༄༅། །བིར་ཝ་གྲུབ་པའི་གསོལ་འདེབས། །

Prayer to the Siddha Virūpa

ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་བིར་ཝ་པཱ་དཱ་ཡ།

Namo guru virūpādāya!¹

གཞུང་ལུགས་ཀུན་མཁྱེན་མཁའ་འགྲོས་རྗེས་སུ་བཟུང་། །

Zhung luk künkhyen khandrö jesu zung

Knower of all scriptures, accepted and cared for by ḍākinīs,

མངོན་གྱུར་ས་བརྙེས་དཔལ་ལྡན་བི་རཱུ་པ། །

ngöngyur sa nyé palden bi rupa

Glorious Virūpa, who achieved the state of realization,

གྲུབ་རིགས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གཙོ་བོར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

drub rik gyatsö tsowor solwa deb

Lord of an ocean of siddha families, to you I pray:

བར་ཆད་ཀུན་སེལ་མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་བསྩོལ། །

barché kün sel choktün ngödrub tsol

Dispel all obstacles, and grant me ordinary and supreme siddhis!

ཅེས་པའང་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོ་ཀུན་དགའ་ཆོས་དབང་གི་གསུང་ངོར་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པར་གཞན་ཀུན་གྱི་རྒྱུད་ལ་རྣལ་འབྱོར་དབང་ཕྱུག་གི་བྱིན་རླབས་འཇུག་པའི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་ཅིག།

At the request of the great vajra-holder Kunga Chöwang, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo made this prayer with the wish that it might become a cause for the blessings of the Lord of Yogins to infuse all others’ minds.
