The Wish-Granting King of Jewels: An Essential Garland of Offerings

ཧོཿ སྣང་སྲིད་རྣམ་དག་མཉམ་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ལས། །

ho, nangsi namdak nyampa chenpo lé

Ho! Out of the great purity and equalness of appearance and existence,

མ་འགག་རང་སྣང་ཀུན་བཟང་མཆོད་པའི་སྤྲིན། །

ma gak rangnang kunzang chöpé trin

Samantabhadra's offering clouds appear spontaneously without obstruction:

ལྷ་རྫས་ཉེར་སྤྱོད་བདུན་དང་འདོད་ཡོན་དྲུག །

lhadzé nyerchö dün dang döyön druk

Divine substances, the seven outer offerings and stimulants of the six senses,

རྒྱལ་སྲིད་སྣ་བདུན་བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྫས་རྟགས་བརྒྱད། །

gyalsi na dün tashi dzé tak gyé

The seven emblems of royalty and eight auspicious substances,

བུམ་བཟང་དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་དང་ནོར་བུའི་གཏེར། །

bum zang paksam shing dang norbü ter

Excellent vases, wish-fulfilling trees and treasuries of jewels,

བདུད་རྩིའི་སྤྲིན་ཆེན་མ་རྨོས་ལོ་ཏོག་ཚལ། །

dütsi trin chen ma mö lotok tsal

Great clouds of nectar and gardens that yield produce without toil,

འདོད་འཇོའི་བ་མཆོག་གྲུབ་པའི་དམ་རྫས་རིགས། །

döjö bachok drubpé damdzé rik

Supremely bountiful cows and all the sacred substances of accomplishment,

བཟའ་བཏུང་གོས་རྒྱན་ཉེ་བའི་རིན་ཆེན་སོགས། །

zatung gö gyen nyewé rinchen sok

Food, drink, clothing, ornaments and other precious accoutrements,

ལྷ་དང་ཀླུ་དང་གནོད་སྦྱིན་མི་རྣམས་དང༌། །

lha dang lu dang nöjin mi nam dang

All the offering gifts of the gods, nāgas, yakṣas and human beings,

ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་མཆོད་པ་རྣམས། །

chok chü changchub sempé chöpa nam

As well as the offerings of the bodhisattvas throughout the ten directions,

ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་ཀུན་ནས་སྤྲིན་བཞིན་གཏིབས་བྱས་ཤིང༌། །

chok chu künné trin zhin tib jé shing

All gathered together, amassing like clouds from here, there and everywhere—

རབ་འབྱམས་སྐུ་གསུམ་ཞིང་གི་བཀོད་པ་ཀུན། །

rabjam ku sum zhing gi köpa kün

These and all the infinite arrays of the three-kāya realms,

དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལྷ་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པར་འབུལ། །

kyilkhor lhatsok nam la chöpar bul

We offer to the deities of the maṇḍala:

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །

chok dang tünmong ngödrub tsal du sol

Grant us supreme and ordinary accomplishments, we pray.

 

དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་ནས་དགྱེས་བསྐྱེད་པའི། །

dü sum gyalwa künné gyé kyepé

By sending out these clouds of varied offerings,

སྣ་ཚོགས་མཆོད་པའི་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་སྤྲོ་བ་ཡིས། །

natsok chöpé trinpung trowa yi

Which delight all the victorious buddhas of the past, present and future,

ཟག་མེད་བདེ་བའི་དཔལ་སྟེར་ཡིད་འོང་མ། །

zakmé dewé pal ter yi ong ma

The captivating ladies who confer the splendour of immaculate bliss,

བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལྷ་མོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གླུ་གར་གྱིས། །

tashi lhamö tsok kyi lugar gyi

The hosts of auspicious goddesses who sing and dance,

རབ་འབྱམས་ནམ་མཁའི་ཁྱོན་ཀུན་ཡོངས་བཀང་ནས། །

rabjam namkhé khyön kün yong kang né

Fill the whole expanse of space completely,

ལྷ་རྫས་མེ་ཏོག་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཆར་འབེབས་ཤིང༌། །

lhadzé metok tsok kyi charbeb shing

To bring a rain of divine substances and flowers,

བདག་གཞན་སྒོ་གསུམ་དགེ་ཚོགས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཀུན། །

dakzhen go sum gé tsok longchö kün

Which, together with my own and others' virtues of body, speech and mind and all our possessions,

ཟག་མེད་འབྱོར་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་སྤྲིན་དུ་བཀོད། །

zakmé jorpa gyatsö trin du kö

Form clouds of oceanic, inexhaustible riches.

ཆེ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོར་བསྔགས་པ་ཡི། །

chewé yönten gyatsor ngakpa yi

And to the accompaniment of music and song of exaltation

བསྟོད་སྤྲིན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་སྒྲ་དབྱངས་དང་བཅས་ཏེ། །

tö trin gyatsö drayang dangché té

Praising the vast, ocean-like qualities of greatness,

སྣང་སྲིད་བདེ་སྟོང་མཆོད་པའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་རུ། །

nangsi detong chöpé chakgya ru

All these infinite clouds of offering that manifest

རྣམ་པར་སྤྲུལ་པའི་མཆོད་སྤྲིན་རབ་འབྱམས་འདི། །

nampar trulpé chötrin rabjam di

As the offering mudrā of the bliss and emptiness of appearance and existence

དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལྷ་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པར་འབུལ། །

kyilkhor lhatsok nam la chöpar bul

We offer to the deities of the maṇḍala:

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །

chok dang tünmong ngödrub tsal du sol

Grant us supreme and ordinary accomplishments, we pray.

 

རྒྱལ་དང་རྒྱལ་བའི་སྲས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་རོལ་བཞིན། །

gyal dang gyalwé sé kyi namrol zhin

Like a miraculous creation of the buddhas and their heirs,

མཆོད་པ་གང་རྣམས་བླ་མེད་རྒྱ་ཆེ་བ། །

chöpa gang nam lamé gyachewa

All these offerings, vast and unsurpassed,

ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོའི་མཆོད་སྤྲིན་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀྱིས། །

kuntuzangpö chötrin rabjam kyi

Are the infinite, cloud-like offerings of Samantabhadra,

ཕྱོགས་དུས་ཀུན་ཁྱབ་ཀུན་འབྱུང་ཡིད་བཞིན་གཏེར། །

chok dü künkhyab künjung yizhin ter

A wish-granting treasury, a well-spring extending throughout the whole of space and time,

ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་དང་མཉམ་པ་ཉིད་གྱུར་པས། །

chö kyi ying dang nyampa nyi gyurpé

Equal in extent to the dharmadhātu, the absolute expanse,

ཟག་མེད་བདེ་བའི་དཔལ་ཡོན་འཛད་པ་མེད། །

zakmé dewé palyön dzepamé

Granting the inexhaustible splendour of immaculate bliss,

གཟུང་འཛིན་མཚན་མ་ཀུན་ལས་རབ་འདས་པ། །

zungdzin tsenma kün lé rab depa

Perfectly transcending all notions of subject-object duality,

རྨད་བྱུང་མཆོད་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ལྷུན་གྱིས་རྫོགས། །

mejung chöpa chenpo lhün gyi dzok

A vast, wondrous gift that is spontaneously perfect.

སྣང་སྲིད་གདོད་ནས་རྣམ་དག་བདེ་ཆེན་ཞིང༌། །

nangsi döné namdak dechen zhing

Appearance and existence have always been utterly pure, a realm of great bliss,

ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྒྱལ་བའི་འབྱོར་པ་བསམ་མི་ཁྱབ། །

lhündrub gyalwé jorpa sam mikhyab

And the spontaneously present riches of the victorious ones defy the imagination.

མཉམ་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོའི་དབྱིངས། །

nyampa chenpo kuntuzangpö ying

Within Samantabhadra's space of great equality,

བླ་མེད་མཆོག་གི་མཆོད་པ་དམ་པ་འདི། །

lamé chok gi chöpa dampa di

This supreme and unsurpassed, most excellent offering

དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལྷ་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པར་འབུལ། །

kyilkhor lhatsok nam la chöpar bul

We present to the deities of the maṇḍala:

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །

chok dang tünmong ngödrub tsal du sol

Grant us supreme and ordinary accomplishments, we pray.

ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་པཱུ་ཛ་མེ་གྷ་ས་མུ་དྲ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་ས་མ་ཡེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།

om maha pudza megha samudra saparana samayé ah hung

oṃ mahā pūja megha samudra spharaṇa samaye āḥ hūṃ

ཞེས་པའང་མི་ཕམ་པས་སོ།
