༄༅། །འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་རབ་མཐའ་ཡས་མྱུར་བྱོན་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Prayer for the Swift Rebirth of Jamyang Khyenrab Tayé¹

འཇམ་དབྱངས་བླ་མ་དགྱེས་པའི་གཟི་འོད་ལས། །

jamyang lama gyepé zi ö lé

Through the brilliance of the Mañjughoṣa Guru’s delight,

མཁྱེན་རབ་འོད་སྣང་མཐའ་ཡས་ས་གསུམ་བརྡལ། །

khyen rab ö nang tayé sa sum dal

Wisdom’s infinite radiance pervades the three worlds.

གཞན་ཕན་བྱམས་དང་བརྩེ་བའི་རང་གཟུགས་མཆོག །

zhenpen jam dang tsewé rang zuk chok

Supreme embodiment of altruism, kindness and love,

བཤེས་གཉེན་སྨྲ་བའི་དབང་པོ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

shenyen mawé wangpo solwa deb

Mighty spiritual friend and teacher, to you I pray.

ཕན་བདེའི་འབྱུང་གནས་རྒྱལ་བའི་བསྟན། །

pendé jungné gyalwé ten

Buddha’s teachings are the source of benefit and happiness,

དེར་འཛིན་བྱེད་པར་ཟླ་མེད་པའི། །

der dzinjé par da mepé

And you are peerless in upholding them,

ངེས་པ་དོན་གྱི་མཁས་པ་ཆེ། །

ngepa dön gyi khepa ché

A great scholar in the definitive sense,

མཁྱེན༷་རབ༷་མཐའ༷་ཡས༷་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

khyen rab tayé solwa deb

Khyenrab Thayé—'Limitless Wisdom'—to you I pray.

ཀྱེ་མ་མགོན་པོ་མཁྱེན་རབ་ཉི་མ་དེ། །

kyema gönpo khyen rab nyima dé

Alas! Now that this protector, sun-like in wisdom,

དབྱིངས་སུ་མནལ་བས་མུན་པ་ལྟར་གྱུར་ཅིང་། །

ying su nalwé münpa tar gyur ching

Reposes in absolute space, darkness has come.

མི་ཤེས་བླུན་པོའི་མུན་ཆེན་འཁྲིགས་པ་ལ། །

mi shé lünpö mün chen trikpa la

Into the murky gloom of ignorance and folly

མགོན་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྣང་བ་རྒྱས་པར་མཛོད། །

gönpö yeshe nangwa gyepar dzö

Let the light of this protector’s wisdom shine!

གང་དུ་གཤེགས་ཀྱང་བདེ་མཆོག་བདེ་བ་ཆེའི། །

gangdu shek kyang demchok dewa ché

Wherever you may have gone, do not resort, I pray,

རང་དོན་ཞི་བའི་ཕ་མཐར་མི་གཞོལ་པ། །

rangdön zhiwé patar mi zholpa

To the extreme of self-serving peace and highest ecstasy,

ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་རྣམས་སུ་སྤྲུལ་པ་མཐའ་ཡས་པས། །

chok chu nam su trulpa tayepé

But send infinite emanations throughout the ten directions

བསྟན་འགྲོའི་དོན་ཆེན་མཐའ་ཡས་བསྒྲུབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །

ten drö dön chen tayé drub tu sol

To bring immense benefit to the teachings and to beings.

བདག་ཀྱང་དེང་ནས་ཚེ་རབས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ། །

dak kyang deng né tserab tamché du

For me, too, from this time on throughout my future lives,

མགོན་པོ་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་མི་གཏོང་ཞིང་། །

gönpo chok gi tukjé mi tong zhing

May you never forsake me in your compassion, O protector,

ངེས་འབྱུང་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་མཆོག་དང་། །

ngejung tsultrim changchub sem chok dang

And may you always inspire me with renunciation, discipline,

ཡང་དག་ལྟ་བ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

yangdak tawa tokpar jingyi lob

Sublime bodhicitta and realization of the authentic view.

ཅེས་པ་འདིའང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་བྲིས་པ་དགེའོ། མངྒ་ལཾ་ཤུ་བྷཾ།། །།
