Takhyung Barwa Prayer

༄༅། །ཀློང་ཆེན་སྙིང་ཐིག་ལས། བླ་མ་དྲག་པོ་རྟ་ཁྱུང་འབར་བའི་གསོལ་འདེབས།

The Prayer for the Wrathful Guru Takhyung Barwa from the Heart-Essence of the Vast Expanse

རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་བཟང་སྟོན་མཆོག་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས། །

gyalwa kunzang tön chok dorjé sem

To the Conqueror Samantabhadra, the supreme teacher Vajrasattva,

དགྱེས་པ་རྡོ་རྗེ་དཔལ་གྱི་སེངྒེའི་ཞབས། །

gyepa dorjé pal gyi sengé zhab

Prahevajra,¹ noble Śrī Siṃha,

མཉྫུ་མི་པྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན་སུ་ཏྲ་ལ། །

mandzu mitra dzana sutra la

Mañjuśrīmitra, and Jñānasūtra,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་རླབས་དབང་བསྐུར་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so jinlab wangkur tsol

I pray – bestow blessings and empowerments!

བི་མ་པད་འབྱུང་ཐུགས་སྲས་རྗེ་འབངས་གྲོགས། །

bima pejung tuksé jebang drok

To Vimalamitra, Padmasambhava, the heart-disciples – king, subjects, and companion –

ཀློང་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀུན་མཁྱེན་འཇིགས་མེད་གླིང་། །

longchen rabjam künkhyen jikme ling

Longchen Rabjam, the omniscient Jigme Lingpa,

སྐྱབས་ཀུན་ཡོངས་འདུས་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ། །

kyab kün yongdü tsawé lama la

And my root guru, the embodiment of all refuges,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་གྲོལ་བྱེད་ལམ་སྣ་སྟོན། །

solwa deb so drol jé lam na tön

I pray – guide me on the path that brings liberation!

རྒྱལ་ཀུན་སྤྱི་གཟུགས་ཨོ་རྒྱན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་། །

gyal kün chizuk orgyen dorjé chang

To Orgyen Dorje Chang, the embodiment of all the conquerors,

འདུལ་དཀའི་གཤེད་དུ་འཆོལ་བའི་ཁྲོ་རྒྱལ་སྐུར། །

dul ké shé du cholwé trogyal kur

Who takes the form of the wild wrathful conqueror for all those opponents difficult to tame,

ཡོངས་ཤར་དྲག་པོ་རྟ་ཁྱུང་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལྷར། །

yong shar drakpo ta khyung kyilkhor lhar

And all the deities arisen in the maṇḍala of the wrathful guru Takhyung,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་གྲོལ་སྩོལ། །

solwa deb so drebu tob drol tsol

I pray – bestow the fruition of liberation!

རང་ངོ་མ་མཐོང་གཉིས་འཛིན་ལས་ཀྱི་གདངས། །

rang ngo ma tong nyidzin lé kyi dang

Without discerning one's own essence, the karmic energy of dualistic grasping

སྣ་ཚོགས་ཡུལ་ལ་འཕོས་པའི་རྐྱེན་སྣ་ཚོགས། །

natsok yul la pöpé kyen natsok

Produces various conditions for the proliferation of various objects.

གཉིས་འཛིན་མཉམ་པ་ཆེན་པོར་རང་གྲོལ་ནས། །

nyidzin nyampa chenpor rangdrol né

May dualistic grasping be self-liberated in great equanimity,

ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པའི་རིག་འཛིན་མཆོག་བརྙེས་ཤོག །

lhün gyi drubpé rigdzin chok nyé shok

And may I then obtain the supreme state of the spontaneously accomplished vidyādhara!

ཅེས་པའང་ཆོས་གཟུགས་ནམ་མཁའ་ཚེ་དབང་མཆོག་སྒྲུབ་པས་བྲིས་པ་མངྒལཾ། །
