༄༅། །བསང་གསུར་ཤིན་ཏུ་བསྡུས་པ་བཞུགས།

An Extremely Concise Sang or Sur Offering

རཾ་ཡཾ་ཁཾ།

ram yam kham

raṃ yaṃ khaṃ

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།

om ah hung

oṃ āḥ hūṃ

འབྲུ་དྲུག་ནུས་མཐུས་བསང་གསུར་ཀུན་བཟང་སྤྲིན། །

dru druk nütü sang sur kunzang trin

By the power of the six syllables, this sang or sur becomes a cloud of Samantabhadra’s offerings.

དཀོན་མཆོག་མཆོད་མགྲོན་མགོན་པོ་ཡོན་ཏན་མགྲོན། །

könchok chö drön gönpo yönten drön

I dedicate it to the guests worthy of veneration, the Three Jewels; to the guests of qualities, the protectors;

རིགས་དྲུག་སྙིང་མགྲོན་ལན་ཆགས་ལྷག་མགྲོན་བསྔོ། །

rik druk nying drön lenchak lhak drön ngo

To the guests invited through compassion, the six classes of beings; and to the guests to whom I owe karmic debt, my creditors.

དགྱེས་སྐོང་འདོད་ཚིམས་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །

gyé kong dö tsim choktün ngödrub tsol

With your desires fulfilled and wishes met, please grant us the supreme and ordinary accomplishments.

སྟོན་པའི་བཀའ་བཞིན་སྡིག་སྤོངས་དགེ་བ་སྒྲུབས། །

tönpé ka zhin dik pong gewa drub

In accordance with the Buddha’s instructions, abandon negativity and practice virtue.

དགེ་འབྲས་འཁོར་གསུམ་དམིགས་མེད་ངང་དུ་བསྔོ། །

gé dré khor sum mikmé ngang du ngo

I dedicate the fruits of this virtue in a state without conception of the three spheres.

དགེ་ལེགས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཕྱོགས་དུས་ཀུན་ཁྱབ་ཤོག །

gelek tashi chok dü künkhyab shok

May virtue, excellence, and auspiciousness pervade all directions and all times!

ཅེས་གོང་གི་ཤླཱོཀ་་དང་། བསྔོ་བ་ཚིག་རྐང་གཅིག་ཞྭ་དེའུ་པ་འཁྲུལ་ཞིག་མདོ་སྔགས་གླིང་པའི་གསུང་ལ། ཆོས་སྦྱིན་དང་སྨོན་ལམ་རྐང་པ་གཉིས་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཝགིནྡྲ་དྷརྨ་མ་ཏིས་ཞལ་སྐོང་ཕུལ་ནས། བསང་གསུར་རྒྱས་པ་མི་ཁོམ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་སྨན་ཕྱིར་སྤེལ་བ་ཛ་ཡནྟུ།། །།

The first śloka and the single line of dedication were composed by Shadeupa Trulshik Do-Ngak Lingpa. The two lines of Dharma offering and aspiration were added as a supplement by Vāgindra Dharmamati (Ngawang Chökyi Lodrö), a monastic follower of Śākyamuni, who now makes this available for the benefit of those who lack the leisure to make extensive sang or sur offerings.
