བླ་མ་མཁྱེན།

རིགས་རྣམས་ཀུན་གྱི་བདག་པོ། །
rik nam kün gyi dakpo
Lord of all buddha families,
དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ཀུན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ། །
kyilkhor kün gyi tsowo
Chief of all maṇḍalas,
བརྟན་གཡོ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཁྱབ་བདག །
tenyo kün gyi khyabdak
Sovereign of the whole animate and inanimate world,
འཁོར་འདས་ཀུན་གྱི་དཔལ་མགོན། །
khordé kün gyi palgön
Glorious protector of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa,
དྲིན་ཅན་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ། །
drinchen tsawé lama
Gracious root guru,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
མ་རིག་མུན་པས་བསྒྲིབས་ལ། །
marik münpé drib la
As I’m enshrouded in the darkness of ignorance,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
འཆི་བ་ཡོང་སྙམ་མེད་ལ། །
chiwa yong nyammé la
As I fail to consider the approach of death,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
ལྟོ་གོས་ཞེན་པ་ཅན་ལ། །
to gö zhenpachen la
As I’m attached to food and clothing,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
བློ་བསྐྱེད་ཡོང་རྒྱུ་མེད་ལ། །
lo kyé yong gyumé la
As I’m incapable of forming resolve,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
སྐྱབས་མགོན་ཁྱེད་རང་མ་གཏོགས། །
kyab gön khyerang ma tok
Lord of refuge, aside from you,
རེ་ས་གཞན་ན་མི་འདུག །
resa zhen na mi duk
I have no other source of hope.
འདི་ཕྱི་བར་དོ་གང་དུ། །
di chi bardo gangdu
In this life, the next and the bardo state,
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱི་གཟིགས་ཤིག །
tukjé chen gyi zik shik
Look upon me with eyes of compassion.
ཅེས་བླ་མ་རྒྱང་འབོད་འདི་ནི་དད་ཅན་སྙིང་གར་རྒྱལ་ལ་གདམས་པའོ།། །།
This call to the guru from afar was imparted as an instruction to the faithful Nying Gargyal.
