Supreme Hayagrīva Lineage Prayer

༄༅། །སྙན་བརྒྱུད་རྟ་མཆོག་རོལ་པའི་བརྒྱུད་འདེབས་བཞུགས་སོ། །

Prayer to the Lineage of the Supreme Hayagrīva Emanation from the Aural Transmission

བདེ་ལྡན་དང་པོའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འོད་དཔག་མེད། །

deden dangpö sangye öpakmé

Amitābha, original Buddha within the Blissful realm,

ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་དབང་ཆེན་རྟ་མཆོག་དཔལ། །

longchö yongdzok wangchen tachok pal

Perfect sambhogakāya, glorious and mighty Hayagrīva,

གྲུབ་པའི་རིག་འཛིན་ནཱ་གརྫུ་ན་ལ། །

drubpé rigdzin naga dzuna la

And Nāgārjuna, the accomplished vidyādhara—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདུད་དཔུང་མཐར་བྱེད་ཤོག །

solwa deb so düpung tar jé shok

To you I pray: exterminate the forces of Māra!

སྣང་སྲིད་དབང་བསྒྱུར་པདྨ་རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་། །

nangsi wanggyur pema gyalpo dang

Padma Gyalpo, who brought appearance and existence under control,

སྙན་བརྒྱུད་བཀའ་བབས་པདྨ་མདོ་སྔགས་གླིང་། །

nyengyü kabab pema dongak ling

Dongak Lingpa,¹ to whom the aural transmission was transmitted,

ཆོས་བདག་སྐྱེས་མཆོག་བརྒྱུད་པར་བཅས་པ་ལ།

chödak kyechok gyüpar chepa la

And the lineage for supreme beings entrusted with this Dharma—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདུད་དཔུང་མཐར་བྱེད་ཤོག །

solwa deb so düpung tar jé shok

To you I pray: exterminate the forces of Māra!

ཡི་དམ་དབང་ཆེན་རྟ་མཆོག་རོལ་པ་དང་། །

yidam wangchen tachok rolpa dang

The yidam deity, mighty and supreme emanation Hayagrīva,

མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་སོགས། །

khandro chökyong norlha terdak sok

Ḍākinīs, dharmapālas, wealth deities, treasure-keepers and the rest,

པདྨ་གསུང་གི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་རབ་འབྱམས་ལ། །

pema sung gi kyilkhor rabjam la

All who belong to the infinite maṇḍalas of Lotus Speech—

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདུད་དཔུང་མཐར་བྱེད་ཤོག །

solwa deb so düpung tar jé shok

To you I pray: exterminate the forces of Māra!

གཞི་ཡི་རིགས་སད་ལམ་གྱི་བགྲོད་པ་ཡིས། །

zhi yi rik sé lam gyi dröpa yi

By awakening the ground potential and traversing the path,

སྣང་སྲིད་ཐམས་ཅད་གདོད་ནས་དག་པར་ཤར། །

nangsi tamché döné dakpar shar

May appearance and existence arise in their original purity.²

རྟ་སྐད་ཐེངས་གསུམ་དགོངས་པ་མངོན་གྱུར་ནས། །

také teng sum gongpa ngöngyur né

May we realize the intent of the three neighs of the horse,

འབྲས་བུ་རྟ་མཆོག་རོལ་པ་མངོན་གྱུར་ཤོག །

drebu tachok rolpa ngöngyur shok

And actualise the fruition of the supreme Hayagrīva emanation.

ཅེས་པའང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་སིདྡྷི་རསྟུ།
