ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ།
hung hung hung
Hūṃ! Hūṃ! Hūṃ!
རྗེ་བཙུན་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ། །
jetsün chenpo pema tötreng tsal
O great and noble Pema Tötreng Tsal,
འགྲོ་བ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས་གནས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ། །
drowa yong kyi kyabné rinpoche
Precious source of refuge for all who live,
ཁྱད་པར་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བོད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་གཟིགས །
khyepar tukjé bö kyi semchen zik
Look upon the beings of Tibet with compassion.
ལས་ངན་སྤྱོད་པས་རྣམ་སྨིན་གྱིས་མནར་བས། །
lé ngen chöpé nammin gyi narwé
As we are tormented by the effects of our misdeeds,
བདག་སོགས་རྗེས་འཇུག་རྗེས་འབྲངས་སློབ་བུ་རྣམས། །
dak sok jejuk jé drang lob bu nam
Have you forsaken us, your own followers and disciples,
ཐུགས་རྗེས་འདོར་རམ་མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུ་རྗེ། །
tukjé dor ram maha guru jé
And relinquished your compassion, O noble Mahāguru?
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཡལ་ཡོལ་བཏང་སྙོམས་མངའ་བ་ན། །
tukjé yalyol tangnyom ngawa na
How could you ever be inattentive or indifferent,
ཡེ་སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་དགོངས་པ་ཅི་ཞིག་མཆིས། །
yé sangyé pé gongpa chizhik chi
When you have realised primordial awakening?
བདག་ཅག་དུས་འདིར་གདུང་བའི་མཆི་མ་འཁྲུག །
dakchak dü dir dungwé chima truk
Now when our distress has reduced us to tears,
གསོལ་འདེབས་ང་རོའི་འབོད་པ་ཅང་གསན་ནམ། །
soldeb ngarö böpa chang sen nam
Do you not hear our prayers and cries for help?
ཡིད་ནི་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་དྲན། །
yi ni tsechik khyé kyi yönten dren
With single-pointed focus, we recall your qualities.
ཕ་ཡི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་གཟིགས་ཤིག་རིན་པོ་ཆེ། །
pa yi tukjé zik shik rinpoche
Precious guru, look upon us with fatherly compassion!
བུ་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས་ཤིག་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །
bu la jingyi lob shik trulpé ku
Bless us, your children, O nirmāṇakāya guru!
ལུས་ལ་བདེ་བ་སྦོར་ཅིག་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས། །
lü la dewa bor chik khandrö tsok
Ignite bliss in our bodies, O hosts of ḍākinīs!
ངག་ལ་ནུས་པ་བསྐྱེད་ཅིག་ཡི་དམ་ལྷ། །
ngak la nüpa kyé chik yidam lha
Increase the power of our speech, O yidam deities!
སེམས་ལ་རྟོགས་པ་སྦོར་ཅིག་གུ་རུ་རྗེ། །
sem la tokpa bor chik guru jé
Spark realization in our minds, O noble guru!
འདིར་ཚོགས་མོས་པའི་བུ་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dir tsok möpé bu la jingyi lob
Confer your blessings on the devoted children gathered here!
ལུས་ལ་འགྱུར་མེད་སྐུ་ཡི་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
lü la gyurmé ku yi jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of the changeless kāya upon our bodies!
ངག་ལ་ཚངས་དབྱངས་གསུང་གི་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
ngak la tsang yang sung gi jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of Brahma’s melodious voice upon our speech!
སེམས་ལ་འཁྲུལ་མེད་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
sem la trulmé tuk kyi jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of unerring wisdom upon our minds!
ཡོན་ཏན་འགྲན་ཟླ་བྲལ་བའི་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
yönten drenda dralwé jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of enlightened qualities beyond compare!
ཕྲིན་ལས་འགྲོ་འདུལ་རྣམ་བཞིའི་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
trinlé drodul nam zhi jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of the fourfold activity for taming beings!
མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་བྱིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག །
chok dang tünmong ngödrub jin pob chik
Confer the blessing of siddhis, ordinary and supreme!
ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཛ་སིདྡྷི་ཕ་ལ་ཧཱུྃ་ཨཱཿ
om ah hung benza guru pema tötreng tsal benza samaya dza siddhi pala hung ah
oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma tötreng tsal vajra samāja jaḥ siddhi phala hūṃ āḥ2
གུ་རུའི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྗེས་དྲན་འདི། འབྲི་གུང་རིན་ཆེན་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གཏེར་མའོ།།
