ཨོཾ་སྭ་སྟི།

om svasti

Oṃ svasti!

འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཉིན་བྱེད་རབ་གསལ་བར། །

jamyang khyenpé nyinjé rabsalwar

Illuminating Sun of Mañjuśrī’s wisdom,

ཀུན་ཁྱབ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་འོད་ཟེར་མཐའ་ཡས་འབར། །

künkhyab tukjé özer tayé bar

The brilliance of your compassionate rays pervades all,

རྨད་བྱུང་ནུས་སྟོབས་བསྟན་འགྲོའི་པདྨོའི་གཉེན། །

mejung nü tob ten drö pemö nyen

The potent, extraordinary power of your warmth a friend to the lotus buds of sentient beings and the teaching of Buddha—

མཆོག་གི་གསང་གསུམ་རྟག་ཏུ་བརྟན་གྱུར་ཅིག །

chok gi sang sum taktu ten gyur chik

May your supreme three secrets remain forever.

རིས་མེད་ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་འཇིངས། །

rimé tubten chökyi gyatsö jing

The vast ocean of Śākyamuni’s non-sectarian dharma

གསན་བསམ་སྒོམ་པའི་ཟླ་ཟེར་གྱིས་རེག་པས། །

sen sam gompé dazer gyi rekpé

Touched by the moonlight of your hearing, contemplating and meditating,

འཆད་རྩོད་རྩོམ་པའི་རླབས་ཕྲེང་འབུམ་གཡོ་བས། །

ché tsö tsompé lab treng bum yowé

Generates innumerable waves of exposition, debate and composition—

བསྟན་འཛིན་སྐྱེས་བུའི་ཁྱུ་མཆོག་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

tendzin kyebü khyuchok zhabten sol

Foremost holder of the Buddha’s teaching, may you remain forever.

རབ་འབྱམས་སྐྱབས་གནས་མཆོག་གསུམ་བྱིན་སྣང་དང་། །

rabjam kyabné chok sum jin nang dang

Through sincere motivation, faith and commitment,

འགྲོགས་པའི་དད་དམ་ལྷག་པའི་བསམ་པ་ཡིས། །

drokpé dé dam lhakpé sampa yi

Accompanied by the infinite blessing of the Three Rare and Sublime Ones,

ཇི་ལྟར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་བཞིན་མྱུར་འགྲུབ་པའི། །

jitar solwa tab zhin nyur drubpé

May this prayer be swiftly accomplished,

དགེ་མཚན་སྲིད་ཞིའི་བླ་ན་མཛེས་གྱུར་ཅིག །

getsen sizhi lana dzé gyur chik

Ushering in the highest, most beautiful auspiciousness throughout saṃsāra and nirvāṇa.

ཅེས་པའང་རྗེ་བཙུན་བླ་མ་མཆོག་གི་ཞབས་རིམ་པ་ཤེས་རབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་ནས་རྟེན་བཅས་ཆེད་བསྐུལ་བཞིན་འཇམ་མགོན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་སྐུ་གོང་འོག་གིས་དགྱེས་པར་བསྐྱངས་པའི་སློབ་འབངས་ཀྱི་ཐ་ཆུང་འགྱུར་མེད་ཐེག་མཆོག་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་གྱིས་འཛམ་གླིང་ཡུལ་དབུས་འཕགས་ཡུལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན་གྱི་རྟེན་དྲུང་དུ་རྩེ་གཅིག་གུས་པས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་སིདྡྷི་རསྟུ།།  །།

When the sublime guru's attendant Sherab Gyaltsen issued a request accompanied by the support of a gift, I, Gyurme Tekchok Tenpé Gyaltsen, the lowest disciple who was happily cared for by the previous dharma king, composed this supplication on 15th January 1991, praying one-pointedly with great devotion in the presence of the sacred Vajra Seat (Bodhgayā), the central place of the Jambu continent. Siddhirastu!
