༄༅། །ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ་འདེབས་འཆི་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་དབྱངས་སྙན།

Sweet Song of Vajra Immortality: A Prayer for Long Life

འཆི་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་གར།    །

chimé yeshe dorjé gyutrul gar

Through the power and blessings of the deathless life and wisdom

འཆི་མེད་ཕྱོགས་དུས་སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཡི།    །

chimé chok dü kyabné gyatso yi

Of an ocean of deathless sources of refuge throughout space and time,

འཆི་མེད་ཚེ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཐུ་བྱིན་གྱིས།    །

chimé tsé dang yeshe tu jin gyi

Illusory dance-like manifestations of deathless vajra wisdom,

འཆི་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་བདེན་ཚིག་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ཅིག  །

chimé dorjé dentsik drub gyur chik

May these deathless vajra words of truth be accomplished.

འཇ༵མ་དཔལ་དབྱང༵ས་སོགས་སྲས་བཅས་རྒྱལ་ཀུན་གྱི།    །

jampal yang sok sé ché gyal kün gyi

The wise knowledge and love of all the Victorious Ones and their heirs,

མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་རིས་མེད་ཐུབ༵་བསྟན༵་སྲོག  །

khyentsé yeshe rimé tubten sok

Including Mañjughoṣa, vital force of the Sage’s nonsectarian teachings,

ཟབ་རྒྱས་ཆོས༵་ཀྱི༵་ཤིང་རྟ་ཆེན་པོ་ཉིད།    །

zabgyé chökyi shingta chenpo nyi

Magnificent champion of the Dharma, which is so profound and vast,

ཕྲིན་ལས་རྒྱ༵་མཚོའི༵་མཐར་ཁྱབ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ།    །

trinlé gyatsö tar khyab zhabten sol

With your activity as far-reaching as the ocean, may your life be long.

གསན་བསམ་སྒོམ་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་མཐའ་དག་རྫོགས།    །

sen sam gompé yönten tadak dzok

May all your qualities of study, contemplation and meditation be perfected,

ཡོངས་རྫོགས་རྒྱལ་བསྟན་འཛིན་སྐྱོང་སྤེལ་མཛད་ཅིང་།    །

yongdzok gyalten dzin kyong pel dzé ching

May you uphold, preserve and propagate Buddha’s teachings in their entirety,

མཐའ་ཀླས་གདུལ་བྱའི་རེ་བ་ཆོས་བཞིན་སྐོང་།    །

talé duljé rewa chö zhin kong

May you fulfil the wishes of infinite disciples in accordance with the Dharma,

འཛམ་གླིང་མཛེས་པའི་རྒྱན་དུ་རྟག་བཞུགས་གསོལ།    །

dzamling dzepé gyen du tak zhuk sol

And may you remain forever, an ornament enhancing the beauty of the world.

ཅེས་འཇམ་དབྱངས་བླ་མ་དགྱེས་པའི་འབངས་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྒྱལ་བའི་གདུང་འཚོབ་པདྨ་གར་དབང་མདོ་སྔགས་གླིང་པའམ།  ཡོངས་སུ་གྲགས་པའི་མིང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་དཔལ་འབྱོར་དུ་འབོད་པས་༧ས་སྐྱ་བདག་ཁྲི་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་མཚན་གསོལ་དང་མཐུན་པར་ཞབས་བརྟན་དུ་དབང་ཆེན་སྤྲེལ་ལོ་སྤྲེལ་ཟླའི་ཚེས་བཅུར་སྐུ་ཚབ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུ་དངོས་གྲུབ་དཔལ་འབར་མདུན་གསོལ་སྨོན་རྩེ་གཅིག་པས་བྲིས་པ་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག  །དགེའོ།    །དགེའོ།    །དགེའོ།།    །།

Thus, the servant who delights the Mañjughoṣa Guru, an heir of the Lake-Born Victor, who is called Pema Garwang Do-ngak Lingpa, or, as he is widely known, Tashi Paljor, wrote this long-life supplication with single-pointed prayer and aspiration on the tenth day of the monkey month in the powerful Monkey year, in the presence of the wish-fulfilling jewel-like kutsab Ngödrup Palbar,¹ in accordance with the name that has been bestowed by Sakya Daktri Rinpoche. May it be accomplished! Let it be virtuous! Let it be virtuous! Let it be virtuous!
