Loter Wangpo Prayer

༄༅། །རྩ་བའི་བླ་མར་གསོལ་འདེབས་བཞུགས།    །

Prayer to My Root Guru, Jamyang Loter Wangpo

ཁྱབ་བདག་གསང་བའི་བདག་པོ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་།    །

khyabdak sangwé dakpo dorjé chang

All-pervasive sovereign, lord of secrets, Vajra Holder,

རབ་འབྱམས་རྒྱུད་སྡེ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གཙོ།    །

rabjam gyüdé gyatsö kyilkhor tso

Chief of the maṇḍalas of the infinite, ocean-like tantras,

དྲན་པས་སྲིད་ཞིའི་འཇིགས་པ་འཕྲོག་མཛད་པ།    །

drenpé sizhi jikpa trok dzepa

To think of you allays the anxieties of existence and quiescence—

འཇམ་དབྱངས་བློ་གཏེར་དབང་པོར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས།    །

jamyang loter wangpor solwa deb

Jamyang Loter Wangpo, to you I pray.

གང་སྐུ་མཐོང་བས་བདེ་ཆེན་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐྱེད།    །

gang ku tongwé dechen yeshe kyé

Seeing your form brings the wisdom of great bliss;

གང་གསུང་ཐོས་པས་མ་རིག་མུན་པ་སེལ།    །

gang sung töpé marik münpa sel

Hearing your voice dispels the darkness of ignorance;

གང་ཐུགས་དྲན་པས་རང་རིག་ཆོས་སྐུར་སྟོན།    །

gang tuk drenpé rangrig chökur tön

Recalling your mind reveals the dharmakāya of my own awareness—

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས།    །

palden lamé zhab la solwa deb

Glorious guru, at your feet I pray.

བླ་མ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀཿདཔལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་།    །

lama heruka pal dorjé chang

Guru heruka, glorious Vajradhara,

ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཡལ་བར་མི་འདོར་ཤིང་།    །

khyö kyi tukjé yalwar mi dor shing

Do not neglect me in your compassion,

སྒོ་གསུམ་འཁྲུལ་པ་རྩད་ནས་ཆོད་པ་དང་།    །

go sum trulpa tsené chöpa dang

But eradicate the delusion of my three doors

རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་གྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྨིན་པར་མཛོད།    །

dorjé sum gyi yeshe minpar dzö

And cause the wisdom of the three vajras to mature.

ཅེས་པའང་བླ་མ་དྲན་པའི་ངང་ནས་ཐོལ་བྱུང་དུ་བྲིས་པའོ།།    །།
