Brief Petitionary Offering to the Five Achi Sisters

ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།

om ah hung

oṃ āḥ hūṃ

མཆོད་གཏོར་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་བདུད་རྩི་འདོད་ཡོན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་འཕྲོ་བར་གྱུར།

chötor yeshe kyi dütsi döyön gyatsö trinpung trowar gyur

From the offering torma emanate billowing clouds of wisdom nectar and oceanic sensory delights.

ཀྱཻ། རང་བཞིན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་ལས་མ་གཡོས་ཀྱང་། །

kyé rangzhin chö kyi ying lé ma yö kyang

Kye! Although you do not move from the natural dharmadhātu,

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་སྐྱོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་མཆོག་སྩོལ་ཕྱིར། །

sangye ten kyong ngödrub chok tsol chir

To protect the Buddhist teachings and bestow supreme siddhi,

དབྱིངས་ཕྱུག་ཡུམ་ལྔའི་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲྭ་བའི་གར། །

yingchuk yum ngé gyutrul drawé gar

You appear as the magical web of the five mothers, queens of space—

ཨ་ཕྱི་མཆེད་ལྔ་འཁོར་བཅས་འདིར་གཤེགས་ཤིག །

achi ché nga khor ché dir shek shik

Five Achi Sisters, come now, together with your retinues.

ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་བ་བླ་མེད་མཆོད་སྤྲིན་དང་། །

chi nang sangwa lamé chötrin dang

Accept these clouds of offerings, outer, inner, secret and unsurpassed,

ཡེ་ཤེས་བདུད་རྩིའི་གཏོར་མ་འདི་བཞེས་ལ། །

yeshe dütsi torma di zhé la

As well as this torma of the nectar of primordial wisdom,

རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བཀའ་བསྒོས་དམ་བཞག་ལྟར། །

tsa gyü lamé kagö damzhak tar

And, according to your pledge and the root and lineage gurus’ command,

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་སྲུང་བསྟན་འཛིན་སྐུ་ཚེ་བསྲིངས། །

sangye tensung tendzin kutsé sing

Guard the Buddha’s teachings and extend the lives of its holders.

བསྟན་པའི་སྦྱིན་བདག་མངའ་ཐང་ཕྱོགས་བཅུར་སྤེལ། །

tenpé jindak ngatang chok chur pel

Cause the influence of Dharma benefactors to increase in all directions,

ནད་མུག་མཚོན་འཁྲུགས་འབྱུང་བཞིའི་འཇིགས་པ་སོལ། །

né muk tsön truk jung zhi jikpa sol

Banish disease, famine, war, and dangers caused by the four elements,

སྣོད་བཅུད་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཕན་བདེའི་དགེ་མཚན་བསྐྱེད། །

nöchü küntu pendé getsen kyé

Increase auspicious signs of benefit and happiness for the whole world and its inhabitants,

རྣམ་བཞིའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛོད། །

nam zhi trinlé yizhin drubpar dzö

And carry out the four types of activity just as we desire.

ཅེས་པའང་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་སྟེང་གི་ཕྱོགས་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ་བའི་སྐུ་བཅར་གྲྭ་ཚངས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་བཞེད་ལྟར་བྱ་བྲལ་བ་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་ཞིང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་སོ།། །།

Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo wrote this according to the wishes of the monk-attendants of Lhundrup Teng, 'Victorious Over All Directions'. May it bring virtue and auspiciousness!
