Sur Offering

༄༅། །དམ་སྲི་རྒྱལ་འགོང་སོགས་ལ་གསུར་སྦྱིན་གཏོང་ཚུལ།

A Means of Offering Sur to the Damsi, Gyalgong and Others

ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ

hung hrih

Hūṃ hrīḥ!

བདག་ཉིད་པདྨ་དྲག་པོར་གསལ། །

daknyi pema drakpor sal

I appear clearly as the wrathful Padma,

ཐུགས་ནས་ཊཱཀྐི་རཱ་ཛ་བྱུང་། །

tuk né takki radza jung

From whose heart arises Ṭakkirāja,

ང་བདག་གཉིས་འཛིན་འཁྲུལ་པ་ཡི། །

nga dak nyidzin trulpa yi

To summon before me the damsi and gyalgong

དམ་སྲི་རྒྱལ་འགོང་མདུན་དུ་བཀུག །

damsi gyalgong dündu kuk

Of the deluded clinging to an “I” or a self.

ཤ་ཁྲག་གསུར་གྱི་སྦྱིན་པ་འདི། །

sha trak sur gyi jinpa di

This gift of the sur of flesh and blood expands

ཟད་མེད་འདོད་ཡོན་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྤེལ། །

zemé döyön gyacher pel

To become a vast, inexhaustible source of all that is desired.

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།

om ah hung

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ

ཁ་འབར་མའི་སྔགས་རྒྱས་བསྔོ།

Dedicate with the mantra and mudrā of Jvālāmukhī.

ཀྱཻ། སྲིད་པར་བདག་ཏུ་རྟོག་པ་ཡི། །

kyé, sipar dak tu tokpa yi

Kyé! Arisen from the pride of conceiving of a self

ང་རྒྱལ་ལས་སྐྱེས་རྒྱལ་འགོང་ཚོགས། །

ngagyal lé kyé gyalgong tsok

In conditioned existence, all you hosts of gyalgong,

བདག་གི་སྦྱིན་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་འདིས། །

dak gi jinpa gyachen di

Take pleasure in this vast gift of mine,

མགུ་ཞིང་ཚིམས་ནས་གནོད་སེམས་སྤོངས། །

gu zhing tsim né nösem pong

And satisfied, give up all thoughts of harm

བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པར་མཛོད། །

changchub sem dang denpar dzö

And embrace the spirit of awakening.

འདི་རུ་མ་འདུག་གཞན་དུ་སོང་། །

diru ma duk zhendu song

Do not remain here but go elsewhere.

གལ་ཏེ་མི་འགྲོ་འཚེ་བྱེད་ན། །

galté mi dro tsé jé na

If you do not depart but instead cause harm

པདྨ་དྲག་པོའི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས། །

pema drakpö tutob kyi

Have no doubt that you will be annihilated

རྡུལ་དུ་བརླག་པར་གདོན་མི་ཟ། །

dul du lakpar dön mi za

Through the power and might of wrathful Padma.

དེ་བས་དམ་ལ་གནས་པར་གྱིས། །

dewé dam la nepar gyi

So abide by your pledges.

བྷུ་ཏ་གཙྪ།

bhut gatsa

Bhūta gaccha!

སྦྱིན་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་སོགས་བྱའོ། །

Continue with “Through the power of this vast act of generosity… (jinpa gyachen…) etc.”

ཞེས་པའང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་སོ། །དགེའོ།། །།
