Aspiration for the Great Perfection

ཡེ་གདངས་དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་སྙིང་པོའི་དོན། །
yé dang dön gyi ösal nyingpö dön
The essence of luminous wisdom is primordial radiance,
བཅོས་བསླད་དགག་སྒྲུབ་བྲལ་བ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཞལ། །
chö lé gak drub dralwa chökü zhal
The face of dharmakāya, free from modification, corruption, refutation, or proof.
ཡོད་མེད་འགལ་འདུ་གཅིག་དང་དུ་མ་སོགས། །
yömé galdu chik dang duma sok
Beyond the eight extremes, such as the contradictions of existence and non-existence,
མཐའ་བརྒྱད་བྲལ་བའི་རིག་སྟོང་ཟངས་མ་ཐལ། །
ta gyé dralwé riktong zangma tal
Or unity and multiplicity, it is the transparent, naked union of awareness and emptiness.
ཀ་དག་གཞི་ཡི་རང་གདངས་མངོན་གྱུར་ཤོག །
kadak zhi yi rang dang ngöngyur shok
May the natural radiance of the primordially pure ground be actualized!
ཡེ་དག་བལྟ་བྱ་བྲལ་བའི་ལྟ་བ་དང༌། །
yé dak taja dralwé tawa dang
The view is primordially pure and devoid of any object to be viewed;
སྤང་བླང་རྩོལ་སྒྲུབ་བྲལ་བའི་སྒོམ་པ་དང༌། །
panglang tsoldrub dralwé gompa dang
Meditation is free of acceptance, rejection, effort, and achievement;
རེ་དོགས་གཟའ་གཏད་བྲལ་བའི་སྤྱོད་པ་སྟེ། །
redok zaté dralwé chöpa té
And conduct is free of hope and fear, bias and fixation.
ལམ་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་གོལ་འཆུག་བྲལ་བར་ཤོག །
lam gyi ösal gol chuk dralwar shok
May the path's luminosity be free of all errors and deviations!
རང་བྱུང་དོན་གྱི་གནས་ལུགས་ཆེན་པོའི་ངང༌། །
rangjung dön gyi neluk chenpö ngang
Within the great, natural, and fundamental nature, the qualities of the fruition,
སྐུ་བཞི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔ་སོགས་འབྲས་ཆོས་རྣམས། །
ku zhi yeshe nga sok dré chö nam
Such as the four kāyas and five wisdoms,
མཁའ་ལ་འཇའ་ཚོན་ཤར་བ་ཇི་བཞིན་དུ། །
kha la jatsön sharwa jizhin du
Are like rainbows appearing in the sky—
ཀ་དག་གཉུག་མའི་ངང་དུ་ཡེ་ནས་རྫོགས། །
kadak nyukmé ngang du yené dzok
Perfect from the very first within the primordially pure, innate nature.
འོད་གསལ་འབྲས་བུའི་རང་གདངས་མངོན་གྱུར་ཤོག །
ösal drebü rang dang ngöngyur shok
May the natural resonance of the luminous fruition be made manifest!
ཅེས་པའང་རྒྱ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་དཔལ་གྱིས་ཡང་ཡང་བསྐུལ་ངོར་སྤྲང་རྒན་བསྟན་མིང་པས་བྲིས་སོ།། །།
