༄། །གཡང་ཐང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གི་ཡང་སྲིད་མྱུར་འབྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Prayer for the Swift Rebirth of Yangthang Rinpoche

by the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche

སྟོན་མཆོག་མཉམ་མེད་ཤཱཀྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་། །

tön chok nyammé shakyé gyalpo dang

Supreme teacher, incomparable king of the Śākyas,

སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཁྱབ་བདག་པདྨ་འབྱུང་། །

chenrezik wang khyabdak pema jung

Avalokiteśvara and omnipresent Padmasambhava,

ལྷ་དང་དྲང་སྲོང་རིག་འཛིན་སྲུང་མའི་ཚོགས། །

lha dang drangsong rigdzin sungmé tsok

Assembly of devas, sages, vidyādharas and guardians,

གསོལ་བཏབ་རེ་བའི་འབྲས་བུ་དེང་འདིར་སྩོལ། །

soltab rewé drebu dengdir tsol

Cause this prayer of aspiration to bear fruit here and now!

རབ་འབྱམས་རྒྱལ་བའི་གསང་གསུམ་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་གར། །

rabjam gyalwé sang sum gyutrul gar

Magical play of the secret body, speech and mind of the infinite Victorious Ones,

ཆོས་སྐུ་ཁྱབ་གདལ་དབྱིངས་སུ་མ་བསྡུས་པར། །

chöku khyabdal ying su ma düpar

Do not merge into the basic space of the all-pervasive dharmakāya,

རྒྱལ་བསྟན་ལྔ་བརྒྱའི་དུས་མཐར་ལྷུང་བ་ལ། །

gyalten ngabgyé dü tar lhungwa la

But now, in this final age of fivefold degeneracy for the buddha’s teachings,

མགོན་ཁྱོད་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་དམ་བཅའ་ལྷུར་བཞེས་གསོལ། །

gön khyö tukkyé damcha lhur zhé sol

Carry out, O protector, your compassionate pledges and commitments.

སྙིགས་དུས་འདྲེན་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་རིག་པ་འཛིན། །

nyikdü drenpé gyaltsab rigpa dzin

Vidyādhara regent and guide for these degenerate times,

རེ་ཞིག་རྔ་ཡབ་དཔལ་རིར་དབུགས་དབྱུང་སྟེ། །

réshik ngayab palrir ukyung té

Although you might rest a while on the Copper-Coloured Mountain of Glory,

སླར་ཡང་སྐལ་བཟང་གདུལ་བྱའི་དཔྱིད་དཔལ་དུ། །

lar yang kalzang duljé chi pal du

Return once more, like the splendour of spring, and let the moon-like face

གང་གི་སྤྲུལ་པའི་ཟླ་ཞལ་མྱུར་འཆར་གསོལ། །

gang gi trulpé da shal nyur char sol

Of your reincarnation swiftly appear to all fortunate disciples.

མཆོག་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་བཅས་ཐུགས་རྗེ་དང་། །

chok sum gyalwa sé ché tukjé dang

By the compassion of the Three Jewels, buddhas and bodhisattvas,

བདག་སོགས་དད་དམ་གཙང་མས་གསོལ་བཏབ་མཐུས། །

dak sok dé dam tsangmé soltab tü

And the force of our prayers based on pure faith and samaya,

མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་པའི་ཡང་སྲིད་མྱུར་འཆར་ནས། །

chok gi trulpé yangsi nyur char né

May your supreme nirmāṇakāya incarnation swiftly appear

རླབས་ཆེན་བསྟན་འགྲོའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཤོག །

lab chen ten drö trinlé lhündrub shok

And spontaneously carry out great waves of activity for the teachings and beings.

ཅེས་ཞི་བར་གཤེགས་པ་༸མདོ་མང་གཏེར་སྟོན་གཡང་ཐང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གི་ཡང་སྲིད་མྱུར་འབྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས་སུ། ཞིང་གཤེགས་གང་གི་བླ་བྲང་ཉེ་གནས་དང་། འབྲས་ལྗོངས་དགོན་ཆེན་པདྨ་ཡང་རྩེ་འདུས་སྡེ་བཅས་ནས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། ཕྱི་ལོ་༢༠༡༦ རབ་ལོ་ ༡༧ མེ་སྤྲེལ་ཁྲུམས་ཟླའི་མར་ཚེས་ལ་མཆོད་རྟེན་དགོན་ནས་རྡོ་གྲུབ་ཆེན་བཞི་པས་སྨོན་ཚིག་བརྗོད་པ་དགེ །

Thus, at the request of the master's private residence and attendants, including the entire saṅgha of Sikkim’s great Pemayangtse Monastery, the Fourth Dodrupchen, offered these words of aspiration as a swift-rebirth prayer for Tertön Domang Yangthang Tulku Rinpoche from Chörten Monastery during the waning phase of the seventh month of the Fire Monkey year (2016) in the seventeenth calendrical cycle. May it prove virtuous!
