས་འོད་གསལ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡི་སྦུབས་ཞུགས། །

yi toktsok ösal chenpo yi bub zhuk

And let mind and mental states enter the sphere of great luminosity.

གཞི་པདྨ་དྲྭ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡི་ཞིང་དུ། །

zhi pema drawa chenpo yi zhing du

Within the fundamental pureland, the realm of the great Lotus Net,

འབྲས་རང་རིག་སྐུ་གསུམ་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྗེའི་ཞལ་མཇལ། །

dré rangrig ku sum tsokyé jé zhal jal

May I encounter Tsokye Dorje, the three kāyas of my own awareness,

མ་འགྲོ་དྲུག་འཁོར་བ་དོང་སྤྲུགས་སུ་ཤོག་ཅིག །

ma dro druk khorwa dongtruk su shok chik

And may the six classes of mother-beings be freed from saṃsāra’s depths.

ཅེས་པའང་ལྕགས་འབྲུག་དབོ་ཟླ་བའི་ཚེས་བཅུར་གླིང་རྗེ་ཡབ་སྲས་སོགས་དང་ཐུགས་སྒྲུབ་བར་ཆད་ཀུན་སེལ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འདུ་བར་སྤྱོད་པའི་སྐབས་བྲིས་བའོ།། །།

Written on the occasion of performing a feast gathering of Tukdrup Barche Kunsel together with the King of Ling, his heirs and others, on the tenth day of the Phālguna [i.e., second] month of the Iron Dragon year.
