༄༅། །མཁྱེན་རབ་ཆོ་ཀྱི་འོད་ཟེར་གྱི་ཞབས་བརྟན་བཞུགས།

Prayer for the Long Life of Khyenrab Chökyi Özer

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་མཉྫུ་གྷོ་ཥ་ཡ།

Namo guru mañjughoṣāya!

མཁྱེན་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དྲི་མེད་རབ་བརྙེས་པས། །

khyenpé yeshe drimé rab nyepé

You have discovered supreme immaculate wisdom-knowledge,

ཟབ་རྒྱས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དེ་ཉིད་ཀུན་གཟིགས་ཤིང་། །

zabgyé chö kyi denyi künzik shing

And realized the nature of the Dharma, profound and vast,

ལེགས་བཤད་འོད་ཟེར་སྟོང་གི་འཕྲོ་འདུ་ཡིས། །

lek shé özer tong gi trodu yi

Now through a thousand shining rays of excellent explanation,

གདུལ་བྱའི་པད་ཚལ་སྐྱོང་མཛད་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

duljé petsal kyong dzé zhabten sol

You nurture the lotus-garden of disciples—may your life be long!

ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་དག་པའི་རྩ་བ་རབ་དུ་བརྟན། །

tsultrim dakpé tsawa rab du ten

With the roots of your pure ethical discipline firmly planted,

ཐོས་དང་བསམ་པའི་ཡལ་འདབ་མེ་ཏོག་བཀྲ། །

tö dang sampé yaldab metok tra

The foliage and flowers of study and contemplation bloomed,

ཚུལ་བཞིན་སྒོམ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་གཡུར་ཟ་བའི། །

tsulzhin gompé drebu yur zawé

And branches are laden with the fruits of genuine meditation—

རྣམ་འདྲེན་དཔག་བསམ་ལྗོན་པ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

namdren paksam jönpa zhabten sol

Guide and teacher, wish-fulfilling tree, may your life be long!

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་པད་ཡུན་དུ་བརྟན། །

palden lamé zhabpé yündu ten

Glorious guru, may your lotus-feet remain forever stable,

ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་བཞེད་དོན་མ་ལུས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ནས། །

tuk kyi zhedön malü lhündrub né

May all your wisdom aspirations be spontaneously fulfilled,

མཁྱེན་རབ་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྗེ་བཙུན་ས་སྐྱ་པའི། །

khyen rab wangchuk jetsün sakyapé

And may the immaculate and noble Sakya tradition

རིང་ལུགས་དྲི་མེད་ཕྱོགས་བཅུར་རྒྱས་གྱུར་ཅིག །

ringluk drimé chok chur gyé gyur chik

Of the lord of perfect wisdom flourish and spread in all directions!

ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་མཁས་བཙུན་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ཕུན་ཚོགས་དང་། བློ་གསལ་ཀུན་དགའ་རབ་རྒྱས་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཡང་ཡང་བསྐུལ་བའི་ངོར་ཤཱཀྱའི་དགེ་སློང་ངག་དབང་ལེགས་པས་ལུང་དང་རིགས་པ་སྨྲ་བའི་བསྟི་གནས་ཆོས་གྲྭ་ཆེན་པོ་བཤད་སྒྲུབ་དར་རྒྱས་གླིང་དུ་བྲིས་པ་སིདྡྷི་རསྟུ། མངྒ་ལཾ།། །།

Thus, in response to repeated requests from the learned and disciplined Tsultrim Puntsok and Losal Kunga Rabgye, this was written in Shedrup Dargye Ling, a great dharma centre and hub for exponents of scripture and reasoning, by Ngawang Lekpa, a monk of Śākyamuni. Siddhirastu. Maṅgalam.
