Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo Long-Life Prayer

༄༅། །འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་དབང་པོ་ལ་ཕུལ་བའི་བརྟན་བཞུགས་གསོལ་འདེབས།

Long-Life Prayer Offered to Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo

རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་དངོས་རྡོ་རྗེའི་རིག་པ་འཛིན། །

dorjé chang ngö dorjé rigpa dzin

Vajradhara in person, holder of vajra awareness,

པདྨ་ལས་འཁྲུངས་པདྨའི་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་མཆོག །

pema lé trung pemé gyaltsab chok

Supreme regent of Padma, the lotus-born master,

འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་དངོས་འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་ལྷ། །

jampal yang ngö jamyang khyentsé lha

Mañjuśrī in person, the divine Jamyang Khyentse—

བསྐལ་བརྒྱར་འཚོ་གཞེས་སྐལ་བཟང་མཐོང་གྱུར་ཅིག །

kal gyar tsozhé kalzang tong gyur chik

May we be fortunate to see you live a hundred aeons.

རྒྱལ་ཀུན་རིགས་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་ཚེ་མཐའ་ཡས། །

gyal kün rik kyi dakpo tsé tayé

Amitāyus, lord of all the families of victorious ones,

རྒྱལ་ཀུན་ཕྲིན་ལས་དབང་བསྒྱུར་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་མ། །

gyal kün trinlé wanggyur namgyalma

Vijayā, sovereign of the activity of victorious ones,

རྒྱལ་ཀུན་བསྐྱེད་ཡུམ་ཡིད་བཞིན་འཁོར་ལོའི་ཞབས། །

gyal kün kyé yum yizhin khorlö zhab

Noble Cintāmaṇicakra, mother to all victorious ones—

ཚེ་ཡི་ལྷ་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

tsé yi lha chok sum la solwa deb

To these three sublime deities of long life, I pray.

འཆི་བ་མེད་པའི་ཚེ་ལ་མངའ་བརྙེས་ཤིང་། །

chiwa mepé tsé la nga nyé shing

You have attained control of a deathless longevity,

རྒ་བ་མེད་པའི་ལང་ཚོར་རང་དབང་འབྱོར། །

gawa mepé langtsor rangwang jor

Taken possession of a youthfulness that never ages,

སྐྱེ་འཆི་མེད་པའི་དབྱིངས་དང་རོ་གཅིག་པ། །

kyechi mepé ying dang ro chikpa

And are one with the space beyond birth and death—

འཆི་མེད་ལྷ་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་བདེན་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས། །

chimé lha chok sum gyi den tob kyi

Sublime long-life deities, through your mighty truth,

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་སྐུ་ཚེ་རབ་བརྟན་ཞིང་། །

palden lamé kutsé rabten zhing

May the life of this glorious guru remain perfectly secure,

སྐུ་ཡི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་འབྱུང་བཞིའི་འདུ་འཁྲུགས་མེད། །

ku yi kyilkhor jung zhi du trukmé

The maṇḍala of his form avoid the four elements' turmoil,

གསུང་གི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཐའ་ཀླས་འགྲོ་བ་འདུལ། །

sung gi trinlé talé drowa dul

The activity of his speech influence unnumbered beings,

རྒྱལ་བསྟན་རིན་ཆེན་སྲོག་ཤིང་བརྟན་གྱུར་ཅིག །

gyalten rinchen sokshing ten gyur chik

And this vital pillar of the precious teachings stand firm.

ལས་ངན་བདག་ཀྱང་ལུས་ངན་འདོར་བའི་ཚེ། །

lé ngen dak kyang lüngen dorwé tsé

When I, an evil-doer, must depart this wretched form,

གནད་གཅོད་དྲག་པོའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མི་འབྱུང་ཞིང་། །

né chö drakpö dukngal minjung zhing

May I avoid the painful suffering of life's termination,

སྒྲིབ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དག་ནི་ཕྱིར་བསལ་ཏེ། །

dribpa tamché dak ni chir sal té

Purify and eliminate all forms of obscuration

བདེ་བ་ཅན་གྱི་ཞིང་དེར་སྐྱེ་བར་ཤོག །

dewachen gyi zhing der kyewar shok

And take birth in the blissful land of Sukhāvatī!
