༄༅། །དཔལ་ས་སྐྱ་པ་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་བདག་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ངག་དབང་ཀུན་དགའ་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་བརྟན་བཀྲ་ཤིས་འཁྱིལ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ།

The Gathering of Auspiciousness

A Prayer for the Long Life of Dorje Chang Dagchen Ngawang Kunga Sonam, of the Glorious Sakyapa Puntsok Podrang

ཨོཾ་སྭསྟི།

om svasti

Oṃ svasti

ངོ་མཚར་ཕུན་ཚོགས་འཆི་མེད་གྲུབ་པ་ཡི།    །

ngotsar püntsok chimé drubpa yi

May the root and lineage gurus who’ve attained immortality, wondrous and perfect,

རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལྷ།    །

tsa gyü lama yidam kyilkhor lha

And the ocean of yidams and maṇḍala deities,

གནས་གསུམ་ཌཱ་ཀི་གུར་ཞལ་ཆོས་སྲུང་དང་།    །

né sum daki gur zhal chösung dang

Ḍākinīs of the three places, Pañjaranātha and Four-Faced Mahākāla,

ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་རྒྱ་མཚོས་ཤིས་པ་སྩོལ།    །

norlha terdak gyatsö shipa tsol

Dharma guardians, wealth-deities and treasure-keepers grant auspiciousness!

ངག༵་གི་འདོད་པ་འཇོ་བའི་མཁྱེན་གཏེར་ལྷ།    །

ngak gi döpa jowé khyen ter lha

Knowledge-treasure deity, who fulfils the wishes of expression,

དབ༵ང་བཅུ་གྲུབ་པ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོས་བསྒྱུར།    །

wang chu drubpa yong kyi khorlö gyur

Sovereign of all those who have attained the ten powers,

རིག་འཛིན་བྱེ་བའི་གཙུག་གི་ནོར་བུ་མཆོག  །

rigdzin jewé tsuk gi norbu chok

Supreme jewel at the crowns of ten million vidyādharas,

འཇམ་མགོན་ས་ཆེན་བླ་མ་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ།    །

jam gön sa chen lama zhabten sol

Gentle lord, great Sakya guru, may your life remain secure.

ཀུན༵་དག༵འ་སྙིང་པོའི་གསུང་ངག་རིན་ཆེན་གཏེར།    །

künga nyingpö sung ngak rinchen ter

You honour Kunga Nyingpo’s precious treasury of instructions

བསོ༵ད་ནམ༵ས་རྒྱལ་མཚན་རྩེ་མོར་ལེགས་མཆོད་དེ།    །

sönam gyaltsen tsemor lek chö dé

As the very pinnacle of the victory banner of merit,

བཤད་དང་སྒྲུབ་པས་ཕྱོགས་བཅུར་ཁྱབ་མཛད་པ།    །

shé dang drubpé chok chur khyab dzepa

And spread them in every direction through teaching and through practice,

བདག་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་དབང་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ།    །

dak chen dorjé chang wang zhabten sol

Dagchen, mighty Vajra Holder, may your life remain secure.

སྲིད་ཞི་ཀུན་གྱི་དཔ༵ལ་གྱུར་དོན་གཉིས་ལྡན།    །

sizhi kün gyi pal gyur dön nyiden

Splendour of all existence and quiescence, possessed of twofold benefit,

མཁས་དང་གྲུབ་པའི་རྣམ་ཐར་བཟང༵་པོ༵ས་མཛེས།    །

khé dang drubpé namtar zangpö dzé

Adorned with the excellent lifestyle of the learned and accomplished,

འཇི༵གས་བྲལ༵་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཁྲི་འཕང་མཐོན་པོ་རུ།    །

jikdral dorjé tri pang tönpo ru

May your lotus feet remain securely upon the lofty vajra throne

ཞབས་པད་བསྐལ་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོར་རྟག་བཞུགས་གསོལ།    །

zhabpé kalpa gyatsor tak zhuk sol

Of fearlessness for an ocean of aeons, I pray.

གསང་གསུམ་ནོར་བུ་ལྷུན་པོའི་གཟི་འོད་ཀྱིས།    །

sang sum norbu lhünpö zi ö kyi

May the brilliant light of the jewel mountain of your three secrets

བསྟན་འགྲོའི་རྒུད་མུན་མཐའ་དག་གཞིལ་བ་དང་།    །

ten drö gü mün tadak zhilwa dang

Dispel the darkness that has enshrouded teachings and beings;

ཕྱོགས༵་ལས༵་རྣམ༵་པར་རྒྱལ༵་བའི་བ་དན་ཕྱར།    །

chok lé nampar gyalwé baden char

May the flag that heralds universal victory be raised,

ཕྲིན་ལས་གདུགས་དཀར་ཡངས་པས་ཁྱབ་གྱུར་ཅིག  །

trinlé dukkar yangpé khyab gyur chik

And may the vast white parasol of your activity shelter us all.

ཅེས་པའང་གུས་འབངས་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མངོན་པར་དད་ཅིང་དང་བ་དང་།  ཉེ་ཆར་མཁྱེན་སྤྲུལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རབ་གསལ་ཟླ་བས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལྷ་རྫས་བཅས་གསུང་བསྐུལ་གྱིས་མཚམས་སྦྱར་ཏེ་ཤིང་རྟ་ས་ག་ཟླ་བའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་དབང་ཕྱུག་གིས་བདག་མེད་སྤྲུལ་པའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་དུ་དབང་ནོད་དེ་ས་དྲུག་པའི་རྟོགས་པ་བརྙེས་པའི་དམར་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་གཉིས་པའི་ཚེས་༢༣ ལ་གཟིམ་ཁང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་འཆི་མེད་གྲུབ་པའི་དགའ་ཚལ་དུ་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་བླ་མ་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་བཅས་ཀྱིས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ།    །སརྦ་དཱ་མངྒ་ལཾ།    །ཤུ་བྷཾ།།    །།

Thus, the respectful subject Jamyang Chökyi Lodrö composed this prayer out of his own intense, vivid faith, combined with a recent request, accompanied by an auspicious silk scarf, from the precious Khyentse Tulku Rabsel Dawa, in the residence known as The Garden of Immortality on the 23rd day, the second 'victory' of the waning phase, of Saga Dawa, when the lord of yogins¹ received empowerment into the maṇḍala of Nairātmyā and attained realization of the sixth bhūmi, in the Wood Horse year (1954). May the gurus, victorious ones and their heirs grant their blessings, so that it may be accomplished just so. Sarvadā maṅgalam. Śubham.
