Getse Mahāpaṇḍita wrote this catalogue to the collected writings of Jigme Lingpa on the occasion of their publication in Derge in or after 1802. He begins with a biography of Jigme Lingpa, then identifies the patrons of the printing, the King and Queen of Derge, and the one who requested the publication, Dodrupchen Jigme Trinle Özer. This is followed by the actual catalogue, which lists all Jigme Lingpa’s writings except those of the Longchen Nyingtik revelation, for which there is a separate catalogue by Jigme Losal Özer.

Guru Tashi wrote this catalogue to the Khandro Yangtik collection following its publication in Derge 1808. The famed historian, who was instructed by Queen Tsewang Lhamo to proofread the texts, begins by discussing the historical origins of both the Khandro Nyingtik and Khandro Yangtik, then provides some information about the publication process, and finally lists the contents of the collection.

This catalogue of the treasures of the Longchen Nyingtik was written in 1802 at the Lhundrup Teng temple in Derge, after the printing blocks had been carved at Derge's famous printing house. The text includes (1) a history of how the Dzogchen teachings came to this world, (2) an account of how they flourished in Tibet, and (3) the actual catalogue in eight sections.

In this open letter, which likely dates from the mid-1920s, Jampal Rolwe Lodrö notes the popularity of Gorampa’s works, as well as those of other leading Sakya philosophers, Shākya Chokden (1428–1507) and Taktsang Lotsāwa Sherab Rinchen (b.1405). He claims that many monks took such polemical works—as he calls them—to be definitive, leading them to refute “the precious doctrine of the noble Dharma king, the great Tsongkhapa.” He therefore challenges anyone holding such views to a debate. But this is not before he demonstrates his own nonsectarian values by praising every major Tibetan school and identifying himself as a true follower of all their highest teachings.
