A Prayer to Be Cared for in All Lives to Come

བསླབ་གསུམ་རྣམ་དག་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་དབྱིག  །

lab sum namdak tsultrim gyatsö yik

Veritable jewel arisen from the ocean of discipline of the three pure trainings,

མང་ཐོས་སྣང་བས་རྨོངས་པའི་མུན་པ་སེལ།  །

mang tö nangwé mongpé münpa sel

Through the light of your vast learning, you dispel the darkness of confusion.¹

ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཆེན་པོའི་བྱིན་རླབས་སྙིང་ལ་ཤར།  །

künkhyen chenpö jinlab nying la shar

The blessing of the Great Omniscient One² has arisen in your heart,

ཀ་ལྷུན་གོམས་པས་ཉམས་མྱོང་མཐར་སོན་པའི།  །

ka lhün gompé nyamnyong tarsönpé

And you have perfected the experience of primordial purity and spontaneous presence—

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མ་དེ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས།  །

palden lama dé la solwa deb

Glorious guru, I supplicate you!

ཚེ་རབས་ཀུན་ཏུ་རྗེས་སུ་འཛིན་པ་དང་།  །

tserab küntu jesu dzinpa dang

Pray, hold me in your compassion in this and all my lives to come.

སྐལ་ལྡན་སློབ་ཚོགས་སྣང་བཞི་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ནས།  །

kalden lob tsok nang zhi tarchin né

Cause us fortunate disciples to perfect the four visions

འབྲེལ་ཚད་པདྨོ་བཀོད་པའི་ཞིང་དུ་དྲོངས།    །

dreltsé pemo köpé zhing du drong

And lead all with a connection to the pure realm of Lotus Array.

ཅེས་སྐལ་ལྡན་སློབ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རིན་ཆེན་གཉིས་པ་དང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་ལྷ་རེག་བཅས་བསྐུལ་ངོ་མི་ལྡོག་ཙམ་དུ་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པའོ།།

Merely to avoid refusing the request of those fortunate disciples who offered silver and an aupicious scarf of celestial silk, I spoke these words myself.
