༄༅། །དགེ་རྩེ་འགྱུར་མེད་བསྟན་པ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གྱི་མྱུར་བྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Prayer for the Swift Rebirth of Getse Gyurme Tenpa Namgyal¹

ཨོཾ་སྭསྟི།

om svasti

Oṃ svasti!

བླ་མ་རྩ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་དང་།    །

lama tsa sum gyalwa gyatso dang

May the ocean of gurus, Three Roots and victorious ones,

ཁྱད་པར་སྐྱབས་མགོན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཆེན་པོའི།    །

khyepar kyabgön dorjé chang chenpö

And especially the great Vajradhara, lord of refuge,

ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཀློང་ནས་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཤུགས་ཕྱུངས་ཏེ།    །

chöying long né tukjé shuk chung té

Show the full force of compassion from the expanse of the dharma-sphere,

མ་འགགས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་ཟླ་སྣང་བསྟན་དུ་གསོལ།    །

magak trulpé da nang ten du sol

To reveal the moon-like appearance of an emanation.

སྔ་འགྱུར་བསྟན་པའི་ཉི་མ་ནུབ་རིར་གཞོལ།    །

ngagyur tenpé nyima nub rir zhol

As the sun of the Early Translation teachings sets beneath the western peaks,

བདག་སོགས་གདུལ་བྱའི་སློབ་ཚོགས་སྐྱབས་བྲལ་གྱུར།    །

dak sok duljé lob tsok kyabdral gyur

We, the hosts of disciples to be trained, are left without protection.

མགོན་མེད་ཉམས་ཐག་འགྲོ་ལ་བརྩེར་དགོངས་ནས།    །

gönmé nyam tak dro la tser gong né

Look lovingly upon us, the protectorless and destitute,

མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་མྱུར་དུ་འབྱོན་པར་གསོལ།    །

chok gi tulku nyurdu jönpar sol

And return swiftly, we pray, in a supreme nirmāṇakāya form.

བར་ཆད་བདུད་ཀྱི་དཔུང་གིས་མི་ཚུགས་ཤིང་།  །

barché dü kyi pung gi mitsuk shing

Immune to obstacles and the forces of Māra,

བསླུ་མེད་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྣང་བརྙན་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན།    །

lumé trulpé nangnyen khyepar chen

May you return as a genuine, exceptional emanation,

སྔ་འགྱུར་བསྟན་པའི་མགོན་དུ་འབྱོན་ནས་ཀྱང་།    །

ngagyur tenpé gön du jön né kyang

A guardian of the teachings of the Ancient Translations,

བསྟན་འགྲོའི་དོན་ཆེན་བསྒྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ།    །

ten drö dön chen drubpar dzé du sol

And bring vast benefit to the teachings and beings, we pray.

ཅེས་པའང་སྐྱབས་རྗེ་དགེ་རྩེའི་མཆོག་སྤྲུལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཞི་བར་ཆེན་པོར་ཐུགས་གཞོལ་སྐབས་སུ་གང་གི་གསུང་གི་བདུད་རྩིར་སྤྱོད་པོ་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་ཀྱིས་སྨོན་པ་དེ་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་ཏུ་གསོལ།  མངྒ་ལཾ།  འཕྲལ་དུ་བྲིས་ཏེ་ཕུལ་བར་དགྱེས་བཞེས་ཞུ།།    །།

When Kyabje Getse Choktrul Rinpoche merged his wisdom mind with the great peace of the dharmadhātu, I, Jamyang Chökyi Lodrö, who savoured the nectar of the master’s teachings, made this aspiration. May it be blessed to come to pass just so. Maṅgalam. May what was written and offered in haste be gladly received!
