Prayer to Three Deities of Long Life

༄༅། །འཆི་མེད་ཚེ་ལྷ་རྣམ་གསུམ་ལ་འདོད་དོན་དངོས་གྲུབ་བསྐུལ་བ་འཆི་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ།    །

The Melody of the Deathless Vajra

Imploring the Three Deities of Immortal Life to Fulfil Wishes and Grant Attainment

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་ཨརྱ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཡེ།

Namo guru ārya-tārāyai!

 

ཨོཾ་སྭ་སྟི།

om swasti

Oṃ svasti.

འཆི་མེད་རྟག་པ་དམ་པའི་སྐུ།    །

chimé takpa dampé ku

Your sublime form is deathless and eternal,

འགགས་མེད་ཚངས་དབྱངས་ནཱ་དའི་གསུང་།    །

gakmé tsang yang na dé sung

Your nāda-speech the unceasing melody of Brahma,

མི་ཤིག་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཐུགས་མངའ་བ།    །

mi shik dorjé tuk ngawa

Your mind the indestructible vajra wisdom—

བླ་མ་ཡིད་བཞིན་འཁོར་ལོས་སྐྱོངས།    །

lama yizhin khorlö kyong

Guru Wish-Fulfilling Wheel, protect me!

 

རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའི་ལང་ཚོ་བརྙེས།    །

dorjé sempé langtso nyé

You have gained the youthfulness of Vajrasattva,

བདེ་ཆེན་ཁ་སྦྱོར་གྲུབ་པ་ཡི།    །

dechen khajor drubpa yi

And are constantly intoxicated by the nectar

ཟུང་འཇུག་བདུད་རྩིའི་རྟག་མྱོས་པ།    །

zungjuk dütsi tak nyöpa

Of the great blissful play of union—

རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བྱིན་བརླབས་རྩོལ།    །

tsa gyü lamé jinlab tsol

Root and lineage masters, grant your blessings!¹

 

དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཡུམ།    །

dü sum gyalwa kün gyi yum

Mother of all the victorious ones of the three times,

ཤེས་རབ་ཕ་རོལ་ཕྱིན་མའི་སྐུ།    །

sherab parol chin mé ku

Your form that of the Perfection of Wisdom,

གྲུབ་གཉིས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ་མཛད་མ།    །

drub nyi ngödrub tsol dzé ma

Bestower of the two forms of attainment,

ཡིད་བཞིན་འཁོར་ལོས་རྗེས་གཟུང་མཛོད།    །

yizhin khorlö jé zung dzö

Wish-Fulfilling Wheel, accept and care for me!

 

ཟླ་བ་དུང་དང་ཆུ་ཤེལ་གྱི།    །

dawa dung dang chushel gyi

The brilliant light from a billion

འོད་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་བྱེ་བས་ཀྱང་།    །

ö kyi pungpo jewé kyang

Moons, conches and water crystals

ཆ་ཙམ་བསྐྲུན་དུ་མ་མཆིས་པ།    །

cha tsam trün duma chipa

Could not produce a fraction of your radiance—

སོ་སོར་རྟོགས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི།    །

sosor tokpé yeshe kyi

Amitāyus, the natural play

རང་རྩལ་ཚེ་དཔག་མེད་ལ་འདུད།    །

rang tsal tsepakmé la dü

Of the wisdom of discernment, to you I bow.

 

དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་གཙུག་ཏོར་ལས།    །

dezhin shekpé tsuktor lé

Born from the uṣṇīṣa of the tathāgatas,

ཉེར་འཁྲུངས་འཆི་བདག་བདུད་ཚོགས་ཀུན།    །

nyer trung chidak dü tsok kün

With your powerful vidyā-mantra,

རིག་སྔགས་ནུས་པས་བཅོམ་མཛད་མ།    །

rik ngak nüpé chom dzé ma

You who conquer all the demonic forces of the Lord of Death,

རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བསྟོད།    །

nampar gyal la chaktsal tö

Vijayā, to you I offer homage and praise.

 

འཆི་མེད་ཚེ་ལྷ་རྣམ་གསུམ་གྱི།    །

chimé tselha nam sum gyi

Through completing the approach, accomplishment and activity

བསྙེན་སྒྲུབ་ལས་སྦྱོར་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པས།    །

nyendrub lé jor tarchinpé

Of the three deities of immortal life,

འཆི་བདག་བདུད་ལས་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ།    །

chidak dü lé nampar gyal

May I gain victory over the forces of the Lord of Death

ཚེ་བསོད་ཡེ་ཤེས་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ།    །

tsesö yeshe ngödrub tsol

And may you grant me the attainments of longevity, merit and wisdom.

 

དངོས་གྲུབ་དམ་པས་བདག་རྒྱུད་ཕྱུག  །

ngödrub dampé dak gyü chuk

May my mindstream be rich with magnificent attainments,

སྣོད་བཅུད་འཆི་མེད་དགེ་མཚན་རྒྱས།    །

nöchü chimé getsen gyé

May signs of deathlessness permeate the environment and those within it,

སྲིད་ཞིའི་དྭངས་བཅུད་འཕེལ་བ་དང་།    །

sizhi dangchü pelwa dang

May the vital essence of existence and quiescence be enhanced,

རྟག་པ་དམ་པའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག  །

takpa dampé tashi shok

And may all be auspicious for there to be sublime everlastingness!

 

ཅེས་པའང་རང་ལོ་སོ་གསུམ་པའི་ཚེ་ཡི་བར་ཆད་ཞི་ཕྱིར་དགོངས་གཏེར་འཕགས་མའི་བསྙེན་སྒྲུབ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པའི་སྐབས།  རིག་འཛིན་ཀུན་བཟང་འོད་གསལ་སྙིང་པོ་རྩལ་གྱིས་ཡེ་རྒྱལ་ནམ་མཁའ་མཛོད་ཀྱི་མདུན་རོལ་གསང་སྔགས་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་ཡང་རྩེར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་སིདྡྷི་རསྟུ།།    །།

Thus, having completed the approach and accomplishment for the mind treasure of the Sublime Lady as a means of pacifying obstacles to longevity during my thirty-third year, I, Rigdzin Kunzang Ösal Nyingpo Tsal, offered this prayer at the top of Sang-ngak Podrang in front of Yegyal Namkha Dzö. Siddhirastu!
